Independent licensed professionals determined the shower installation failed systemically and had to be fully demolished and rebuilt. While partial reimbursement was provided for initial mold remediation and limited tile repair, Cabinet Wholesalers ultimately refused to honor the warranty and pay the full cost of correction unless we agreed to use their crew to perform the repairs--a condition that was not stated anywhere in the contract, despite the extensive prior failures. As a result, we were forced to file a complaint with the CSLB and pursue a contractor bond claim. This was an extremely stressful and costly experience. Proceed with caution.
