Food was good, however the buffalo chicken pizza had hair in it. It was brought to servers attention, and witnessed her speak with manager. No one came to talk to us or apologize that the food was contaminated. We paid for our food and asked for a manager. The manager seemed irritable when we let him know the concern of the same pizza still sitting on the buffet line. He said a manager was supposed to be coming to talk to us. We stopped here specifically on our way to Myrtle Beach as from my childhood we ate at Pizza Inn in Fredericksburg Virginia for the buffet all the time. So when I googled pizza buffets near me I found that Rocky Mount was the closest to northern Virginia that I could find. WE WERE NOT DISSAPOINTED!! Service, food, atmosphere, all great. My wife asked for a Pizza Inn pizza instead of Pizza Hut. I gave in to her request. We paid $18 and change for a large thin & crispy supreme pizza. Into my 2nd slice, my molars crunched on something foreign. I pulled the slice out of my mouth and then spit out a huge cheese-matted clump of hair. The clump was at least 3 inches long and as thick as my little finger. We took the remaining pizza back along with the clump of hair. At Pizza Inn, I asked to speak to the Manager. I opened the pizza box and showed the Manager the clump of hair. I was not joyful; however, I kept my statements civil and never raised my voice. I suggested to the Manager that he needs to review the use of hair nets. He very adamantly stated that this hair did not come from his restaurant. He stated that none of his workers have hair like the clump; I could easily see 3 candidates within my eye-sight at that very moment. The Manager would not own this situation. He never apologized. I demanded a refund; after minutes of his handling the clump of hair, he gave me my refund. No apology was offered. No ownership of the mishap was taken. We will never patronize Pizza Inn again.
