I haven't been here in more than a decade and it brought back memories. I came here for a quick bite during a short lunch break and it had what I wanted. Soup. I needed something hot because I was trying to get over being sick and nothing is better than bottomless (whatever you want, in my case ... ) soup. I ordered the unlimited soup and salad and instantly felt bad when the whole bowl of salad came out and knew I wasn't going to make a dent in it. Luckily they let me take it to go and I just got 2 bowls of soup before I had to take off for work again. Breadsticks: 1 star. Barely any butter and the garlic or whatever was on top wasn't enough to even taste it. I was practically eating flavorless bread, so that was really disappointing. Amazing Experience! We went on a Saturday afternoon and there was no wait. We were seated in the back and Johnny, our server, greeted us right away. He did a great job on filling our orders correctly and quickly. We were not in a hurry at all so it was fun to joke around with Johnny. My mom made a "yuck face" after sipping her iced tea and Devin came to her rescue. I had no idea Devin was paying attention to us until he approached the table and asked if everything was alright. From that moment on, we stayed in his business. We had a fun time. Oh, I removed all the croutons and red onions from the first salad and Devin noticed. When I requested a second salad with the dressing on the side, it also came without the croutons or sliced onions. WOW! Attention to detail at its finest. Our meals were delicious as always. Re: Olive Garden restaurant in Brazos Town Crossing, 24221 Southwest Freeway, Rosenberg, TX 77471 I ordered delivery and accept that the quality would not be as good as dining in a restaurant. I their ordered their calamari, Tour of Italy (Chicken Parmigiana, Lasagna Classico, and their signature Fettuccine Alfredo, and the $6 spaghetti availiable if the customer orders an entree. The calamari was pretty good after I warmed and crisped it in the air fryer. The spaghetti satisfied my yen for that dish, but it wasn't an outstanding dish. The meat sauce was a little bland. I was disappointed in the Tour of Italy. The Lasagna Classico was okay, but the Chicken Parmigiana was dry and, in my opinion, tasteless. Becaise it is topped with marinara and Italian cheese, it isn't a good candidate for the air frier, but that surely would have made the meat drier. I didn't eat it. The alfredo had a terrific flavor. While the hot items came to me pretty much at room temperature, the alfredo was actually cold, like it had just come from the refrigerator. we ordered a pasta w soup and an extra soup, we ordered the peach raspberry tea and a Dr Pepper. The tea tasted like flavored water, tried to order a Dr Pepper instead, it never came out. I ended up sharing with my bf the remainder of the meal. We never received our extra soup, thankfully we weren't charged. The chicken on the pasta was rubbery and hard to chew. Our server was running around like a chicken with their head cut off. Appeared to be in the weeds and no one came to her aid. Felt bad but honestly service was not up to par today. Chairs were stacked on the tables already and the tablet kiosk did not have a battery. We got there around 8:15 and left just before 9. They don't close till 10, kinda hard to enjoy a meal when the restaurant looks closed and the server is struggling with what appeared to be 3 maybe 4 tables. Heard the table next to us complain quite a few times about wrong orders too. I had a pretty big to-go order this past weekend. They did an such an amazing job with my order that I had to write a glowing review. They went above and beyond to make my order extra special with adding in enough condiments to make sure we were all taken care of. It was packed beautifully but the most important part was that all of the food was piping hot, labeling perfectly and tasted absolutely delicious! Hair in the food! We gave this place a few chances after finding hair in the food and it happened again. I went there this past weekend they burned my food by mistake and got me out a new fresh plate and didn't charge me. I didn't even have to ask. My family decided to try Olive Garden again, since my sis raved about this location. We ordered takeout for dinner. On this visit, I didn't really like that they limited the amount of breadsticks we were allowed to get. We ordered a good amount of food, and another bag of breadsticks would be nice. What happened to their motto, "When you're here, your family." Well, this family member wants more breadsticks. Anyway, we ordered their Asiago Tortelloni Alfredo with Grilled Chicken and their Create your own pasta. The tortellini was good. But, it wasn't as flavorful as I'd like. The chicken that went with was seasoned well and moist. For my create your own pasta, I picked angel hair pasta with mushroom cream sauce and additional Italian sausage. I only realized when I got home that they skimped me on one Italian sausage. There was only one in my order and I was supposed to get two. On top of that, the Italian sausage was too salty. For an extra $4, the Italian sausage wasn't worth it. On the other hand, the mushroom cream sauce with angel hair pasta was the bomb. The sauce was creamy, nutty, and fragrant. I would order just the pasta and sauce again without meat. I can just bake some Johnsonville sausages at home, and make a meal out of it without the extra expense. The garlic bread that came with the entrees was stale. But, the flavor was good. The zuppa toscana was pretty good, although there were more potatoes and kale than sausages. Overall, my takeout experience was ok. Next time, I'll just get the angel hair pasta with mushroom cream sauce sans meat, and the Asiago tortellini pasta. read more

First entered and water close to 30 mins for table. Decided to go to bar to get drink and waited 8 mins before bartender showed up. Got seated at table and waited literally 15 minutes before I decided to get up and ask for manager. Tiffany the GM spoke with me and was very respectful and understanding. Right away she got a server for us and even comped our 2 appetizers which was very nice of her. Veronica our new server was very great and helpful. All the food was great with no issues. It has been several years since I've been to Olive Garden. I had been watching the buy-one, take-on, commerical and commercials work well on me. As we pulled into the Brazo Town Center location, I was grateful a handicap parking space was available. Olive Garden always has several handicap parking spaces close to the door and curb cut-outs. As we entered we were greeted by a very pleasant young lady. We were immediately seated at a nearby booth since it was only 3:00 p.m. The atmosphere is nice and usually adequately staffed for a crowd. I wish I could remember our servers name because she was fantastic!! She had several other larger tables but was still very attentive and professional. I made a mistake by not asking for details on the buy-one, take-one. There are limited meals this promo comes with. My mother's Shrimp Scampi was on the list with an additional $4 for the shrimp. My meal was not on the take-one meal. I should have asked before we ordered; lesson learned. I love Olive Garden's soups, salad and breadsticks, especially for lunch. We ordered a Spinach Artichoke Dip as an appetizer. We both really enjoyed the creamy spinach and large chunks of artichoke. The toasted bread was a perfect accompaniment. The 5- cheese dipping sauce was very rich and cheesey with our breadsticks. We usually order the Alfredo sauce for breadstick dipping but decided to try the 5-cheese which we'd order again. Mother ordered the Shrimp Scampi since she's a huge shrimp fan but not so much a pasta fan. She enjoyed the shrimp and tried a tiny bit of pasta; no fault of Olive Garden. Others enjoyed the leftover pasta. I ordered the Chicken Picatta served with parmesan-crusted zucchini. The tender chicken had the perfect amount of lemon garlic butter and wasn't floating in sauce. The sun-dried tomatoes and capers were a nice blend of flavors with the lemon garlic butter sauce. The parmesan crusted zucchini was a first for me. I was pleasantly surprised with the crisp-tender zucchini topped with lightly toasted breadcrumbs. The leftovers even heated up well. The Pasta e Fagioli is our go to soup with the red and white beans with tomatoes, ground beef and tubetti shaped pasta. The hearty Chicken and Gnocchi or the Zuppa Toscana is a favorite in the winter time for me as well. After the Spinach Artichoke dip, the breadsticks with dipping sauce and the Pasta e Fagioli soup, we were full even before our entrees arrived. We made a valiant effort but honestly didn't make much of a dent in our meals. Our wonderful server had already boxed up our soup and breadsticks, and now our entrees. You'd think we'd know to stop now but my Mother had never had Tiramisu. After I explained it was sponge cake soaked in coffee with chocolate and mascarpone cheese, she had to try. So once again, our patient server boxed up dessert to-go. My Mother said after trying a few hours later that she'd go back to Olive Garden for the Tiramisu alone!! Everyone leaves stuffed but we definitely over did this trip. Good food, pleasant atmosphere and excellent service will bring us back to the Brazo Town Center location. read more

I think it's been about 3 years since I've been to an Olive Garden and that's because of the negative experience I had at the Sugar Land location. It was so awful that I vowed never to set foot in that location ever again. So this afternoon when my wife was trying to decide on a place for us to eat lunch she suggested the Olive Garden and I immediately refused. However she said, "let's try the one in Rosenberg!". She had been watching these ads about lunch specials so after a bit of coaxing I finally caved in. We had been to this location before but I remembered the same thing...that the experience was less than exciting but not as bad as Sugar Land. It was probably a few years ago as well. First thing I noticed as I walked in was the "non-smiling...non engaging hosts..". Not sure what it is with the younger generation but it seems like a lot of these chain restaurants hire the most surly young people. I had the same experience recently at a Saltgrass. First thing I notice about a business is the attitude and smiles and just this past year...I have not been impressed with places like this. My wife noticed this as well. However once we were seated we had a nice young man named Godwin attend us and he made this experience at Olive Garden a very nice one for us. He smiled. Was polite. Answered our questions about the menu, and brought out our food promptly. He also refilled our drinks..asked us how everything was and removed our plates after we finished. One of the better service experiences I have had in a while! Plus he was busy with 3 other tables in his station, but was very attentive to all from what I noticed! This is why I'm giving this location 4 stars! Ask for Godwin if you go. He's a really nice young man! The food was good...and the lunch specials are a good deal! I ordered a catering dish from them last night and picked it up today. It was the make your own pasta bar for 6 people. I picked up curbside so no getting out of car. They brought it out and put in my car. The guy that helped us was so nice. The food was amazing. They had everything labeled and it was very generous quantities of everything. We also got a piece of the chocolate lasagna dessert and it was delicious and enough for two. I will definitely be ordering from there again! All my guests loved it too. read more

As always, the first impression I get is that the restaurant is very adequately staffed. Plenty to easily take care of the patrons. They do so with great professionalism and friendliness. The food is almost secondary. I had stopped going to Olive Garden because the one near me at the time was not satisfactory. The food was very salty...everything. The staff was frenzied and couldn't pay attention to our needs. This location rocks. The end New visit. What a complete shocker. Total letdown. Waiter so inattentive. Not the norm here. My grandson had to pile up our salad dishes to make room. Drinks are empty. Asked for breadsticks three times from 3 different people including the manager. Unlimited salad? Nope. We were practically licking the empty bowl. Woohoo. One drink filled but they empty glass remains. Still waiting for our meals. This has been a very unhappy experience so far. Not impressed as my past experiences have left me. We are in a corner booth and completely forgotten. Our waiter appears oblivious to us. I am very very displeased. Guess I will have to find another "go to". The best thing about this place was the customer service. New visit: i think that we must have sadly been given the waiter as mentioned above. There is not much to say about Olive Garden. It's just your generic chain "italian" restaurant. We had a huge party, and they were kind enough to separate the checks with ease. Food is just, a-ok. Nothing too exciting. Everyone had a choice of unlimited soup or salad + breadsticks. Breadsticks were salty. Salad was meh. The chicken & gnocci soup was tolerable. The downside was that my main dish came out cold, like the plate was so cold, the food was cold. Also, lacking in sauce. My pasta was pretty dry. I did like the option that I could make my own pasta dish, by choosing pasta, sauce, and topping. Like I said, it's just your chain restaurant. Did a Carside Pickup. Ordered through online this morning had to placed the pick up time at 5:30pm after work. When I got there at 5:26 I called the number on the sign. A girl greeted me and didn't even ask for order number or what so ever. Then after few minutes a guy approached the car with a clip board asking the name so I gave my name. I think they should ask the name and order number while doing this. Waited and waited like 20-25 mins no one give us the food. I decided to call again they said it's coming out! But nothing came. So we decided to go inside to go and get it. And complained. They made their excuse blah blah. And ended getting our food from the inside. They need be good with this card side pick up thing or else you will wait longer. read more

Lost my business at this location. Server that was new kept questioning my order and making excuses for what I initially ordered. I asked for crushed red peppers in my pasta and they handed me crushed red peppers and made the mistake of not remaking the order. They said they couldn't make it because they don't anymore when I have ordered that before. Simple mistake and easy to fix but they simply didn't care to cater to the customers order. Sad that this location snd the servers don't give any effort at all. Complete laziness and frankly no care in the world to getting what the customer wants and standing up for a simple mistake. Oh wow. This is not Olive Garden. There is no way. The entrance floor was wet like they'd sprung a leak and were mopping it up. The booth was so small no one was comfortable and we had to move to a table. The table they set us at.......the picture above the table had mold growing on it. Mold. On the picture. And not a small amount. And it looked like someone had either thrown their drink against the wall, or the roof was leaking, but either way, it hadn't been cleaned up. The other wall decor had spit balls stuck to it. The bread sticks tasted like they were made yesterday. The salad was old. It was so sad. Guess it's true what they say. She gave me a close to 35 minute pick up time because they were short staffed. I was in a rush and asked if there was anyway it could be ready in a faster timeframe. She said she would try. I got there more than 10 mins earlier than advised and IT WAS READY! Melissa cashed me out and was so polite! Great service and my salad was the bomb! I am so disappointed for the service. I was waiting for an hour and many groups came after me got the table. The host added me in the waiting list with my phone number but I never get any notification from her. Meanwhile, she saw me and my husband sit at the waiting bench for long but she never come to check!!! What a service, it detroyed my dinner and I feel so upset.
