We don't come often but each time we've come I feel like it's been tough to order. We've gotten the wrong thing both times. The staff was kind and friendly when we dined in but they were out of condiments and certain items, which I understand may not can be helped. The drive through felt rushed and incorrect items were given. The restaurant was clean so that's nice. It was also quite busy for midday so I'm sure that's good. It's ok since we've had the incorrect items both times. The friendlyness and cleanliness are what earn the stars and the quality of food even though it was wrong. Came in for the Napa Valley Almond Chicken Salad Sandwich, and I was not disappointed. The chicken salad is tasty, a bit on the sweet side, but the almonds are an absolute delight. As usual, the coffee was up to Panera's high standards, and I also got a pecan twist since pastries were discounted when I was ordering. Service was quick, friendly, and helpful. The best thing about this Panera Bread is th spacious outside seating and when the bakery is somewhat full of baked goods it just makes you smile. I ordered the Greek salad and a half bowl of chicken soup at the kiosk. I say half because that how much you get in the crazy shaped bowl they serve it in so you don't notice the small amount of soup your getting for $8.00 . They give you a hard day old piece of baguette to know on or dip to soften. I also had a Greek salad which I enjoyed because it was light and nice flavor dressing. Th lettuce had a bit to many old slimy leaves in it but I picked through them. I had this same salad the other day and the lettuce seemed fresher, no picking. The other day I tried the French onion soup and it was ok just kind of bland. I don't particularly like any of the cold drinks of which they have a selection of healthy fresh exotic juice's. The coffee is always week but I guess you could stop at Starbucks before you come if you want stout coffee like me. Lol I just tried the Oatmeal raisin and berries cookie and I'm in oatmeal cookie heaven. Now that's worth coming in for. I promise I'm going back in to buy them all before I go. I wish I could leave zero stars! I am very disgusted with the lack of decorum. A paying customer was being questioned about why he is there all the time. I just witnessed a man getting questioned by the "owner/manager" for being reported as a disturbance, when he's peacefully just sitting there? He's a frequent customer and sometimes takes a nap bc he works third shift to my understanding. Instead of starting the conversation with "hey how are you, I see you are here a lot, I'm glad to see it", he immediately asked the man was he homeless. Making assumptions just because a man is a POC is wrong, and stereotyping your customers based off of 3rd party reports shows just how professional you are as a manager and as an establishment. Slowest Panera drive thru ever!! We were the only car in line at the time and for 2 bagels, regular coffee, and steel-cut oatmeal, it took 15 minutes for us to get our food. While waiting, another car pulled up behind us. I was watching the staff who was preparing our order and I dont know why she was preparing the other car's order along with ours. They ordered a dozen bagels, along with other items, and we just wanted two. Was is maybe possible to have our food first before you work on someone else?? I watched her slice and toast a dozen bagels, while our bag was just sitting on the counter. When I opened bag at 5:30 PM (sandwich was for dinner), found sandwich was not on tomato basil bread but on baguette--something I would not order as it is low in nutrition. Plus sandwich contained a mere smear of tuna. Mostly consisted of white bread for $10+. So will not be going back. Too much of a gamble. She failed to tell us the items we ordered where unavailable until we waited at the window for 10 minutes, then proceeded to tell us to drive around to come back and Re-order or we could have a refund. Wanted some soup and sandwiches for dinner and I knew they had broccoli and cheese soup. The food is good here and they've gone to ordering the food via kiosk due to personnel problems. I have no problem with that. The only problem I have is the prices. I ordered two bowls of soup, one 1/2sandwich and one whole sandwich that was smaller than the 1/2sandwich, three cookies and a Cinnamon Roll which they were out of... It totaled $43. Every time I fill out a survey letting them know the problem and they send an automated message saying someone will contact us. They never do. Nice place to eat at if you're wanting to order soup and salad. I like the French Onion soup it's delicious. The staff here at this Panera Bread location is very nice and friendly. I had an issue with my order being messed up but it was quickly fixed by the manager. Plenty of seating by the fireplace inside of the location and outside as well. I like seating inside next to the fire place it's comfy when it's cold here in Georgia. First try at this location. First of all, as the name would indicate, the bread is good. At least the bread that came with the Creamy chicken and rice soup was. It had a nice crust, was chewy and inside was nice and soft. The soup was good as well. Not salty or too thick and flavor was not overpowering like a lot of cream soups. The sandwich was a Cafe Turkey, had ample meat, and was fresh tasting. The only critiques here were that the tomato was from the very end of the tomato and small. I like a little zest in my mustard and what they called spicy mustard was more like a bland mayo mix. The iced tea was weak and I mixed sweet/unsweet as most are usually too sweet. The sweet tea straight up was just about perfect but still light on tea. Definitely nice to see more upscale sandwich shops coming in to town and I will definitely return for more. This is one of the best places in town too get a fresh salad and bowl of hot soup however if the cashier forgets to ask your name or set the pager you could end up waiting for your food as the other staff attempt to figure out what's going on. My Southwest Chile Chicken Salad did not look like the one in the picture posted in the restaurant however my soup looked appetizing albeit a bit cold from sitting on the counter for so long. I guess that's why they have the microwaves in the restaurant. I arrived at 6:30AM. The only customer in the store and I proceeded to order a toasted bagel, cream cheese, and smoothie. Smoothie came out promptly, however, bagel was MIA. After milling around for 10 mins (now only one of two customers) I inquired about the bagel and was told that my latte would be up soon as they were done cleaning the machine... yup so that was a problem. The online ordering and scheduling curbside pickup process is simple enough. After ordering you select the time of pickup. The email receipt stated to click the "I'm here" upon my arrival. Well, that's when it went wrong. Arrived 10 minutes prior to actual pickup time clicked the "I'm here" icon as instructed and received a rapid response that some one will be out shortly. 20 minutes later no order. 25 minutes later I clicked the "I'm here" icon again, the response was, sorry we were unable to contact store. Panera, oh Panera, why do you make me stop in everytime I pass by? I've been a faithful Panera fan since they started to open on the East Coast and have spent many a day back in the day when I was an undergrad drinking free coffee refills and using the wifi while hammering away at various assignments. I am more apt to stop here for a latte than Starbucks (shhhh, don't tell anyone, I used to be a barista!), but that's only because the latte of my soul is a caramel latte and Panera uses actual caramel and not syrup. The baked goods and pastries are delicious here. There is nothing like a savory asiago cheese bagel or a delightfully sweet cinnamon crunch bagel to start the day or a shortbread cookie on the way home from work. The soups, sandwiches, and pasta dishes are great too, but sometimes you need to do some trial and error to see which ones are actually worth some of the advertised prices. This location has great staff and the drive-thru is very accurate and surprisingly quick as well. But, just as in any other drive thru, make sure you check your order before you leave! read more
