I was suffering from intense neck pains, nausea, and constant migraines for four consecutive days prior to my appointment at Divine Seed Acupuncture. We started off the session by going over my health history and any concerns I had, then she gave me her input and we got started! Acupuncture did not hurt at all, even when she stimulated them. I have TMJ and my jaw was feeling very tight but after she stuck the needles in I could feel this amazing sensation and immediately felt looser and more relaxed. During the acupuncture, she would explain to me why she was poking certain pressure points and which part of my body they applied to, which I really appreciate because usually my previous acupuncturist would just tell me my issues, put needles in without any further explanation and that was that. After the acupuncture session, she did cupping on my back and applied oil beforehand with a massage and it felt heavenly. I almost fell asleep! Gia Hoa used the most adorable cups on me--heart shaped--and I left with cute "battle scars". She sent me off with some patches for my back and during the drive back home I had NO nausea. Since my session with Gia Hoa, I have not had any neck soreness or migraines. I feel so much better and not only physically healed, but mentally as well. She is very responsive, professional, and compassionate. I felt comfortable here and in good hands. I already cannot wait to come back!

She was quick to locate pain and stressors in my body to bring me quick and amazing relief! Just like chiropractics, acupuncture is something you have to do regularly to upkeep results and I have gone to see her twice now this month! Both times she writes notes about where your points are and how they are connected to your health. Overall the experience was extremely calming. I fell asleep both times which amazed me because I have a lot of difficulty falling asleep. Two weeks ago, I also had a Shamanic Extraction done by her to remove energy blockages. She detected blockages in my knees and head region. My knees were always cracking while standing and feeling stuck whenever I sit still for a while, a feeling like I had restless less syndrome where it only felt better if I got up and moved around. After the Shamanic Extraction, my knees still crack but the stuck feeling is mostly gone. As for my head after the extraction, I feel more energy flow through my crown chakra. I gotten a Groupon deal for 2 sessions. Search for reviews and didn't find any yelp because I was looking for Personal Medicine Inc. I did find the website and read through it. What made me pick this was that it didn't look like the normal turn as many customers as possible type of joint so I decided to give it a try. Wrong thinking cuz, this place is an one man show type.. no service whatsoever. You will see, it's crazy hard to get an appointment. No phones answers.. no email reply. She'll make you fill out forms first, that's all she cares for. After weeks of trying to get an appointment, she says, you don't need an appointment. Seriously, what doctors office doesn't need an appointment?? . Appointment made, went in for my first session. Now this place is above the Wells Fargo building, tucked inside the 3rd floor. It's just a tiny office. Looks sketchy. Again, should have know to RUN! :) As what the other reviewer said, Robin really has no social or bed side manners. No hello? or an introduction? Once she's done, I get up to get dressed. I'm trying to put on my shirt and there's a needle stuck to my wrist... I'm like,, umm.. look??? I'm thinking in my head, you don't count how many needles you put in me and how many you take out? She then takes the needle out and didn't say.. oh.. sorry, I missed one.. nothing... Also, I'm barefooted and looked down, there are needles on the ground too. She goes..ooops, we don't want those on the ground.. yahh??? you think? So I'm dressed, and asked her, when should my next session be? She said, how about Thursday at noon. I said that's fine. Here comes Thursday. She said how was the last treatment, I said I don't know because I felt good all week. Not much of a difference I can tell. She then goes crazy, as I call it. She said WHY ARE YOU DOING HERE THEN? I said cuz you told me to come today? She said your treatments won't just be 2 treatments as your Groupon, you need more, you know that right?? You need like 20 treatments. I said, well I like to try my 2 treatments that so I can gauge if it helps. She says, you need to know if you want to continue the treatments. I said well, if my insurance will help pay, yes, I like to continue. I said how much would it be with insurance? She then points at a tiny sign with her pricing on it and said the prices are there... very rude, why not just explain it? She says, it'll be about $1300, I said that's not chump change and that's why I want to try the 2 sessions I've paid for. She then said, why are you here then if know if you want continued treatment. At this time, I don't trust her anymore. All she cares about is money. I told her you are going about this all wrong, I understand this is a business and you need to sell but not in this RUDE manner.
