3 catfish, 3 oyster, 3 shrimp
Sara P.

Located at the end of a strip mall, plenty of parking but spaces can be a little tight. Called before coming in because i saw reviews about their hours. The lady that picked up was very kind and offered to take my order over the phone (I opted to just drive over and order in person). They do take card. They also have 3-4 booths to sit at if you decide to dine in. As soon as we walked in we were greeted. The oxtails were so good. Flavor and super tender, literally fell off the bone when i picked it up. Pieces were huge but came with a lot of fat on it. Mac n cheese was bomb. Cheesy, not super salty and not over the top. Perfect and would for sure get again. Greens were cooked perfectly, not super soggy, seasoned well, small bits of pork. I think i was missing the gravy but overall would get again. Fried catfish was good, batter wasn't hard/stiff. Shrimp was tasty. I didn't care for the oysters. Potato salad was really eggy and was probably the best side we got. French fries were just ok. Also got the peach cobbler but was way too sweet for my liking. When we got it i had to question if it was peach cobbler or yams because it was so sweet and didn't have a ton of peaches. Overall, i will be eating here again. i love a mom n pops/hole in the wall and i look forward to supporting small businesses. Though the food took a while to come out, the worker was welcoming and the food came out fresh and piping hot. Great portion for the prices. Hours may need to be updated so just call before coming in.

It was ok. Nice family owned business environment. I'm always conscious about our salt intake as African American culture as well as minorities. They could definitely use some economic development funding to upgrade their business platform. I still have a desire to taste ox tails.. See if they are better than mine!!!

This is the front of the restaurant!

Scenery is very normal. One plasma screen tv(( great picture quality). Hand sanatizer dispenser available for customers and enough seating for customers dues to size. The lady is very ladiback and nice. But about the food. It's is absolutely delicious.... she allowed my mom and I to sample her yams and they were super good! Ibought the fish and Mac n cheese. Tasty food. Will go there again

My son and I went here last night. I phoned in my order : combo 5 fish and 7 prawns with fries and mac n cheese. Our fish was catfish. They give large pieces of fish, jumbo prawns, plenty of fries a d creamy mac and cheese. We ate 1/3 last night because it was so much and will have the remainder today. Very good food. Fish nice and crispy not over salted. Prawns awesome. We will visit again!

The fish was flavorful. The prawns were the bomb. The greens are to die for and the music set the tone. I love this place.

Wing bros in Antioch is a fairly decent wing restaurant. Between the flavors, the quality of the…read morechicken, and the quality of the slaw, everything was a cut above the average wing chain. The atmosphere was about middle ground, neither high end, but also not dingy or garish. In terms of service, everyone was friendly, willing to clear up confusions, and patient. -ORDER: 6PC TENDER COMBO; HONEY & SWEET BBQ- STRENGTHS *Both sauces, including their own honey lemon, and a more conventional BBQ were high quality. The honey lemon was unique, as it left the wings a bit dryer than a traditional sauce *The slaw was good. Not unique, but still executed well, being flavorful, cold, and fresh. *Their in-house mango passionfruit drink was unique, and rather good. It was a good refresher to cleanse my pallet in between bites. POTENTIAL POINTS OF IMPROVEMENT *The carrots and celery were... pathetic. The slices were equally thinner and shorter than my index finger. *The tenders beneath the sauce tasted like pre made tenders, as they tasted very similar to many other tenders I've had at various restaurants Conclusion: Wing bros in Antioch was a flavorful, above average quality experience with decent value for what you get. I'd go again, and I'd recommend you go as well.

And you choose the flavor and the level of spice. So we got the Cajun and mild. The amount of seafood boil in the one order is a lot of food in my opinion. Depending on how much one person can eat, I think the one order is good for 2-3 people. Service was good not perfect. We had to wait at least 10-15 minutes. I also order their mango drink. I love that you get free refills while you wait for your food (to go). We didn't dine in, we took the food home. Was a little disappointed that our seafood boil did not have the sausages, I literally kept checking the bag until I finally dumped it on the table and still no sausages. The boil was a little on the salty side. But over all it was still a good boil. The ambiance is cool it's got that sports bar vibe going on but it's kid friendly. The price is not as expensive as other places who serve seafood boil. Hope next time is a bit better experience.

We don't always roll like that, but we tend to try to beat the rush so we can head back to our Trilogy Rio Vista Compound and nap. Being early was not a problem. The Owners/Hosts were courteous and sat us right away. We ordered the 20 Ribeye's both. Sides of creamed spinach and Brussel sprouts and two salads, one Caesar and one house. Also cream of mushroom soup. Presentation was spectacular. The salads were crisp and garnished with edible orchids. The soup was creamy and soothing. We chose, at the suggestion of our host the Bowtie Petite Syrah from the Macaully Estate Winery. Delicious, perfect temperature. The steaks were cooked perfect to medium. The rub was spiced right, and no steak sauce was even pondered. We topped it off with the New York Cheesecake and even though one of the Blueberries sadly fell off the table during the mandatory photo session, it did not hold it against us. Blueberries are naturally sad by comedy nature, so it held it martyrdom with pride. We will go back. We will recommend. We will try with all our might to save and ingest both blueberries on the next excursion. So help us God.

Happy new year 2026! This is my first review for the new year ( take out order ) let's get into it…read more. Living out in the 925 area has been a challenge for this east Oakland foodie ! It's so diverse and can barely ever miss back home but out here it's hard . With that being said I was craving some good ol fried catfish . I looked them up on Yelp and seen they have my favorite which is fried scallops so I said let's give them a try . This is a seafood market that sells fried food . Called my order in ahead of time. The person who took my order was polite and helpful . I got wing and catfish combo and wanted prawn and scallop combo . Unfortunately they were out of prawns by 4 in the afternoon . So I got catfish and scallops instead . Overall it was good . The catfish was fresh and melted like butter in my mouth . Chicken was nice sized chicken . The scallops were big not the little ones and cooked perfectly not chewy at all . The breading was fried right, not too thick or over seasoned . Fries could have been cooked a little harder but besides that my fish craving was fulfilled. I would try them out again .

They were also a good size for the price. 8/10 Fried cat fish was ok and would not get again. Still unsure if it was actually cat fish because it didn't really taste like it. Also unsure if these were frozen or freshly battered. Not too much flavor. 1/10 Fried Mac n cheese was probably the best thing. Crispy, cheesy and not too salty. 10/10 Potato salad had too much mayo for my liking and was too sweet. 1/10 Peach cobbler wasn't too sweet but overall really bland. The filling/crust had almost no taste and had a weird texture. 1/10 Banana pudding was too sweet but had good banana flavor. Pudding was a nice/smooth texture - 4/10 Fried meals had ok fries but were big portions. Overall i wouldn't come back which is unfortunate because the worker, Ali, was really kind and is the reason im giving 2 stars.

First thing... you order from a kiosk when you walk in. Kinda cute honestly. The spot is small but they have TVs going and little Connect Four games on the tables so it has a fun vibe. Nicole was working and she was genuinely warm and welcoming. Not that fake "hi welcome in" energy . She actually made you feel like you were supposed to be there. I did my research before going so we passed on the catfish (the reviews on that were not it). Instead I got the Large Garlic Noodles, Chicken & Sausage Rasta Pasta, and the Crawfish & Sausage Mac N Cheese. All three were hitting. Like actually good, not just hype good. After the food came I decided to try the watermelon lemonade and that was a solid decision. Not too sweet, really refreshing. For dessert we grabbed the Peach Cobbler out of the display case. It came in a little tin that it was made in, and it was slightly dry, but the flavor was there. Tasty, just needs some work. Came out to $70.25 total which honestly felt right for what we got. We will be back to try more stuff for sure. Maybe the protein items next time.
