I decided to try the Never Ending Pasta since I hadn't eaten all day. They give you a small portion to start and then when you ask for more then brought me an even smaller bowl that only had 4 bites in it. I had to wait 12 minutes for that second bowl. I asked for another and it was again a small bowl with 4 bites that took them 15 minutes to bring. The portions and time it takes them to serve it are ridiculous. Our expectations weren't high but our experience was so low we needed to drop a line. Ordered endless salad, soup and bread, marinara for the bread and some kind of fried shrimp appetizer. Everything came at once (which was fine). Drinks had very little ice and was warm. Marinara was cold. We were not offered refills on any of the "endless" items and not offered drink refills. When we asked for soup refills we weee brought the wrong soups. Nothing was cleared although we put our dirty dishes at the end of the table. Olive Garden peaked in 2011. Don't do it. read more

UPDATED REVIEW: 01/28/23 I had another visit here for dinner with a coworker. I used the online 'check in' app, though there wasn't a wait for 2 guests. Had the endless soup & salad again. Our waitress, Margaret, was very upbeat & friendly. I used the Ziosk to order another drink because it was picking up at the restaurant & Margaret was handling parties of 6 or more. I find it extremely convenient to pay at the table, too. Anyway, I easily placed a to-go order for my husband (chicken alfredo tortellini) with minestrone soup. This order was much better than the last. I updated my review from 3-stars to 4. ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW: Came to this OG location around 3pm for a meeting with my manager. Can't go wrong with the endless soup, breadsticks & salad. The soups are on the salty side, but that is to be expected with chain restaurants. The chicken & gnocchi soup is my favorite. Our waitress seemed a little overwhelmed & didn't clear our table as we put dishes & glasses at the end of the table. Two other members of the waitstaff noticed & would come over to grab things. I placed a to-go order for my husband for the chicken alfredo. Unfortunately, the pasta was hard & undercooked. For a dish that costs over $20, that was a total disappointment. read more

This is a most unfortunate experience I had and I need to somehow spread awareness but I am not sure how successful I will be based on my treatment by a so-called manager. Here goes: I went into the Olive Garden in Concord NH last night (Nov 2, 2024) for my regular salmon dinner, which is one of my favorite meals. I also happen to be in a severe grieving period after the tragic loss of my sibling with whom I was very close. I went in to treat myself to a good dinner and some alone time with a book after a very trying week. I sat in the bar area. It was near closing and at the bar the actual Olive Garden staff was sitting around and seemed to having a good time, which was refreshing. The laughs seemed comforting. Then I listened to the conversation they were having which I could not believe. They were actually making fun of one of their co-workers who is under five feet and this conversation led into a most prejudice attack on people in general who are of a shorter stature. Not only is this inappropriate overall, the details happened to have hit close to home regarding my recent loss, so I got distressed. Being in a vulnerable state I could not control my words and addressed this inhumane conversation. The worst part of it was how the NIGHT MANAGER (whom I will not name but I am hoping the right people in CORPORATE will be able to identify him) addressed my concerned when I called him over. He trivialized the situation and told me that their comments on this co-worker were (in so many words) harmless and apparently he was in a position to speak for this absent co-worker, letting me know that this person would not be offended. I can't believe he said this. Does this mean that this prejudice has occurred before on his watch? Plus, he said that they were "off work" so this seemed to justify what they said while I was still in the restaurant dining...so the place was not closed. When I said that this was not okay he simply made me feel foolish by saying "sorry" in a most insincere way. I can't believe that how he, the MANAGER, handled this -- as if I were in the wrong. I am wondering why he didn't at least agree with me that this was unacceptable behavior, especially when it was being pontificated rambunctiously for many to hear. To me that is a big concern. Incidentally, earlier on, I was going to call the MANAGER over for a different reason. I think the Olive Garden does something remarkable with the tase and texture of their grilled salmon and I planned to compliment him and ask how they did it -- but this was the exchange instead. I have a feeling that this will be looked at as nothing more than me being an unreasonable customer (I certainly did not feel like a "guest") but I am hoping someone in CORPORATE or even a customer (please note that I am a loyal customer; the manager even recognized me). So I guess I am asking how might this be addressed by one of your semi-regular customers? Being a good manager means being a strong leader which means being a role model and this certainly applies to the main components of what it means to be an emotional intelligent human. If you don't have them already, there should be trainings that focus on these human rights, especially in a service industry that constantly deals with the public. read more

20yrs ago I loved Olive Garden and they were a descent chain restaurant with American versions of "Italian" dishes. Sadly this chain is now synonymous with crappy food, an atmosphere of "fine Italian dinning" with the back ground sounds of children screaming or music/sounds coming from smart devices. With patrons wearing their Walmart best, dressed to resemble Larry the Cable guy. So how does this location hold up............. Atmosphere/Cleanliness. Absolutely disgusting! When I first walked in there was an over whelming mildew smell. That kind of smell you have when you were a kid and your sneakers got wet. It wasn't over powering but you could smell the mold/mildew subtle like a yankee candle off in the corner of the room. Bathrooms were gross. No paper towels, water every where and barely usable. The dinning room, besides the funky smell was very dirty. Dust everywhere. Food bits on the floor coupled with glowing white paper from the straws. There were plenty of employees walking by, right past the trash and debris. Not to mention a swifter just leaning against the wall. Food/Drink. Do to the state of the place. We had one drink, ordered an app to split and got out of there immediately. We read some reviews and agreed with the ones that talked about cleanliness. This place was gross and our table setting and plates were dirty. The drink we had wasn't bad. Took forever to get and the app we got (calamari) was eh. No taste, over cooked and very bad. Not fresh at all. Service. Our waitress was very friendly, but again we waited over 20min for a drink that consisted of purée in a glass with champagne coming from a small self serve bottle. Other employees, and there were a lot of them to include what appeared to be a manager. Were all leaning around having conversations. Apparently they do not know, "if you have time to lean you have time to clean". If the front of the house is in this state, what does the back of the house look like? Never mind I do not want to know! Cost. Fair. I think our app was between $10-15. Same with our drinks. Will I be back? Absolutely not for this location. It is gross, smells and you can't relax there. We were a party of two adults at 8pm at night. We were sat around families with young children screaming in a dirty smelly dinning area. Made to wait a exuberant amount of time for drinks and were served barely edible food with dirty plates. One star for our friendly waitress, drinks being ok and price. read more

Quite possibly the best experience I have ever had at an Olive Garden. A busy Monday night for sure but they NAILED IT! The bathrooms were very clean. Bethany, our server, was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. He got the soup, and I got the salad - both were great! My shrimp scampi was perfect, and his dish was really good too. Came here with my husband for our anniversary, it was a okay over all. But my chicken and shrimp carbonara was very greasy (also was the bread sticks) when I addressed this to our server (I wish I remembered her name) she quickly took action and apologized even though I knew it wasnt her fault at all, but I very much appreciate that from her, the fact she didn't try to talk back or add any comments but instead fixed the situation. We knew she told the manager and his name was Dyaln, Dylan; came over and also apologized on his behalf for the pasta, and honestly an apology really dose do it for me because I know how nasty people can be sometimes. But I went ahead and order a shrimp Alfredo and had my other pasta taken back. Dyaln, came with my shrimp Alfredo and has let me and my husband know that the two plates (carbonara and shrimp alfredo) was taken off the bill. I had never eaten at an Olive Garden until my husband told me how good the soup and salad option was. I gave it a go, and it's now one of my go-to places for dinner when I am in Concord. I've had the kale-potato and spinach chicken gnocchi, which were fabulous. The salad is large, and the breadsticks divine. Who knew? And the price can't be beat. read more

Went here for lunch today with my husband and my parents. Our experience was good. We were seated quickly and the server was friendly. We all ordered the endless spaghetti with endless salad and breadsticks. The food came out quickly and was very tasty. My husband is the only one who had seconds. The rest of us were too full. The manager came around to make sure everything was good and our server checked in on us often. We all enjoyed our experience there today. By the time the meal ended we were all too stuffed for dessert but they all looked very good so we will have to go back and try some later. We will definitely be going back again. read more

The review is specifically for their catering- I needed catering for an important office lunch last minute (the day before) for 25+ people. Most local places weren't able to accommodate such a large order with 24 hours notice. I happened upon the Olive Garden's catering menu and was able to place the order right on their website. It was decently priced, they were able to deliver and included everything needed for an office lunch- including plates, utensils, warming trays, and serving ware. They arrived right on time, the food was hot and it was a huge hit! It looked great too, not like it was thrown together, 5 stars all around! This is a clean, well maintained and well run location. Unlike most olive gardens that make you wait no matter how many available tables there are they seat you right away. I can't say the sangria is drinkable and the it is hard getting good suggestions for wine when you are waited on by a high schooler but still overall good scores for quality of food, speed of deliver and attentiveness during the meal. read more

Props to Tanisha for being attentive and getting my next bowl of soup right as I finished my current one. Also noticed they give a small compliment right when you sit down (they're already working for their tip). I felt the breadsticks changed a bit since the last time I came here. They had a crispier crust. The minestrone soup was delicious! The salad had a little too much salad dressing. There was a pool of dressing in the bottom of the bowl. I was disappointed that I had to ask for their chocolate mints as I left. I'm so used to servers just dumping a couple on the table with the check. Overall this Olive garden is great! My brother and I ate lunch yesterday and we both were sick up all night. Possible food poisoning. The only thing we both ate in common was the salad and the bread sticks which by the way were over cooked to crispy and the alfredo dipping sauce. This used to be our favorite place to go when in Concord. Today we ordered lunch and had 3 sets of dirty silverware handed to us. I had to ask for my 2nd soup after being told it would be out 15 minutes prior (I got the soup salad and bread sticks lunch). When I got my soup, the bowl only had 2 dumplings in it and served with another dirty spoon on the plate. We traveled over 50 miles, from Spofford, NH, to eat at an Olive Garden. We were there by 1:00 for lunch. No lunch menues on Saturday and Sunday! Long story short! When tossing our table bowl of salad, second serving for all, I found a dead one winged moth in the middle of the bowl!! Plucked it out and presented it out very nice and efficient waitress. Within minutes the manager was at our table with sincere apologies. He reduced our bill by 50%. Must admit we are all turned off on this restaurant! My husband and I went to the Concord, NH Olive Garden for lunch today. I had a very good lunch with a wonderful salad and my husband loves the Tuscana Soup. I had the cheese ravioli with meat sauce and my husband had the rotini with meat sauce. We both really love the meat sauce. We both were really impressed with our waiter named Kyzair. He was very personable and professional and was very attentive. He seemed to know just when we needed something and would bring it. He was very warm and friendly. I think he has been one of the nicest waiters we have ever had at Olive Garden and we heard other customers at his other tables thanking him very much for serving them. Just hope the powers that be will recognize his service. read more

As I've said in previous reviews I don't understand all the criticism Olive Garden receives. My friend and I come here several times a year and have never been unhappy. Most recently was three nights ago, to celebrate an event. As usual the food was fresh and tasty. But our server was the highlight of our visit. Unfortunately his name escapes me. He was new - his first night working alone - and appeared to be foreign. From the start he was super polite, knowledgeable, professional and truly went out of his way to provide good service. Just a genuinely nice guy who seemed to enjoy his work! (If I did have a minor complaint it might be that he went a bit overboard with his attentiveness! Please accept this as constructive criticism. Overall, he did a very good job!) Is the Olive Garden perfect? Certainly not. Could it use a facelift? Yes, probably. It is an older building. But dirty? No! Does the food compare to the finest Italian restaurants in New York? Probably not. But the positives greatly outweigh the negatives in my opinion. read more

I ordered the salad dry, & without onions, black olives, or tomatoes, which I don't like. They even omitted the pepperochini peppers too, even though I didn't mention them. I didn't want them either, so that was fine. Also, they only have ONE dressing choice, their "signature" Italian, which is NOT vegan! DRESSING INGREDIENTS: Water, Soybean Oil, Distilled Vinegar, High Fructose Corn Syrup, Salt, EGG, Romano Cheese (MILK, Salt, Cultures, Enzymes (probably rennet, which is animal based), Dehydrated Garlic, Sugar, Spices, Xanthan Gum, Dextrose (corn derivative), Calcium Disodium EDTA added to protect flavor, Annatto Color, Natural Flavors.) I found this out b4 I went, so I smuggled in my own vegan Ranch dressing, that I had made. Their croutons, are NOT vegan either. I had looked up online, about what sides they offered, & found recipes 4 roasted potatoes, roasted potatoes with onion, Risotto, Herbed Risotto, Creamy Polenta, Green Beans with Tomato & Garlic, Marinated Peppers, Roasted Corn & Tomato Salad, White Bean Salad, with tomatoes & Crispy Pancetta, & Garlic Mashed Potatoes. When we looked at the menus, we could find NO SIDE DISHES (such as above) LISTED ANYWHERE! I asked about the potatoes, and she said they no longer have any roasted potatoes, but she thought they still might serve the Garlic Mashed Potatoes. When she confirmed this, I ordered some for $2.99. I got a big scoop of them, about the size of a baseball. They were soooo good, especially with some of the vegan butter I brought. I'm sure they weren't vegan though. I looked up the ingredients, after we returned, & I was right. There was butter, milk & cream in them. :( So, if you're vegan, or have dairy allergies, Olive GARDEN offers VERY little 2 eat. Virtually every dish offered, has dairy in it. The few exceptions are... 1. The salad, with no cheese, no croutons & vinegar & oil 4 a dressing. 2. The pastas, with marinara (with no cheese) & "vegetables" option. 3. Steamed broccoli (with no cheese). 4. The bread sticks (their butter might not b vegan) 5. Minestrone soup. That's it, for vegan food there. If you're vegan, & want the vegan soup, salad & bread sticks, bring your own dressing, or ask for vinegar & oil, to make some. My friend, a vegetarian, had more options, such as, pasta with cheese sauce, lasagna, broccoli & cheese, etc. There r several meat free options, but virtually all of them, have cheese, or dairy based sauce on them. My husband and I were in a nearby town for a political event. We had not eaten since breakfast, so we stopped at the Concord Olive Garden for an early dinner. We were wearing our party candidate's name on our shirts. We got the minimum of service. It appeared that we were traded off to one waitress and then another. Our waiter did not bring our drinks until my husband reminded him. He looked at our empty table and had the nerve to ask, "You mean I didn't bring them?" He finally brought my salad and said, "Do you know when you forget something? I just forgot to bring something." My husband said, "The cheese?" He said, "I forgot to bring the bread." then he never brought our bread. He gave me very little cheese and did not ask me when I wanted him to stop grating. It has always been a common practice to allow customers to let them know how much cheese they want. One of the waitresses looked at me and said, "Oh, G-d! One of those! Trade?" We asked for to-go boxes and then watched our waiter as he gave attentive service to everyone around us. He brought boxes and bags, helped one woman bag all of her food, and helped her with the kiosk. He spent just as much time on the other patrons. We never got our receipt. My husband was able to pay at the kiosk and gave our waiter a good tip even though he didn't deserve a single penny. My husband believes in treating others as he wants to be treated. I filed a complaint with their corporate office and was told the Director of Operations would contact me in 1-2 business days. He never contacted me. We will never do business with another Olive Garden again. Employees need to be trained to treat ALL customers with respect. Don't base your service on whether you agree with their party affiliation or not. We wouldn't do that. From now on, we will be visiting family-run Italian restaurants that treat ALL their customers with respect. I do not think it is wise to run off your customer base. Even if they do eventually get back to me, I won't take a gift card. I want a full refund and our waiter to know he was wrong and lost his employer good paying customers. read more

Took my husband there for his birthday because this is his/our favorite place but this visit was not good. If it were not for the manager who was very attentive we might sill be sitting there waiting. The server barely did her job. Never cleaned an empty dish away not did she ask us if we wanted more salad or anything. I got the wrong pasta. Ordered angel hair but got regular spaghetti.
