When we got to the restaurant, we were told there would be a 5-10 minute wait, but we sat down for not even a minute when a hostess came and told us our table was ready. For a Saturday afternoon the week before Christmas, although it was busy, it was still a very warm and inviting atmosphere. Abigail was our dedicated waitress, and she was AWESOME! I know Olive Garden's motto has for quite a while been 'when you're here, your family,' but Abigail really made the motto a reality. Very attentive and anticipatory, as well as professional, courteous, friendly, and efficient. For appetizers we had the lasagna fritta, which were delectable and yummy. My fiancé had the Lasagna Classico for her entree, and I had the stuffed Chicken Marsala. Although I absolutely loved my dish, and it was quite filling and tasty, I was lusting after her lasagna - the cheese was so gooey and caramelized. For dessert, she had the strawberry cream cake which she raved about (we actually had to come back later to get another slice because she allowed her baby boy to take her slice), and I had the Sicilian cheesecake, which was far better than I could've ever imagined. Now I LOVE cheesecake, but I never had one with a shortbread cookie crust, and that buttery and slightly salty crust played so well with the delicious filling that I was in heaven! We were seated 10 minutes after arriving, which wasn't too bad considering it was at dinner time. However we waited like another 10 minutes for our actual waiter to come over and take our order (we ordered our drinks and food all at the time same time) and almost another 10 for our drinks and breadsticks to arrive, which was shortly followed by the soup and salads. The salad didn't taste fresh at all, had some not good looking pieces, and was very light on the dressing, but we were all more looking forward to our entrees the most. After the soup and salads came by... this lady, who I am assuming was the manager, stopped by our table and apologized for interrupting but asked us if our waiter asked if we wanted more salad at the same time he brought the salad... I thought that was odd to ask, since we wouldn't have even touched the salad yet when being asked and wouldn't necessarily know at that time if we wanted more lol (we didn't, so if we said yes that would've been a waste). She said it's something they do so people don't have to wait longer for more, which I found hilarious/interesting considering how long it took for us to finally be able to order and then get our drinks. They never asked if we wanted more breadsticks though, which is what we always actually want more of lol They brought our entrees out and gave them to us without removing the soup/salad bowls and salad plates (which made the table extremely overcrowded, even though we stacked it up nicely for them to take away, and brought it to the end of the table). The guy walked away without removing them at all, but came back shortly with cheese to ask us if we wanted it on our pasta... although he only took a salad bowl away after all that. When we were about to start eating our pastas, my sister was mixing the cheese into hers and found a nice long hair in her pasta. It was disgusting. Those of us who got fettuccini, about half of our noodles in our dish were still decently hard and undercooked. This was my first and last time ever coming to this location. I highly do not recommend it at all. I would like to add that we didn't complain or ask for a refund for the dish with the hair in it... god knows we would've been there for far too long waiting for another one and it wasn't worth dealing with. I'd rather take the $20 loss. But for the first time in an extremely long time I didn't tip over 20% like I normally do. Really disappointing. read more

The food was mediocre at best, which is unfortunate because it used to be one of our favorite restaurants to go to. We were a party of 6 adults, one 3-year old, and a 4-month old infant. Our 3-year old grandson's cheese pizza & fries were so hot that we had to box it up to go. The server, Katie, was probably the worst server we've had with any dining experience in a very long time. We felt rushed from the moment we sat down. When we ordered, she assumed we were all going to have salad instead of soup, and didn't bother asking ANY of us which one we preferred. Maybe 10 minutes after our food was brought to the table, Katie brought boxes and bags to the table, and asked if we wanted dessert, signaling that she was ready for us to leave. We had just barely started eating our meals, as the plates were scorching hot when they were brought out, and Katie explicitly said to NOT touch them because the plates were so hot. To top off the awful service, Katie stood behind my husband as he was paying, watching how much he was going to leave for a tip. Not only is that unprofessional and very off-putting, but when she saw that her tip ($25) reflected her level of service, she grimaced and then was very short with us. We always tip 25-30% (Thursday evening, at Texas Roadhouse, we tipped $50 on a bill that was less than $100, for 3 adults and a 4-month old), even if the service isn't great, but Katie proved to be an exception, as she was absolutely AWFUL and unprofessional. We frequent the Warner Robins GA location and are always pleased with the service and the food. I recently tried the 3 meat bucatini and it was delish! Spicy but not overly so, I loved it so much that we went to Olive Garden again last week and I ordered it again, loved it just as much as the first time I ordered it. My husband always orders the same meal as well, the soup and salad, always the Ministrone for him. The soup comes loaded with good veggies and he really enjoys it. We decided to come to the Olive Garden as we needed good food and seating for a large group. We arrived on the Friday of Memorial Day weekend to start a weekend-long celebration for our father's Birthday. Taye was our server and he did an outstanding job. I decided to dine at Olive Garden again because it was so yummy Sunday at the Macon location. Customer service was great here today. I appreciate it, but Macon location has better food hands down. The calamari were good, not great. If you take note of my photos from Macon location on Mother's Day, even the appearance of the calamari in Macon is so much better. They are better battered as well. I had to ask for that spicy ranch sauce, and its flavor did not compare to Macon's Olive Garden either. I would not order these again here. I understand the concept of not overdressing a salad, but the salad was severely underdressed. I had to request more dressing. I had to pick brown lettuce out the mix also. The breadsticks were not soft - slightly tough. The soup was good but not as flavorful as I am used to. I know I am being a tough critic today, but hey, sometimes it's like that. This was the first time I tried the unlimited soup, salad and breadsticks. Honestly I don't know why I've ever tried to get anything else. As far as Italian food goes, Olive Garden is pretty average, but the gnocchi soup combo with breadsticks and salad is pretty legit. Our servers are always really good as well. We normally sit near the bar area and get one of the two same servers almost every time. I'm not a huge OG fan, but my wife has cravings from time to time. Anyway, I am glad that I came. I knocked off one star because the floor always seems to be wet and that is a thing for me. However, the food is always exactly what you'd expect from OG. The wait can get pretty ridiculous during peak times so try to plan accordingly. Unless you have a favorite dish, I recommend the soup, salad, bread trio. I got to my car , and had two employees walk up to me and said "you didn't pay for your food" "I could lose my job for this" "you can't walk out on your tab".. my response "girl, I wouldn't walk out on a table" got out my car, went inside.. I haven't eaten at Olive Garden in a while. What I remember is that while the food was good service was even better. My past experiences are they were operating like a "family " and it made me feel the same. However, the service tonight was slack, confusing and slow. Oh don't get me wrong we are a party of 12 and yes demanding but come on a snails crawl is unacceptable. Our appetizers sat cold while we wait on a simple thing as small plates. One in our party waited a good 30 minutes for her drink. So I take a Pause we have been sitting at least 45 minutes to figure out the check. At first I was told my tick was paid thru the kiosk and the receipt was on the way to me... no receipt. I am disappointed in the service I got today at Olive Garden. Well my party maintained our joy as it was our loved ones 21st birthday and want her to be happy. Well came at 5:30 pm July 21st 2023 and here we sit 7:13 unable to leave because of receipts. Never been to this part of Georgia before so we played it safe and went with a franchise. We only had to wait long enough to out a table together for the five of us even though the place was busy busy. The minestrone soup was flavorful and the shrimp scampi fritta classic appetizer was good but I've never had the sauce on the side before. Usually it's all mixed in already. Either way...it was good. The mozzerella sticks were devoured and the salmon piccata was the bomb. Salmon was done just right. The ravioli ...deelish and the shrimp was tender and juicy. Well I have spent the last few days absolutely stewing about my last experience with Olive Garden in Warner Robins. It was bad enough that I called the manager to report them & I just sent a note to their corporate offices. There is nothing they can do to win me back. I went in to eat over the weekend. I walked in and headed to a booth on the bar area like normal..no one said anything to me when I walked in that indicated you weren't supposed to do this.. as I'm sitting at the table, the bartender looks up and just gives me the dirtiest look.. then she walks over to Hosts desk to say something to them.. obviously upset and still giving me dirty looks. Then She walks off while still giving me dirty looks. Within minutes someone basically told me I'd have to move in a not so nice manner.. I left entirely and went to eat elsewhere. The steakhouse .. everyone was so very nice despite being very busy..2020 has really made people forget their courtesies & manners.
