They should have put in a larger format restraunt as they get overwhelmed with customers resulting in long wait times in spite of joining the wait list online. It took over 1 1/2 hours past the time the seating was permitted. When we were seated, the service was not up to the standard expected. Servers disappeared and new ones appeared. Half of our party's food arrived and was finished before the others were served. I understand this is a new location but given it had been opened for over a month, the service and execution was awful. I will be looking to other locations or establishments for my Italian fix.

It was not toasted, unlike we are used to in a banh mi. I ate 3 or 4 bites and that's it. I am sad we wasted our only San Antonio meal on this sandwich. They had a certificate inside that said best in San Antonio. Maybe it was an off day. I would try something else another time.
