I know that sometimes people like to trash Olive Garden but we had a nice experience on this particular visit. It was cold and rainy outside, so I opted for soup and breadsticks. I had a bowl of chicken gnocchi and one of zuppa toscana and both were wonderful! It hit the spot. My kids got kids meals and portion size were great and they said they tasted great too. We also ordered a chocolate lasagna. My son absolutely loves that they do the white chocolate shavings tableside. It is his favorite part of Olive Garden now. Our only negative? Recently grabbed a "To Go" order for my kiddo's play date and glad I did! The meal says like 4 but it could feel like 8. Breadsticks were great! Salad was fresh and came with a bottle of salad dressing! Per ordered spaghetti with meat sauce and perfect for kiddos and adults! Plus came with Parmesan cheese and plenty of mints. Great price for a lot of food! Now the "To Go" packaging gets a 5 ! Everything was packed so well and it was a lot crammed in that bag. The food here is good and really consistent. My kids like to go here and have fun. Tonight was a different experience as I had a server (name started with an A-don't want to give her full name) and she was not great from the start. I asked for just a salad. She was confused by what I said and wanted to know if I wanted the endless salad and bread sticks. I said no just a small salad would do. All food was brought out and after the main entrees were brought out one was delayed and not brought with the others. No big deal. "A" finally came back and asked if everything was alright. I told her I did not get my salad. She said that was the endless salad and that everyone could have that. I re stated that wasn't what I want and she got combative. I asked if she would just take it off my bill. She walked away frustrated. Her manager came back add was very apologetic but also said that profanity was used and that was not acceptable. I agreed and told him I never used profanity. All the people at my table were shocked! He apologized again (something "A" never did) and adjusted our bill. We told him we appreciated it and gladly paid and even left "A" a tip, which I didn't think she deserved. Hopefully this was just a one-off experience and not something that the management of Olive Garden allows or experience. On September 5, 2025, I ordered Olive Garden delivery for $67 which included a generous tip. Two hours later the order was cancelled -not by me - with no food delivered. I called Olive Garden Franklin and spoke with a manager named Gabby. Gabby said Uber cancelled the order but had picked up my food from the restaurant. Gabby said this theft was occurring regularly with Uber. I asked another meal be sent to me. Gabby said this was not possible and that I must place another online order and pay yet again to have food delivered to my house. Of course, I did no such thing. Gabby offered minimal apologies, and said she would be sure to mail a gift certificate to me. It took five business days to receive a refund from my bank. Three weeks Iater, have received no gift certificate nor any follow up communication from Olive Garden or Uber. I want consumers to be aware of this pitiful experience. I recommend consumers support locally-owned restaurants and businesses where this type of problem doesn't occur. First off, it is what it is. A lot of people make fun of people for eating Olive Garden but this was a staple of my 20's. I always try to go to the location that is near me on Bell Rd. But I never can get in because its so popular. I figured I would do an "old person" move and show up here at 4PM. Also this location seems to be nicer. Zero wait at all and I was seated at a booth quietly in a nook. It was New years Eve and that may have contributed to it being not so busy. Friendly staff greeted me and I ordered the Chicken Alfredo with the soup option instead of salad. I always LOVE their salad but this time I did something different. I was not aware the salad and soup was unlimited! I was way too full to take the waitress up on her offer of another bowl of soup but this is amazing. The entrees average about $20 each but I am thinking you could make away pretty easy of you get a light entrée or appetizer like calamari and fill up on the soup or salad. Tremendous value for money. I considered this visit a treat to myself for working so hard and I cleaned the plate. The pasta was cooked just right and the chicken was flavorful and had a bit of crispiness to the outside. Just like from my memory, they grind the parmesan (not sure if its genuine or not) but the friendliness and attentiveness really made me happy. We had 10 ladies crowded around the round table (by request) and our waitress was wonderful to stretch her arms to reach us all efficiently. She was great! Back in the day, I visited another Olive Garden far, far away. It was pretty scuzzy. so, I wondered, would this Olive Garden be the same? NO!! We were greeted when we entered and were taken right to the place where our Church group was sitting. When we had all settled in, our freshly baked bread sticks arrived and our server, Eshak,took our orders. Mine was the Chicken Alfredo and my wife chose the herb grilled salmon. My chicken was perfectly cooked. I was expecting my Alfredo sauce to be more creamy than what was served. Also,it was slightly on the bland side. My soup, the Zuppa Toscana, seemed a bit thin, but that may have been Olive Garden's recipe. My dessert was their chocolate brownie lasagna. One word described it- decadent. Think...eight layers of chocolate brownies and vanilla cream cheese. Plus, rivulets of chocolate had been drizzled down the sides. The count was 910 calories & 103 grams of sugar...and worth every one of them. Now to rate this Olive Garden. The service, from when we entered to when we left, was first rate. The only reason I give it a two star is because of the efforts of a young lady who relieved our inept server to actually provide us with service. When we walked in the front door there were 4 individuals chattering and cutting up. Once seated we waited at least 10 minutes to even be acknowledged. Then we get a young man who comes up to us and says "I'm Terrell what can I get you." With an attitude of we were blessed to be in his presence and he was willing to show up for work this day. When he comes he just places the drinks on the table which are wrong and walks away. Not to be seen again. There was a young lady who walked past us 3 times that we were able get her attention and was kind enough to take over our table and get the manager to handle the situation. Look I am not a big complainer, I know what it is like to be in the service industry as I have worked in the service industry nearly my entire life. But with the economy socking it to Americans wallets it is even more important for you to provide excellent service to make customers feel like they are actually getting something of value for spending 3 times as much as it would cost them for the same meal at home and add a tip on top of that. read more

We love Olive Garden, however, tonight's meal was most disappointing. When our waiter brought the salad, the bowl was only half full. I immediately commented that would not be enough for us. The waiter offered to bring us another bowl, but then not come back until we were almost through with our dinner. I ordered chicken Alfredo because I wanted to get more protein in my diet. When the chicken arrived, it did not taste nor feel like chicken, I believe it must be processed with an additional sodium solution injected. The breadsticks were over salted. Wow. It's a real rush down the ratings curve into the valley of despair. Olive Garden's corporate Yelp monitor replied (thank you,) but with a boilerplate response highlighting the company's absolute lack of clue. This restaurant location is serving what the company has mandated. It's doing what it's supposed to do. Pardon my rant, and I don't usually kick puppies, but...jeez! It's unlikely I'm going waste giving the chain another chance at ANY location! Core issues are coming from well beyond the local restaurant and there are simply too many competitors doing a better job. My primary complaint was unfortunate changes to the menu. The boiler plate requests: 1) my full name...isn't that in my profile? Yes. Yes, I believe it is; 2) the restaurant location so they can direct me to the correct contact for assistance. Wow...wow! Yelp reviews are directly tied to specific locations being reviewed. (exasperated sigh) Franchise and company-owned restaurants use company-made menus pushing company-made recipes often prepared in centralized company kitchens (ensuring product consistency.) It's plain old you either like 'em or you don't. And customer service wishes to get my complaint to the right department so it can correct the individual location. Wow. Goodbye OG. My coworkers and I made our way to the new "OG" two days after it opened. Even though it was a weekday lunch during Williamson County spring break, we knew there might be a crowd... and sure enough, it was nearly impossible to find a parking space. They definitely need more space for their employees and customers to park! But even though the parking lot was packed, the wait was only 15 minutes for a party of three; that said, we opted to sit right away for service at the bar. We all ordered some kind of lunch special with unlimited breadsticks and soup or salad. I had the mini spaghetti bowl with mine, part of a combo. I really liked the food, and the portions were adequate (even though the little pasta bowl was teeny) because of the unlimited other stuff. It's on par with any other Olive Garden, and it's brand new. So if you like Olive Garden, you'll be happy with this new spot. Service was pretty good, though there were times we did have to wait a minute for more breadsticks or refills. You could tell they're learning to communicate who's grabbing what/when. But everyone was super friendly and working out the kinks! I do wonder if the parking situation will improve when the staff goes down to normal numbers. I have a feeling they have a lot of trainers and extra folks on hand right now that won't be there later. I recommend approaching it from Bakers Bridge instead of Moores Lane because that left turn into the restaurant could be tricky with traffic. I also noticed a separate To-Go pickup area and parking which would be great for grabbing meals on the way home to feed your family! I will be back to the OG, because, well, it's the OG. You can't beat paying around $7 for a full service lunch special before tax. If you're looking for authentic Italian, go to Mangia. For delicious housemade pasta, hit up Pastaria. I love them. Went here on the night of prom which also happens to be the weekend of The Draft. After being on the online waitlist for over an hour I walked into the packed restaurant and got seated immediately. Amazing customer service. The first thing the waitress asked us was "are you guys going to prom? What's your time frame for being here so I can make your experience as efficient as possible". Which was so courteous! Brought lots of breadsticks and salad for my party of 6 and just kept 'em comin'! So impressed by the waiting staff. I ordered off the appetizer menus for a smaller dish. When it came out before the rest of the food, the manager was very apologetic for their confusion and offered to take it back and make me a new plate to be delivered when the rest of my parties food was brought out.
