Have never been let down before. Arrived and was told we would be seated in a second after male at the counter said he needed to go find a server. He then sat us at a booth directly across from someone already being served. The server we were supposed to have was taking their bills, so we leave the situation be because we understand juggling multiple tables at much can be overwhelming. However, we then waited almost 30 minutes even after hitting the 'call server' button on the tablet at the table. We were not even 10 feet from every server on shift, they all sat at the bar and paid zero attention. I don't drink liquor or wine, but since I was celebrating my pre-birthday, I decided to order a moscato apple sangria. My Husband didn't drink beer last night, so he had Bellini peace tea. Than we ordered appetizers. I love calamari, so I ordered that. My husband ordered spinach dip. He doesn't like calamari. I ate 3 pieces and it was still a lot left. We also had bread sticks and salad. We ordered dinner, and barely touched it. I had salmon with broccoli, and my husband had seafood Alfredo and added scallops. I added grilled shrimp, but they weren't grilled or seasoned well. We both tasted the rest of food, and the food was seasoned perfect. I also received free dessert, of my choice. I really enjoy coming to Olive Garden, it's usually convenient and has good service. The foods also usually great! Unfortunately these past few time have been horrible. Eva E was my server she came to the table a total of 3 times. 1. Drink order 2. Order food 3. Deliver food. She also overcharged for the togo order but I let it go. After I looked at my togo salad it was just all messed up and NOWHERE near what I asked for. Stopped by this location for a quick lunch in Lasalle Illinois after going to charge up my car. My friend had the eggplant parmigiana which she said was very good. I had the soup, salad and breadsticks lunch. Our server was fantastic. We had asked her to add a few extra olives and peppers to our salad so my friend and I wouldn't fight over just the couple they normally only throw in there. Not sure why they always load up the salad with a ton of croutons but then scrimp on the good stuff, but it's like that at all Olive Gardens. We also ordered the never ending Alfredo sauce for our breadsticks. My friend would use up almost the whole bowl on just one breadstick. I asked why the gave such a big bowl but then only put in a tiny amount and was told that there's another person who fills these up and that's all they're allowed to put in. It seems for the 4.99 they charge for the sauce they could fill it full but our server was more than happy to keep bringing the refills. At the end our server noticed I barely touched the chicken and gnocchi soup I ordered and asked if something was wrong. I just let her know that I normally only order just the salad and breadsticks so while the soup was good I was too full to be able to eat it. What was suppose to be a great day for my daughter's birthday ended in shambles. First off, we asked for a mango smoothie which tasted vile I could have had a better mango smoothie for half the price at McDonald's. We went to this Olive Garden after reading some negative reviews because it's still Olive Garden. Unlike what we read, we had exceptional service from Ann. We were met with a smile and seated right away and our waitress, Ann, came right over to greet us and tell us about the specials. The food was good. Hot, fresh and quick. Our waitress even brought all of us a second glass if soda each and told us that she didn't know if she wouldn't be busy later when we may have needed refills. I thought that was really nice. She even brought my son a frozen dessert because he didn't want to eat it at the restaurant and she told us frozen would ensure it doesn't melt before we get home to put it in the fridge. I'm giving this place the highest rating based on the food met expectations however , the service far exceeded them. I don't mean to be corny but we were treated like family. Waited for 30 minutes before being seated. There was a gal with wine samples to try while we waited. I thought this was a plus to help kill the time. Angel seated us and our server was very polite. Rushed, but polite. The soup was hot and salad plentiful. My son tried one of each soup. They were all hot and he enjoyed them all. Breadsticks can make or break the meal as well. There are a few reasons for eating at Olive Gardens. Location and convenience are the only reasons I can think of. They are consistently poor places to eat pasta, the seafood is worse or the same quality as Red Lobster, and whoever came up with the bread sticks should be working at Duncan Doughnuts. The kids that wait tables are the shining stars of the operation. Must be enough table turnover to make a pocket full of tips. When we are on the road, the Old Lady and I might have a salad and soup, and maybe a glass of the house red. The rest of the menu is seriously over priced, and most times over salted, and/or over cooked. If you can take the time to find a Mom and Pop, you'll enjoy better Italian food, but sometimes you can't, and that's when we stop at Olive Garden. On the other hand, overpriced slop in a food court atmosphere appeals to lots of folks, so if that's the case belly up to the bar and strap on the old feed bag! read more

Stopped in while out shopping, typical 20 minute wait, thats fine, we get the call to come in and get our table, we sit down and are promptly forgotten. Waited 10 minutes before we just got up and left. Appalling service, didn't even come by to get a drink order. And the rest of the staff is equally at fault. We had turned on the call server light on the table entertainment unit and easily a half dozen servers and bussers passed us and didnt even attempt to reassure us that our server would be right out. I've worked several years in food service, and if I or one of my coworkers ever treated customers that poorly, we would have been out on our ear. Olive Garden is still Olive Garden the food and flavor is a little bland and watered down as to appeal to the masses, that being said if you are looking for an Italian restaurant in the area you will not find many alternatives aside from Lou's LaGratto. The food was extremely salty and tasted very processed. Nothing was of a fresh tasting quality. We usually go for soup, salad and breadsticks but everything was so salty it was difficult to eat. Very large restaurant can hold probably 500 persons. That's about the only good thing. Oh also our server Rebecca very nice and did her best but really this is beyond her control. We got the chicken and gnocchi soup - it was awful. No gnocchi and very little chicken, very thin not creamy at all, and a oil slick on top. Usually it's very good at the OG we occasion in Md, Va, Fl. So very odd. Even after we told the waitress and she replaced making a note to ensure there is gnocchi in the new one it still was bad. We weren't the only table with issues with the kitchen I noticed as the table to our right sent back their appetizer and when one member ordered a gluten or veggie type meal it was wrong - it had cheese even though we heard her tell the server no cheese. It also had the wrong sauce. Then they forgot her chicken, so they bring the chicken then come back to take the pasta but leave the chicken plate - so fast forward ten minutes later they bring her the correct dish but the whole time the chicken had sat there so it was cold now. You could see her hesitation when adding it to the new correct dish. The server, the waitress, the manager none of them who came to her table ever removed or took back the chicken so it would then come out with the rest of the correct dish so her whole meal would be hot and fresh. Also her dinner companions politely waited to eat till she had her dish and none of the staff/manager when at the table offered to reheat or keep theirs warm. That's just common sense people - good service - the golden rule and such. We both also got the chicken Alfredo and that was good, no complaints, tasted the same as it does at the other locations we have been too. There is a noise level issue, it was a Saturday night about 7pm and it was half full but it was like I was in a sports stadium. It was deafening! My mom took out her hearing aids it was so loud. People were not shouting but definitely talking very loudly so they could be heard by their table mates. Some kind of dampening needs to be done to soften it a little. I don't expect quiet or even low voices, just not to have to bring ear plugs with me. Also their was about every ten minutes or so a really loud obnoxious yell from the kitchen "ORDER UP"! Why is it necessary for the whole restaurant to hear that. We were in the back and if we could hear it I can't imagine how loud it was for the front of house/bar area. Do what other large restaurants do, have servers bring the food when ready vs the waiters/waitresses, or have a number beep system or something. And it's not the staff issue cause when they were not needed at the tables for refills or food they stood in a line outside the kitchen facing out to the dining room like they were in the military getting ready for inspection! read more

To be specific, we've had problems with OG's at other places, BUT one could always depend upon (1) great soup, (2) great salad, & (3) great breadsticks. The minestrone soup was a pile of beans, with a sprinkling of other veggies, & little broth. One of our group pointed out the condition of the "soup," & she brought a bowl of broth, & took the veggies. ("To hell" with the rest of us.) The salad was basically lettuce & onion, with little dressing. (3) The breadsticks were eatable, but basically void of butter. WE TRIED THEM, but they don't try !!! read more

This was my FAVORITE place. About 4 months ago, a friend and i went to olive garden. The waitor took 20 minutes just to come and get our drinks another 10 minutes to bring them. Then when we finally got our food. He filled up my sprite with water(which is somewhat understandable it looks like water) but if he was paying attention to us. He would known. I had food in my mouth and i told him "one second" when he ask if there was anything else. Then was looking EVERYWHERE besides us and took him 25 to even get back to us. About 2 months ago, i again went to same Olive Garden, again this WAS my favorite place. The waitress was super nice everyone forgets some things. But forgot our plates, for salad took about 10 minutes for her to get it, i ask for breadsticks because there amazing! And extra alfredo sauce(dip for the breadsticks) then our food finally came. There was BARELY any sauce on the chicken alfredo so id thought id be alright with my dipping sauce, it still was not enough, so i ask the waitress if i could get more since there was barely any sauce, which she came back with a dipping cup BARELY half full of alfredo.. my friend could see the disappointment on my face.
