Olive Garden seems to be a contradiction . I've had some of the best waitresses in El Paso there and some of the worst waiters, in my experience, also there. One waiter actually told me he was too busy to bring coffee. It's as if they receive different training! Very disappointed with the service at lunch time today . Our office crew went to celebrate Dr's day with our doctors and turn out to be a horrible experience, first of all the server took a long time to bring our salad and did not even bring the breadsticks until we asked her to bring them then to order was also a while before she took it, also when she got back my plate landed upside down on the table and on myself it was a pretty upsetting situation it burned me but i was more worried about everyone else getting it on themselves. Manger was aware of the situation since we had already called her before to let her know service was slow. Manager did apologize but did not offer any other resolution so with that said our office crew will never go back again!! read more

Some of the managers that answer customers about complains by phone are Very Rude in answering the customers concern of the quality of their sauces by telling them to go somewhere else so they don't call or bother them again. Orders by phone are not correctly filled as requested and paid for. So some managers simply told us to go elsewhere or their other sister restaurant. Instead of correcting the situation. At times they offer a gift card and they never come thru with the gift cards. I've gone into restaurant and place order and they still mess up with the wrong item or sauces that they offer. So today we went to Olive Garden and we were there with a table of 7 celebrating my nieces 8th birthday! When we walked in, we were greeted by the hostess Zoe who was very nice and helped us set up for the little birthday dinner we were having! Our waitress was great as well! She always made sure we had everything we needed and she always made sure the birthday dinner was going well! We ordered some mozzarella sticks and fried ravioli as an appetizer. They were gone in 2 seconds lol. As an entree, I got the baked ziti. My gf got the cheese raviolis. My nephew got the kids spaghetti and my niece got pasta with shrimp. Over all, everything was delicious. The employees came back and sang happy birthday to my niece which was great! Thank you Olive Garden Sunland for giving my niece a great birthday experience. It's been a few years since I've been to this specific Olive Garden location. A friend treated me to lunch the other day. It took about 15 minutes to be seated. There was a few people waiting before us. The hostess was nice. The waitress we had was mostly nice and polite. She didn't check on us to see if we needed drink refills during our time there. I was going to ask her for one but I didn't since we were almost leaving. I ordered from the lunch menu. They offer this menu between 11 am and 3 pm Monday-Friday. I had the lunch size portion of lasagna. Our meal also came with breadsticks and salad. Overall, everything tasted fresh. I always like adding cheese to anything I order like salad and pasta. I think the lasagna was a bit too salty. It was really filling, though! I wasn't that hungry after eating at OG later during the day. I would come back especially for lunch since it costs less. The portions are also smaller but that's perfectly fine for me. The regular menu is also available during lunch. If you purchase a regular entree, you can purchase some for $5 more to take home. My friend ordered pasta with alfredo sauce and shrimp. She said it was good. The total was $35 for We had a pretty good experience! read more

The dishes are always there and although they are working still on a limited menu the ones we were looking to have were available. We started with their salad and soup. I got the chicken n gnocci and the Fagioli. Both were good. The salad felt as if though was frozen a bit and didnt thaw out in time. The food and breadsticks were good tho, my partner had the chicken amd shrimp carbonara and i went with the tour of italy. Pretty hard to mess the tour of italy up and fortunately the chicken was nice and crunchy and not soggy like other times. The carbonara plate as always was really good! Seemed to be missing some salt but OG is known to underseason as to not alienate too many palates. Worst experience ever. We went in and it took 20 min to get drinks. Our salad arrived no breadsticks. My salad had a bit of the bottom end of the tomato. The spinach artichoke dip was lukewarm and tasted freezer burnt . My entree was supposedly a mushroom cream sauce ...it was watered down alfredo with 3 raw mushroom pieces in it. Haven't been to Olive Garden in years and decided to give it a go last night. My husband and I had a great experience. We both had not eaten there in so long had not a clue of what to order. Our waiter "Sonny" was extremely helpful in suggesting entrees, appetizers, and desert when it came time. The food was amazing and of course the salad and breadsticks were as always super great. The service was superior to most service recently received at other establishments. We had a great night and we were very happy with our choices. The friendly and attentive bartenders will take excellent care of your dining needs. I started my dinner with the green apple sangria- it was sweet and delicious; the had fresh strawberries sliced into it and was so good. I went for the pasta and bean soup- also very good. I had the spaghetti with traditional marinara sauce and a side of meatballs (3). The pasta was fresh and the sauce was great...but I would make my meatballs a little differently. By 11 Pm, I was violently expelling everything in the bathroom. The next 48 hours was horrible. I skipped lunch and ate nothing else. It had to be the food here. Maybe it was a fluke; a one time thing. My wife and daughter were fine but ate other dishes. I've eaten here before and everything went fine. It seems as though they are making baby steps to offering healthier options for those trying to watch their carb intake, as we try to do. And they are more than happy to make substitutions of more veggies in place of pasta, which is always good. However, I was still a bit disappointed with one thing I asked for that they couldn't do. They have a new dish that includes a mix of spiralized zucchini and whole wheat linguine. I asked if I could just get the zucchini without the linguine, but it comes pre-packaged as a pair, so they couldn't do it for me. The service was great, as usual, but it can be frustrating to not have true low-carb options when wanting to eat out at Italian restaurants. Their soup and salad is great, but it would be nice to have more options to choose from. Oh well, we have to keep asking for what we want, otherwise those new items will never show up. read more
