We are remodeling our master bathroom, and wanted a solid one piece shower base. We did tons of research and actually tried to work with one of the big box stores who said they could make this base for us. After months of working with the big box store, it was apparent that they could not make this for us. Back to the drawing board, and more research, I happened to find Olive Mill, and they are fairly close to our home. Valerie, and her husband were a pleasure to work with. They listed to what we wanted, they were understanding and professional. And, most importantly, they delivered what we wanted! Our shower base is perfect. And, Olive Mill was even understanding when we couldn't pick the order up right away because of some family emergency. This company installed a quartz product in our kitchen a few months ago. The job was professional, the workers were careful and left the area clean and we're happy with the quality of their work . I recommended them to a friend. My only gripe was the length of time it took them to do the job. From the time they demo'd our old countertops - leaving us with plywood surfaces - was about five weeks. We were told it would be two. Other than that we have no complaints. read more

Well, I dreamed about remodeling my kitchen for years. I thought about how I could afford it for a few more years. I shopped for countertops and got so overwhelmed I waited even longer. I solved the money issue and did not know where to start. The Olive Mill was recommended by an appliance store so I stopped by one day....... Valerie answered all of my silly questions, she talked me through the whole process like a friend and put me at ease. I had a set budget and Valerie shared all of my options so that I could make an affordable choice. All of the installers where on time, experienced and courteous. Our house is 50 years old and perfectly crooked.... and the granite had a tiny chip that only I would notice..... Everyone worked hard to correct the challenges. Buyer beware, do not go to Valerie of Olive Mill! She is only out for herself and not in truly helping the customer out at all! When I asked her to look at a small crack , she gave me an estimate to redo the entire side of the countertop when others said there was no need.to since the countertop was divided in half. She said her company will not do the work unless she can replace the back splash along with the whole long countertop. Her estimates were also 3 times higher than others and she wrote on her estimate that unless the whole countertop was replaced, she would not be able to work with us. I never got this from any of the 3 other businesses I contacted!!! She also refused to give me her professional analysis in writing because she did not want to have anything down in writing, to protect her business. as she flat out told me in email. If she does not want to give her professsional analysis, why is she in business anyway??/ She does not care about the client and in working with them to solve their unique situiation. This is arrogance and injustice on a huge level. Yes, this is a business, but she is just out for herself and in obtaining profits and not in helping out the individual customer in the right manner. Do not go here if you want trustworthiness, integrity and common sense in people who you PAY to do your work. Valerie thinks she is actually doing you a favor by working with you and not that we are doing her a favor by paying for their services which really was non existant!!! To explain my 8-27-2016 Yelp review of Olive Mill--I realize that quartz can look different than the sample I had. Valerie's husband will be coming over to see my countertop on Saturday--to compare with what I saw in their showroom (Cambria) and what I actually bought (Pentel). I swear it looked just like the Cambria sample, They are bringing both samples I will go along with what Valerie says about what they actually ordered (Pental) after her showing me invoice, etc. I believe they seem to be honest people with which to do business. Our counter top does look beautiful....I showed it a few of my friends and they also thinks it looks beautiful and professionally installed. Owners have been professional, answering my many questions and returning phone calls and emails on time. I found Countertops by Olive Mill after interviewing other companies who I was less impressed with. The Yelp reviews were very helpful. We wanted quartz but became temporarily distracted visiting a few granite slab sites. We returned to quartz. Contacting Valerie was professional and she laid out for us all the steps in the process including billing and how everything works. We also visited their site and were warmly received and worked to narrow down what we wanted and the timeline. We placed our order, she kept us informed along the way as to dates and times. Everything happened exactly as scheduled. The countertop and backsplash were finished wonderfully. Olive Mill made our experience manageable and delightful. Working with Valerie and sometimes Andy was pleasant, organized and efficient.
