It was definitely fresh and refreshing. It was a bit pulpy which is actually how I like my citrus juice. The guy here clearly hates his job or just hates the slew of tourists. I had ordered two of the pineapple juice but he must have misheard and only gave me one. He was quite annoyed that I wanted another one even though it meant more revenue for him. I thought he was just stressed from the long line so I gave him a nice tip hoping it'd make his day. No change in attitude and from the reviews here, it seems like that's just how he is.  The reviews here about the long wait is spot on. There were 4 people in front of me. It still took more than 30 minutes and the line behind got significantly longer. After I got my drink and settled to the table behind, I noticed the line was gone and he had temporarily closed the shop. There is a fruit stand next door so I didn't mind the wait since my kids did some shopping. This was the only juice stand off of Honoapilian Highway around Lahaina that I saw. There usually are a few folks waiting around here but considering this is freshly made smoothie it is ready pretty quick. You can also qalk by the farmers market next door. Completely shocked by the reviews here. I brought this place up on Yelp while waiting in line and almost left but I am glad I stayed and gave them a fair shot. I made sure to look around the counter and in the truck and everything looked perfectly clean. The smoothie was delicious and very fresh tasting. I ordered pina colada puree with strawberry and passion fruit added in. I will say I couldn't really detect the passion fruit so not 100% sure if he actually added it in, but I will give him the benefit of the doubt. It did take some time as it is only on person doing everything and I imagine in the summer the lines could get pretty long. We had a few people in front of us including a family that ordered four smoothies, and I would say it probably took about 15 minutes. We really enjoyed our smoothies from here. They use really fresh fruit and lots of special tropical options. We had a papaya passion fruit smoothie (this was heavy on the papaya flavor) and a dragon fruit/ passion fruit/ mango, and a pineapple /dragonfruit / passion fruit smoothie. We were lucky to be second in line and had a short wait. Not sure why the Yelp rating is so low with this little fruit stand, as we had a great experience here. My boyfriend purchased a Maui pineapple along with many food souvenirs in the massive tent next door, and they told us to take our pineapple here to get it sliced. So, we did! The truck was empty when we got there, so we waited a few minutes til a guy noticed us and stepped inside the food cart. We told him we'd like to have our pineapple sliced and he got right to it. Might be too sweet for some but I love it. I've had other places who dilute it and feel like I'm getting ripped off. The smoothie is more like juice because it's not thick from ice. Fun stop on the freeway. There are lots of fruit choices to choose from -- prices aren't the cheapest but hey, it's Maui. Indulge a little on some locally grown fresh fruit. I saw sugarcane and have been wanting some for a while. After the purchase, one of the nice staff members helped us cut is a part. Really awesome afternoon treat. I'm a curious and spontaneous free spirit. So, when I spotted this super colorful fun looking juice stand on a road trip around the island of Maui, I took a quick detour and made an immediate beeline to check it out. Their posted photo of fresh pineapple juice served in a real pineapple piqued my interest too​​ since it's something I rarely ever see in the San Francisco Bay Area. The line with just 4 people didn't outwardly appear as if it would be a long wait, but you know what they say about things not being what they appear to be. Turns out the wait was about 25 minutes! This was a one-man show operation and people were ordering multiple items. I got the fresh pineapple juice, and everything was made starting from scratch, which is great theoretically​, but not really​ feasible from a timing perspective with the long line that was forming. The pineapple juice was good. I saw the guy carve the fresh chunks of pineapple, which were then placed into a blender with ice and poured into a hollowed-out​ pineapple. Now, that's REAL pineapple juice! I can't recall the price exactly, but it was at least $10.00. I probably wouldn't do a repeat, but hey, I got a few fun photos out of it, so that's priceless. From my experience, the Yelp reviews, which I didn't check out in advance, were spot on about the long wait times and the inflated prices. However, I didn't encounter the rude service that others mentioned. In fact, the guy who helped me was nice. I also snagged a couple of juicy mangos from the fruit stand for the road trip. food *is* decent, that wasn't the issue . i got one of the ice cream sandwiches as one transaction and a smoothie for my sister as a separate transaction. i paid 11.38 for my $10 sandwich plus a 15% tip. my second transaction was for my sisters, using her card, so i didn't tip because i wasn't sure if she wanted me to pay extra using her card. cashier called out "SKIMMERS" after i walked away without tipping on an already overpriced drink... sure dude. $20.78 was the cost for my sisters $7 smoothie- i think the mixup was he charged me for the ice cream sandwich a second time BUT also a tip that was not chosen by me as he said it was going to be 17something for the second total, i assumed he misspoke and it was 7something so i went through with the transaction anyway. then when we came up to the window to right the issue he gave $10 back and she asked like hey it was only $7 so i should get around $13 back and he responded that's with tax, mine wasn't an extra $3 tax so i don't know why her cheaper drink was... also thought it was $10 because it was homemade or something not from a website lol read more

The pineapple was carved fresh and blended with ice and then poured back into the pineapple. Don't listen to the other negative reviews about this place! It's a one man business, and he makes each drink fresh upon order. If you can't wait 5 minutes for your drink, go to a grocery store. One of the most refreshing smoothies I've had in Maui, got a lilikoi guava smoothie, which the owner added in a bit of sugar cane juice (excellent bonus). Not sure if it's more expensive than what you would find at a store or farmers market but they seemed to have a good selection of fresh fruit and even macadamia nuts.
