AWFUL!!!!! I used to love Olive Garden. We were traveling for collegiate sports and stopped by this location in Wilson, North Carolina. Our waitress was HORRIBLE!!! She had zero personality. She acted like bread and soup refills were the biggest inconvenience to her. Didn't offer cheese, we had to ask her for it. She didn't refill our drinks one time. She charged us regular price for our meals when it was supposed to be the buy one, take one. She didn't fix it. We gave up and still had to ask her for the check multiple times just so we could leave. Then no mints!!!!! read more

Now, I can't speak for the service inside - my review is based on curb-side service and the food. The location is easy to access with plenty of parking. The parking lot was clean from what you could see. Why did I say it like that you ask? OH well because the parking lot is completely dark! Not one light on. Not sure if that's to set the mood, but please someone turn on the lights when it becomes dark outside. I ordered my food online - simple. It said the food was to be complete by 8:27pm. I got there early, parked and checked in. Around a min or two before the time it was scheduled to be done, someone came to the car to confirm my name and let me know it was going to be out shortly. About a 1 or so afterwards, someone was at the window with my food in hand. They asked for me to check the order to confirm everything was correct before leaving. Okay not! Cause no one wants to have an incorrect order without quick resolution! For the food, everything was hot and fresh. Large portion sizes and overall a good experience. read more

This was the second time in 3 weeks that we went to OLIVE GARDEN. I enjoy a glass of chardonnay with my meal. The first time that we went they told me they were out of it and yesterday, the second time that we went, they were still out of it. It is on the menu and yet they did not have it for over three weeks. What kind of management is this? I will think twice before I go back. read more

It's pretty mid for a restaurant, below average for Olive Garden standards, the service we got while we were there while wasn't bad but wasn't good either it was just ok, and the food, I'm not really sure how to describe this but it just tasted not quite the same as other locations and on top of that the salad was not very fresh, the breadsticks were kind of hard and the soup came out only lukewarm. We will probably not return to this Olive Garden in the near future. read more

Tonight my wife and I had dinner at Olive Garden Wilson NC and it was disastrous. If I hadn't had good experiences here in the past I would have given it one star. I ordered unsweetened ice tea with no lemon. My tea came with a lemon in it so I asked the server to get me a new one. When she came back I asked if it was a new drink or did she just remove the lemon. She smiled and said she just removed it. So I asked for a fresh drink. I ordered a cup of soup and got a bowl. Not the end of the world, I just ate about half of it as a bowl is too much for me. As opposed to walking around the table to clear our plates she said to pass them to her. Due to arthritis my hands are weak and I almost spilled the remaining soup on the table. She asked if I wanted a refill of my tea and as I can't have sugar I stressed unsweet. Guess what, she brought sweet tea. This was at 4:30 and the place wasn't busy so the poor service is inexcusable. I had ordered Italian cheese cake for dessert and at 4:30 she said they ran out of it. My wife used the restroom and said that it was filthy. Before leaving I used the men's room and it was flooded, the trash can overflowing along with paper towels strewn all over. I do like Olive Gardens food but I think it's time to try the Selma store. read more

The eggplant Parmesan was terrible. Eggplant was slice sooo thin! Nothing there but crust. The waitress said they come already sliced. A waste of money for this dish. The marinara / tomato sauce on the pasta just dripped onto the eggplant. Not worth ordering if you love eggplants. Disappointing indeed and it's been this way for a while, I always order this dish asking the server to ask the cook to slice the eggplant thicker and it always fell. No more! read more

This was, hands down, the worst experience we've had at an Olive Garden and one of the worst we've had in a very long time. My kids were dead set on Olive Garden so we agreed, especially in the area. First of all, this place stinks. Bad. And they clearly do not do a very good job cleaning the place. There was sauce on the walls next to our booth and stains on the booth. Our server was mostly nice but the first thing she did when she came over is take our orders and then say, 'give me just a few, please, my manager needs to speak with me.' Which was pretty much the opening of the door for the poorest of service. We ordered the soup and salad, a plate of fettuccine Alfredo, a kids pizza and a kids spaghetti with sauce. We waited a good 30 minutes before the salad showed up and then another 20 before the rest of the dishes arrived. No check in from our waitress, no apology or timeframe, no nothing. There was a large, full table that was seated after us and they received their food at the same time. When I came time for us to pay, we tried to use that little kiosk they have at the table and it was another table's order. Cue the 20 minute wait for our waitress. We were at this place a total of an hour and 40 minutes which is INSANE and not worth it by a long shot. Do not waste your time going to this location even if it's the only one in the area. I love Olive Garden so I wanted my birthday dinner there. I was unable to go, so my husband ordered it from take out I had my doubts it would turn out to be what I wanted. So he went to get it & everything was perfect, but he forgot my free but the manager said no problem & wouldnt accept money ! I was wished a happy birthday and they sent me a FREE Sicilian Cheesecake. The meal was perfection. My chicken parm, soup, breadsticks were AWESOME ! We are a family of 7. Tonight was the absolute worst service! When we were waiting for our table to get set up the host came back to the front and asked a server at the hostess desk if she could do a family of 7 and she loudly said "she would rather NOT!" Then went on to say if you can't find anyone else I guess I could do it. While we were standing right there. I don't want someone to serve me and my family if they are going to say that. Thankfully we had another server and she was awful too. She acted as if we were inconveniencing her. She never ask if we needed anything and when I finally got her over I said we all need refills and soup refills. She said when "I get some free time I will come get your soup order". It was 20 minutes later she came out with the same soup and we all wanted something different for the never ending soup. She kept forgetting refills and never brought 3 of my kids refills. After she brought the wrong soup she acted all mad at us for what reason. She was the one not asking us what we wanted. It was so disappointing. read more

We frequent Olive Garden often at home so we decided to stop here for dinner on our road trip. Food was delivered quickly and hot. The waiter was very chill and laid back but had hospitality. I usually don't do reviews, but after my experience at this location, truly distasteful. A couple of friends and I went in around 7:40ish tonight, got seated after going in and drinks were given to us after a couple minutes. We came in for the all you can eat, and we all ordered, and got our first plate. I could see the waiter was doing her side work and getting ready for closing , and there were probably 3-4 other people seated. We didn't get refills and we were there till 9:10ish. She would say are yall ok? And keep walking to other tables without stopping to interact with us. My friend wanted to order another plate, as it's all you can eat. She just stood at the bar, with an attitude and she got cut off because she answered her personal phone. I was also going to order but she didn't acknowledge us after her phone call. I then had to tell her after 10-20 minutes if we could please order. Again with an attitude, she said okay. Truly no customer service whatsoever, I understand she was stressed out but that in no means should make a customer feel ignored and feeling rushed coming in 2 hours before close. read more

Service was horrible. There was probably 10 customers in the entire restaurant and 20 employees and it took us over 20 minutes to get a drink. We ordered a bottle of white wine and it came out warm. The bartender/server didn't bother to open it for us. Had to ask multiple times for a glass of water. No acknowledgement at all from bartender/server when ordering or asking for something. Excellent service from Ebony tonight! I recommend the stuffed shells and strawberry bellini, both were wonderful. My husband really enjoyed the salad and breadsticks. And we both loved the Zipolli doughnuts with chocolate and raspberry sauce!! Such a treat to get out for date night. read more

The server we had Matt was great he was running his butt off to take care of us and the other guests. However, I have been to many olive gardens and the food here was clearly frozen as my shrimp came out still ice cold as was the chicken. If this wasn't bad enough the manager here needs to pay some attention to the cleanliness of the facility. It was gross! I couldn't even sit next to my wife because she wouldn't get that close to the wall as it was stained with food and other splatter (see photo). After we sat down and I put my arms on the table I also noticed my arms were sticking to the table. My wife then picked up her phone and noticed food that was left on the table was stuck to the back of her phone. We should have gotten up and left.... I've gotten food from Wilson, NC this afternoon. I've bought 3 meals . 75.00 worth. Two Chicken Scampi's. The peppers were cut n half not sliced . The sauce on it tasted like Alfreda sauce instead of the garlic butter sauce. Presentation just wasn't there. It tasted awful. The other meal was a spaghetti and meatballs. My partner said it was ok. I drove from Clayton NC. Very disappointed in Clayton!! I'm not driving like this again for food like this. Service was quick . Came here to eat with my family. The wait time didn't bother me, I expected that since it was Saturday. Waitress was unorganized, took her a while to do the simplest things. Got a coupon sent to my email from OLIVE GARDEN for a free appetizer and ordered the spinach cheese dip. Received the dip with only spinach. No cheese. Was told that's their new recipe. Whatever. Coupon that they sent wasn't working. Manager asked me have I used the coupon before and I told him no. After 20 mins of waiting for them to figure out the issue, he came back and accused me of using the coupon before. Waitress then tells me they no longer use coupons...sent by them....doesn't make any sense. Love Olive Garden, will probably never eat at this one again though. read more

We had a great experience after a snafu in the beginning. We ordered to-go online for four people and my husband picked it up on the way home from work. We live about 30 minutes from the restaurant. It wasn't until he got home that he realized we were given the wrong order (a different person with the same first name). I called the restaurant and spoke to the manager, who was very nice and told us that they would make our food again. When we went to pick it up, they informed us that they were refunding our money for the order. We got twice the amount of food and only paid a tip to the employees. We started off annoyed because of the extra hour of driving, but ended up happy because of great customer service and delicious food! read more

I love eating here. I always get the unlimited soup salad and breadsticks. My favorite soup is the chicken and gnocchi. I love dipping warm breadsticks in it. Sometimes the wait can be long when it seems like they aren't too busy. And some of the staff can be a little absent minded while others are the best in town. Still a great place! read more

Just stay away. It took much to long to find a seat when there were plenty of seats available. I believe that was due to a lack of staff. Let's talk about staff. Our waitress scared the crap out of us. Soups and drinks were spilling all over the place, it was like watching a Disney cartoon caricature of a waitress that didn't know what they were doing. Thrice she took our order, twice she came back to tell us that what we ordered was no longer available. Information that would have been useful the first time ordering. When the orders finally came out, she got one wrong and completely forgot about another. Three times she took our order! Our pasta soups barely had pasta. One of our soups was barely contained in the bowl, the waitress spilled the soup all over the bowl and plate. To top it off, every drink refill spilled over the table. When I asked for a soda refill, she came back with a soda without ice. when I asked for ice she gave me, quite literally, a cupful of ice. I had to pour the drink into the ice. It was just all very odd. I would give this zero stars if possible. Terrible service that ruined our appetites. You're better off staying away. read more
