    Greek Village Salad

A super cute little greek restaurant. The service is super friendly, the food is really great and they have a nice wine selection with some specialty Greek wines. Everything we tried was great and the portions are huge. We started with hummus, Greek salad, and calamari. Then moved on to lamb chops and moussaka for dinner. Everything was perfectly cooked, hot and delicious. We will definitely be back.

Stopped by yesterday and had a great experience. Greeted as soon as I walked in. Sat quickly. Order was taken friendly and efficiently. Appetizer was delicious and main course was even better. Wish i had left room for dessert. Highly recommended for those that like Greek food.

    Bougatsa - custard filled pastry

Lunch for Greek Orthodox Easter- had the lamb shank - delicious!!! Shared the best dessert- Bougatsa!! Flaky pastry filled with decadent flavorful custard- served warm! Lively environment just like a Greek Family dinner should be. Service was great. I would have given 5 stars however our reservation for 6 was specifically for a Table- not a booth or hightop due to a family member with a handicap. Unfortunately, we were seated at a hightop and then a booth as it became available. We made due but it did inconvenience us a bit

A simply fantastic Greek restaurant. Inside and outside are well put together and thoughtfully laid out. There's ample parking, and it's right off Willow Street near the DMV. Inside, there's a hip vibe with great Greek accents. You can definitely tell this is a Greek-owned restaurant--the passion for the homeland is evident. As you can see from my photos, I'm the rare Manchester Yelper who actually takes photographs of menus. The menu here is quite extensive. It's an upscale restaurant, so the prices are higher than other Greek places, but it's worth it. Karen, our waitress, was simply fantastic--maybe the best we've had since we moved here. The Greek pizza was great and very filling; I couldn't finish it. I recommend swapping the tomatoes with olives. My partner had the gyro. There was a bit of a mix-up on her order, but Karen made it right with the kitchen. The onion rings were quite crunchy and tasty. We will definitely return to try out more delicacies.

Nikki and Dani are amazing bartenders , food is delicious! Love the Greek music and vibe as ambiance. The bloody Mary's Dani made were sooo good

I recently had the chance to indulge in a variety of Greek dishes, and overall, it was a delightful culinary experience. Here's a breakdown of the highlights (and a few misses): Chicken Lemon Soup This soup was a standout--perfectly seasoned and wonderfully homemade in taste. It was warm, comforting, and exactly what you'd hope for in a traditional dish. Spanakopita The spanakopita was hearty and satisfying, though I think it could have used just a touch more feta or salt to elevate the flavors. Still, it was a fantastic dish that I'd happily order again. Grape Leaves I love grape leaves, and these didn't disappoint. While the rice was a bit overcooked for some at my table, I found it enjoyable, especially paired with the lemon sauce, which was vibrant and zesty. As a lemon lover, it hit all the right notes! That said, I would've appreciated the option of a meat-filled version. Pastitsio Unfortunately, this dish fell a bit flat for me. The meat was slightly overcooked, and it lacked the depth of seasoning I was hoping for. While it's a simple and homey dish, it just didn't leave a lasting impression. Not bad, but not something I'd rush to order again. Bougatsa Oh. My. Goodness. If you order one dessert, make it the bougatsa. This was hands-down the best thing I tried all night--creamy, sweet, and absolutely heavenly. I didn't even bother trying the baklava because I can't imagine anything surpassing this perfection. Galaktoboureko While I usually love this dessert, it just didn't wow me this time. It wasn't bad, but it couldn't hold a candle to the bougatsa. Lamb Kebab and Athens Haddock I sampled a bit of my sister's lamb kebab, which was tender and cooked well, though it could've used a bit more seasoning. My boyfriend's Athens haddock was a pleasant surprise--flavorful with feta and cracker crumbs. I wasn't sure the crackers added much, but overall, it was a dish I found myself wishing I'd ordered. Lemon Potatoes and Greek Potatoes Both were okay but didn't stand out. They served their purpose as side dishes but didn't leave a strong impression. Overall, the meal had its highs and lows, but the highlights (especially that bougatsa!) made it memorable. I'd definitely return to try a few of my favorites again--and maybe steal more bites of that haddock! Also, I wanted to note our waitress was simply fantastic. I think her name was Maria.

Greeted upon arrival. Very nice staff. Clean, bright & colors of Greece. Ordered small plates... zucchini chips soggy & breading very thick. Dolmades quite soft, lemon sauce delicious, my kids loved the keftedes, spanakopita seemed like it was warmed up in microwave due to the very hard filo on the bottom. Saganaki was yummy but they didn't light it. Loukaniko on toast was fabulous. Galaktoboureko was eh! It was made quite different. Not something we were use too. Loukoumades were ok. Frappe was perfect! I'm not sure if they just obtained the restaurant but they need some work on some of these items. It's a tried it! Probably won't go back.

    Lots of awards won!

The portion size is variable. I've had it "generous" and I've had it "Whoa - that's a LOT of food". They're not covered with a standard tzatziki sauce - theirs is more feta forward. Super tasty. The fries vary as well. Sometimes a bit crunchier and sometimes, while still crunchy, more toward McD fries style. But it's just the outer surface that crunches. Inside it's smooth and creamy. Top drawer. You'll find that they tuck a few fries into the wrap. A nice touch. The only negative point is speed. I've always been there early - the first for lunch. But it still takes a fair bit of time to get the food. Arrive during the crowded time and you're definitely going to be waiting around. But ... worth it. I ordered the Zeus gyro along with a side of fries. The fries came out piping hot, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. They were crisp on the outside, soft on the inside, and honestly some of the better fries I've had in a while. A great start to the meal. The gyro itself had great flavor--the ingredients were fresh, the toppings were vibrant, and the seasoning was spot on. Unfortunately, it was lukewarm when it reached the table. The taste was good enough that I kept going, but I couldn't help but think how much better it would have been served hot. A gyro with that much potential deserves to come out at full temperature, and I was disappointed that it didn't quite get there. That said, the overall experience was still positive. The friendliness of the staff and the quality of the ingredients make me believe this was probably an off moment in the kitchen. I'd definitely give them another shot because the foundation is clearly solid--and when that gyro comes out hot, I'm sure it'll be fantastic. Worth a visit, and worth trying again.

The rice was a bunch of congealed clumps (see other photo) . There is no nice way to say it, it was disgusting. I don't know what has changed, but it made me sad to see the quality of food had declined so much.

Don't get me wrong, our waitress was polite, but every time we mentioned something, there just wasn't any follow-through. I had asked for extra bread and a new napkin and they never arrived. When my boyfriend asked for more water, she responded along the lines of she was about to do it, which came off like it was an inconvenience. I also wasn't offered fresh pepper and had to ask for Parmesan cheese, which made things feel a little off. I ordered the Linguine ai Frutti di Mare with clams, calamari, mussels, scallops, shrimp, and a lobster tail. The seafood itself was cooked pretty well, but the pasta was heavily overcooked, which was such a bummer because we come here at least twice a year and usually look forward to it. Afterward, I asked if the pasta was homemade and was told you have to specifically request that. I feel like that's something that should be mentioned upfront when ordering. Also, I forgot to mention they add radishes to the salad and no one asked about allergies. When I got mine, there was a big radish in it and I just had to hope I removed them all, which wasn't a great feeling. I don't know what changed, but overall this visit just felt a little disappointing compared to what we're used to.

The food: Mostly hit as we hoped! Chicken parm was great, marinara was excellent! The surprise was the bolognese on my partner's spaghetti side, which was a bit bland, expected the opposite - both were still great to be clear. Chicken Caesar salad was on point as much as a salad can be. ;) The service: This is the real issue. Only two of us, and about 5 seconds after giving my drink order (while my partner was still ordering her drink) and getting a initial look of disapproval when ordering water on the waitress's first pass (wanted to look at the drink menu), I asked to swap the liquor in my Olde Fashion to something she mentioned under her breath when I first ordered it (took me a minute to process it). The waitress said it was "too late" with her handheld because it's instantly sent to the bar. If that's true, that's a pretty bad system, efficiency be damned. We were within earshot of many other tables - our waitress didn't explain dishes or specials like we saw/heard other servers doing (left us feeling regretful with our food choices), and she tried to take my card before I even opened the bill... this is after telling us we had to wait 15 minutes for a second round of bread (haha, which showed up 35 minutes later - petty, but annoying). Things were bad enough with the waitress that we actually asked to box up our mains shortly after receiving them (ate less than 10% of either). This was our second visit (first was takeout, which was great) and our first time dining in. Being in Customer Service and having a history in the restaurant industry, on the way out (after paying and tipping, aka not looking for a discount), I hesitated walking out the door and turned to ask for a manager. The front-of-house host said he'd speak as the manager and responded to everything with a sarcastic "that's unfortunate" / "that's our standards" / "that's too bad" / and sent us on our way. Not big complainers, hate doing it, but this one stuck with us, especially with the high praise and relatively premium prices this restaurant seemingly gets online -- bad taste service-wise, great taste food-wise. Looking around, most of the customers are of an older demographic, and again, most of the waitstaff seemed awesome (especially compared to ours). Would absolutely get the food again. However, as someone that lives on the North End of Elm St, I would never dine in again if this is what they consider acceptable service... what more can we do besides speak up about our concerns, after settling the tab... being told that's "normal" is gross in my opinion. Working in restaurants in the past, if that's their standard, then I distrust their entire approach to service.
