Delicious acai bowl to enjoy on the beach though the acai is a little on the pricey side. However, it's a treat to be able to enjoy it on the beach under the sun where you didn't have to make it on your own or to bring on in a cooler from somewhere else. Place was fire! Called because I couldn't find them and they directed me to the spot perfectly the bowls were amazing. We got a large and shared and we also got a smoothie and all of it was super good and it's really close to the beach. Makes it a little bit even better. Service was amazing too. They were great. I was the first customer today thank you ladies. :) it was also raining a little bit when we pulled up and she was blowing off all the tables and making it all good for us to sit down so we appreciated that. We wanted a quick and healthy breakfast before hitting the beach and decided to try this place out! It is a food truck at a park close to the beach- the parks name is DT Fleming. We had a bit of a hard time trying to find the location at first so just type the name of the park in! When we arrived there was quite a long line but it went very fast. The girls who were working were very nice! We ordered the normal acai bowl and added cacoa nibs. It was delicious. We really enjoyed how they put granola on the top and bottom of the bowl to add an extra crunch. This bowl was filling and was easily shareable. Super sweet gals working here, and it's right next to the beach where you can take your bowls to eat (though beware of the birds, they be peckish). We got two açaí bowls and a cold brew, and they were all great. The açaí is a blended açaí which is different from the sorbet style that I'm typically used to from Oahu and Kauai, and it's less sweet than other bowls which is a nice change. Cute little truck tucked away in a parking lot right by the beach and golf course. The girls working there were so friendly and efficient despite being so busy! We got a small açaí bowl and it was delicious. Fruit was incredibly fresh and the honey was SO naturally sweet. Look at how it glistened in my video below. We also got a smoothie (can't remember the name) but it had dragon fruit, pineapple, and blueberry (?). Tasted very fruity and sweet without artificial sweeteners and incredibly fresh. read more

An easy walk if you're staying at The Ritz Carlton in Maui. We enjoyed the morning walk for cold brew, smoothies or açaí bowl. Staff was extremely kind, and accommodating. Naturally, I was looking forward to the açaí is, and it does not disappoint. I have been obsessed with the pineapple on the island this trip, and was able to add a little pineapple to my bowl as well. I discovered the most amazing and healthy açaí bowls at Baya Bowls on my last visit Jan 2025 and it's a place I must return to each time I visit the island! It's a cute food truck tucked away in D.T. Fleming park in Lahaina and the sweetest staff ever! I always get the large açaí bowl and add pb to share with my so. Great Acai - Baya Bowls Near Kapalua Stopped by for an acai bowl and it was really good. I got one with blueberries, bananas, and peanut butter - fresh ingredients and great taste. The place is pretty popular so there was a little wait, but the staff was friendly and kept things moving. They were welcoming even though they were busy. The bowl was a good size and was delicious. Just a little over average açaí bowls! They give you two sizes to choose from, regular and large. These bowls include the classics--açaí, bananas, granola, etc. Other fruits are extra charges from 50 cents to $1. I added almond butter to mine for $1. It's a food truck in a larger food truck lot, which meant quite a bit of communal seating with the huge downside of dealing with little bugs and pesky flies. We specialize in fresh and healthy acai bowls and fruit smoothies. We source as many local ingredients as possible so we can support our local farmers, community, and the environment. Our mission is to provide Lahaina with the freshest, healthiest, and most delicious treats while also sticking to our values and protecting the environment. We use local pineapple, apple-bananas, papaya, starfruit, and lilikoi when in season. All of our cups, bowls, spoons, and straws are made from 100% biodegradable materials and all of our fruit compost goes to a local garden. We are 100% vegetarian and cater to vegan, gluten-free, and nut-free needs. Açaí Bowls: Native to Brazil, the acai berry has become known around the world as one of the best super foods. We blend this berry into a thick smoothie base, top it with organic granola, local bananas, strawberries, toasted coconut, and local Hawaiian honey. Extra topping options include kiwi, papaya, pineapple, cacao, chia seeds, honey, almonds, goji berries, peanut butter, starfruit, and lilikoi. Smoothies: Whether you are looking for sweet and creamy or green and fruity, we can do it all. I am the owner of Baya Bowls and an absolute acai lover. While living on Oahu and attending UH Manoa, I had my first taste of this amazing thing they called an acai bowl. From that day on I was hooked. The perfect combination of the cold acai mix, sweet, fresh fruit, toasted coconut and honey over the top was too good to be true. At the age of 21, I started Baya Bowls. Now, almost 10 years later, we have refined our recipes, added some amazing new additions, and grown our team. We are a women owned small business and alway prioritize buying ingredients from our local farmers and suppliers on Maui. There was a slight issue with the salmon nigiri where it tasted a little off and there was something blue on it. When we brought it to their attention, they made us a new one which was as good as the rainbow roll.

The truck itself is fun, painted with bright tropical colors and scenes, and they seem to be known for their loaded tots and bao buns. I placed my order on the touchscreen outside and then sat down to wait for my food. For lunch on this day I went with the buffalo chicken tots and the Island Piggy bao. The menu described the bao as kalua pork, BBQ sauce, tropical salsa, and pickled red onions. The buffalo chicken tots were described as buttermilk fried chicken, buffalo sauce, jack cheddar cheese, house made pickles, and ranch dressing. It took less than 10 minutes for my food to be ready and I sat down at one of the shaded picnic tables. When I opened everything up it all looked good, but I did notice that the tots were missing the house made pickles. I started with the bao and thought it was pretty good. The kalua pork was super juicy and the bao bun was light and fluffy while still holding together well. The pickled onions added a nice acidity and the tropical salsa brought good flavor. The only thing I did not notice much was the BBQ sauce. After that I dug into the tots. The tots themselves were cooked nicely with a crispy outside and soft inside. The chicken was good as well with a nice batter and the buffalo sauce added flavor while the cheese was gooey. The only thing worth noting is that the chicken was softer than expected and not very crispy. It worked since I did have the texture from the crispy tots, but it stood out. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. I would probably not order both a bao and tots again as it was a lot of food, but I would definitely come back for one or the other.

If you see this truck, do not skip it.

The fried rice was some of the best I've had, so many yummy bits and we got a half-order to share and barely made a dent! We took the rest to-go. Definitely making a stop here again next time we're in Maui!

The cinnamon rolls, though, are the real deal: soft, gooey, draped in glaze and yet somehow isn't overyly sweet, and when they're warm they just melt in your mouth. They're basically a hug in pastry form and go perfectly with a hot cup of coffee. We also tried the scones, croissants, and cookies, and they were all very tasty--but let's be honest, you're really here for the cinnamon rolls, and they know it.
