Every waiter or waitress has the greatest attitude and always on top of their game except for today.......we had a waiter that was new and things were a little slow at a slow time of the day. That's ok, we've all been new but what stands out is we had Steph (a restaurant lead) come over, acknowledged that we were regulars and made sure things were back on track! The service was incredible! Our server, Corey, was very attentive and professional. He made us feel welcome, answered any questions we had and checked on us frequently in case we needed anything. If you crave soup, Olive Garden does it for me! Unlimited breadsticks and I just ask them to pack up my entree to take home. Pasta Fagioli: ground meat and beats with bits of macaroni pasta. Hearty and full of fiber with a tomato base. This bowl had a spicy kick. Zuppa Toscana: Tuscan Sausage soup. Love the kale and potatoes. It's on the brothy side but still, yum. People are always so quick to put down the food from Olive Garden. They never claim to be an Italian restaurant, they never claimed to be old world authentic. I have had nothing but good experiences when I've eaten here. The food is good, and filling for a decent price. I don't expect it to be like my Nonna's cooking. The people working there are friendly, their takeout is always hot and I've never had any reason to complain. Put in a $70 DoorDash order for Olive Garden. The spaghetti was barely sauced and there was absolutely 0 gnocchi in the chicken gnocchi soup, just broth. I even put a note on the order to make sure there was gnocchi because this happened last time as well. You can't tell me as someone pouring soup into a bowl you don't notice only liquid being transferred. At least they're consistent with the disappointing quality. read more

So we decided on Olive Garden for dinner tonight after a long day working on the house. Everybody loves manicotti, right? Except when there's hardly any sauce on it and the pasta is like a rock. Used to be one of my go-to places for lunch. I just don't come anymore. 3 times in a row, I have gotten terrible service and subpar food. I emailed corporate and spoke to the manager. They tried to make it right and paid for my next meal. The next time I come I get the same terrible experience. We came right at open and it was very empty. My first order of soup took over 20 minutes, and then my refills took over 15 minutes. We ended up being at the restaurant for over an hour and a half, and it wasn't because we sat and talked. It was simply because service was so slow. The soup he did bring out was all broth and no meat. For a restaurant that probably does 2 million alone in soup sales, they seem to have forgotten how to do it. I apologize if I sound salty, but ultimately, I used to love this place, and now I simply have checked it off my list, and if in the area, go to Del Taco or Chick-fil-A. We got to the restaurant around 4:30pm, there was small line to check in for a table but Lawanda had it all under control! She was managing the front like a champ! We appreciated her great smile, she walked us to our table in the bar and wiped our table down again just to make sure it was clean! Isaac was our waiter and he was fantastic! So friendly and very attentive. We wanted for nothing! (I even got extra pepperocinis that I asked for). David was bartending but also helped with our table and he was so nice! Hubby and I were craving their famous salad & breadsticks. And they did not disappoint! Our first time at this location and I was pleasantly surprised by the decor and "Italian" themed ambiance. Busy Saturday around 6:30 but we were sat immediately by a friendly lady at the front. Our server greeted us within a few minutes, took our drink orders and returned with the prized bread & fresh salad. I'm not into pasta but love their soups. I started with a bowl of the Zuppa Toscana. It was so delicious and satisfying. Hubby ordered a cheese ravioli with shrimp dish and said it was also great. We were sent home with breadsticks, more soup, the hubby's leftovers AND far too many chocolate mints. No complaints here though. Overall an amazing deal for two meals each! First, she makes us wait and seats every other party as they walk in (we did not have some 6 or more large party), then she calls us but just to ask if we can sit on the patio (by ourselves in the warm "Phoenix" evening). I mean I guess but you aren't even that busy why are WE sitting outside. We are hungry so we do it. We wait 15 min and no one has even come out to introduce themselves, get us a drink. So I walk in and just ask the hostess if there's any server that is working the patio (I mean we are alone on the patio and so maybe they forgot to even tell a waiter someone is out here). She doesn't say oh sorry we are a bit busy but I'll get someone right away, or any version of that. She just says "ya"! And looks at me with an attitude. So I asked if she knew how long it would be. And again just "ya they'll be out there!" Her attitude grows. I was just gonna go back to my seat but im just very frustrated by her rudeness. So I say. "Do you know if it will be 20 min or longer, or anything other than just "ya"? She says "ya I'll go tell them!" This time she's YELLING at me. I just go back to my seat and we still wait at least 5-6 more min. Over 20 min total and finally a waiter comes out. At this point it's hard to even want to order because I've worked in food and people can do aweful things to food I've seen it. And I have my daughters. So I at least want to be friendly with the waiter, but I did say we waited a while so we are ready to order. He was very nice. He earns the 1 star for the restaurant. I love olive gardens good so I give it a 2nd star, even though some food was wrong and had to be fixed. But that hostess was so nasty and we were shoved out to eat alone in the heat outside. The past few times we have visited this restaurant and including today. The taste of the food is horrible. Had a chef's salad today the lettuce was brown not good tasting. The best thing was the coke. Had a French dip sandwich it was bad the taste was so bad could not even eat it. Took the chocolate cake home to try it out , thru it out and I love chocolate. Since we like to make our rounds at different restaurants, it was time to get back to one of our favorites- Olive Gardens. Our waiter Isaac was tending the bar area as well as the diners. The food was fine and as expected for an Olive Garden. The service was disappointing. We had three different people bring us on our food and didn't see our waitress again until the end when she brought our check. We asked for lemons to go with our water multiple times and never got it. They didn't seem extraordinarily busy. Our waitress was nice, but seemed overly excited to get off work as she was telling us in an upbeat manner she was happy because we're her last table and she's ready to head home. Olive Garden has always been a favorite of ours! We decided it was the perfect place to eat on our 20th Wedding Anniversary . Unfortunately, our experience could have been better. There was nothing terrible- but nothing outstanding either. Gaps in Customer Service was the main reason. Upon arrival, the hostess who greeted us just wasn't that welcoming. Our server didn't look like she was having the best day. She displayed little enthusiasm for her job, actually. We didn't receive any bread sticks for a while ( we were told "They are in oven"). A while later, we saw our server giving another table bread, so we asked, and finally received them. The sphegetti was food, and soup was delicious. The ambiance was nice, as it akways us at every Olive Garden. This experience was not a real positive one, when compared to the countless other Olive Gardens we have eaten at.
