Instead of providing the color I asked for, the technician repeatedly tried to substitute multiple different shades and insisted they were "clear pink" when they clearly were not. I even looked at the bottles myself and knew they were different colors. After several attempts to explain what I wanted, another employee came over to assist. They disappeared for a while and eventually returned with a bottle labeled "DND Clear Pink," but it looked completely different from the actual product I have used before. The bottle itself didn't even match the standard DND packaging, which raised even more concerns. What frustrated me most was feeling like my concerns were being dismissed. I knew exactly what color I wanted, yet I was repeatedly told I was wrong. Throughout the interaction, the employees continued speaking among themselves in their language and would occasionally say "clear pink," which made the entire situation feel uncomfortable and unprofessional. To make matters worse, after all of the confusion and after I decided not to proceed with gel polish, I was still charged an additional fee to remove the existing polish. So not only did I not receive the service I specifically requested, but I ended up paying extra as well. There are far too many nail salons with excellent customer service to deal with this kind of experience. If a client tells you exactly what they want, listen to them instead of trying to convince them they don't know the difference. Very disappointing experience.

She was extremely diligent with the prep work and made sure my nails felt super clean and well-buffed before starting. She checked in multiple times to make sure I was happy with the shape, length, and cut before painting, which made me feel very confident and cared for. Kamy also checked in throughout the appointment and was so sweet the entire time. She also said my dog (in a carrier) is super cute I absolutely love my results and truly appreciated the care and attention from start to finish. I did a chrome color - pricing was not disclosed prior to me choosing the Chrome either (Beware any add-on is charged. You are basically nickel and dimmed for every choice. The tech did not go all the way down to the cuticles so my fresh nails with a brand "new set" (I don't use tips and still got charged for a full set ) it looked like they were already a week old. After having the tech redo them to fix her mistake, they still look like shit. The tips of my nails are missing chunks of chrome. I'm not willing to walk back in there because this manicure and pedicure became an easy $215. I have never in my life paid that much for a simple pedicure and nail set. We came to Houston to try something new and expected it to be a little pricier, but I did not expect to give away my first born child. Nor did I expect to leave completely unsatisfied.

The technician blamed the issue on me for "scratching my nose" instead of keeping my hand under the light, which was both rude and inaccurate, as the problem occurred on both hands--not just the one I briefly moved. Even after the redo, the polish did not cure properly. Less than 48 hours later, the nails are still malleable and the top layer of polish is already flaking off. Although I could return to request a redo, their website notes that refunds are not offered--only corrections within a limited timeframe. Given the experience, I do not feel comfortable returning or spending additional time on a service that should have been done correctly the first time.
