Olympia Coffee was suggested to me as a must-have for coffee lovers, and I must say, I agree with the recommendation. As a barista and coffee nerd, I am always looking for great cafes and roasteries with unique flavors and bold choices. I think Olympia does just that, while still staying on the pulse of trends in the coffee/tea scene. Everyone was very kind despite the long line (which was gone through quickly), and it gave me a moment to enjoy the scenery and green tiling around me in the lobby. Olympia is definitely a place I'd recommend! :))
Stopped by Olympia Coffee for a cup of coffee and my oh my this location is so nice. When you arrive parking can be difficult as this coffee shop is located in downtown seattle. You'll either need to park on the street or in a nearby garage. When you walk into the coffee shop it is located in lobby of a downtown skyscraper. The coffee shop feels huge, very open with all of the windows and modern. This is also a great location to work remotely if you need to get some work done. I ordered a vanilla latte which had beans on the acidic side and was excellent. Definitely recommend stopping by this coffee shop if you are in downtown Seattle near the convention center.
Finally visited this popular coffee shop and it did not disappoint. Absolutely gorgeous space - plenty of seating and tables where you can charge your devices. I was welcomed with the friendly staff behind the coffee bar and the service was quick. There was a good coffee and food menu not to mention a decent selection of pastry options. Definitely recommend!
Beautiful space and delicious coffee! There was already a queue even earlier in the morning on a weekend. This would be such a nice place to read or work with a cup.
Some friends brought us here, and I ended up ordering the Iced Lavender Latte. I really enjoyed how sweet and refreshing it was, such a perfect way to start the morning! The coffee shop itself is a bit small inside, and it can feel somewhat crowded when the line gets long. Thankfully, they also have a nice patio area, which is where we ended up sitting. It made for a much more relaxed experience and was a great spot to enjoy our drinks.
This is one of the many coffee shops within the block, and I enjoyed the drinks here! This cafe is located inside a larger hotel lobby, and the interior design is stunning. It's lofty and airy, and gorgeous green tiles of all different sizes and colors decorate the walls. We came on Memorial Day morning, and though there was a line, it went by pretty quickly. There's a mix of booth seating with small standalone tables and chairs, but most of the seats were taken. The barista/cashier was really nice about answering my questions about the pastry case. I ended up ordering a matcha latte with brown sugar syrup (half sweet) and a gruyere pull apart pastry. My friend got a regular latte with brown sugar syrup and the scallion pull apart pastry. I also bought a bag of their Morning Sun coffee beans as a souvenir, and the cashier mentioned how it was one of her favorite blends to drink and gift! That reassured me about blind buying. My matcha latte was pretty good. It had an added earthiness from the brown sugar syrup. Though it wasn't as green as the matcha lattes I'm used to drinking back in SoCal, it wasn't bad! However, I think I would skip the gruyere pull apart pastry next time. I usually don't mind gruyere in savory pastries, but this one was especially greasy. The scallion one my friend got was much tastier and a lot lighter - I'd recommend that one over the gruyere one. If I were to come back to Seattle, I'd love come back and try a sweet pastry and a different espresso drink.
The architecture inside Olympia Coffee is absolutely stunning. The wide lobby ceiling and tiles bring together an unique ambiance a lot of other cafes don't have. There was a line for about 20 minutes but it gave me time to soak in the surroundings. I ordered a 12 oz hot London fog with regular milk and really enjoyed. It was perfectly hot and sweet!
Years ago I went to the original location. Still the same fantastic coffee I remember but in more of a "to-go" setting!
Came to grab a coffee near the convention center and was not disappointed! It's located in the lobby of the building and super spacious with plenty of seating. I wish I had more time to sit around and do some work. I ordered the seasonal lavendar piper latte with oat milk. It's great that they don't charge extra for milk alternatives. I took a chance with the seasonal latte even though I don't typically like floral tastes and really enjoyed it! Also grabbed a bag of beans as a gift. Latte isn't cheap, but pretty standard price. Staff was also very friendly despite the line (which moved quickly).
Located on the bottom floor of a tower building, Olympia Coffee is a small coffee spot serving up tasting menus and delicious local pastries. This was one of the more unique stops on our Seattle adventure. The space is just a small "booth" inside a regular lobby space. There is plenty of seating throughout the building, which is a plus. My favorite thing about this place is the three different tasting options, of which I ordered the Trifecta. It had a lively espresso shot, cortado, and sidecar of brewed coffee. While the coffee wasn't the best I had in the city, it was still very good and worth the stop. The employees were efficient even though it was busy (there were a lot of them for the tiny space) and very kind. The cashier made a recommendation to order the trifecta "for here" only. Not sure if it's even possible to get it "to-go". They also had a great selection of pastries and treats from a local bakery, which I did not indulge in this time around. Great stop and a worthy addition to your Seattle coffee list if in the downtown area!
Delicious! We had iced salted brown sugar lattes and they were incredible. The staff was very nice too! The cinnamon roll was awesome and flaky and even cream cheese icing!
Such a spacious and modern coffee shop! It's located inside of a huge airy building / hotel, so there's plenty of seating for people to lounge or study in. I really wanted to bring some coffee beans back to California and this place seemed to be high on the recommended list of having the best blends. Walked out of here with the medium roast "Morning Sun" and a hot vanilla latte with low fat milk (slowly building back up my lactose tolerance). Love the subtle homemade vanilla syrup flavor with the mildness of the espresso. Just the right amount of sweetness to coffee ratio in my opinion! You can definitely taste the coffee, but it's not too strong or bitter. My boyfriend got the Jade Cloud and it was also not bitter -- had a hint of a fruity taste with the brewed green tea. Only note is the water was way too hot and almost felt like we could've burnt the leaves haha. Cute spot! Wish we had more places like this in the valley.
This was such a cute space! There were plenty of people working on their laptops on a Friday afternoon. The menu didn't have a ton of unique drinks but they did have some mochi donuts. You order at the counter and then wait for them to call your name. I got the hot chocolate and it was delicious!
Solid coffee and an AMAZING interior. There is SO MUCH seating everywhere. Multiple levels!! I absolutely loved the ambiance and how vast the space was. Definitely made me wish I was still in college when I discovered this place. It would have been so perfect for studying. The coffee is also delicious with a pretty fun menu! read more
Cute coffee shop in downtown that's perfect to catch up with your friends or coworkers! This location is in very busy downtown Seattle so i wouldn't recommend driving/parking. The coffee place is located on the first floor of a giant building inside. It will be hard to find from the outside. Their coffee price is pretty steep, i got the smallest coffee (8oz) for over $7 for their one of seasonal drinks. They rotate their seasonal menu, so your fav menu may be gone in a few weeks/months. Coffee was strong and wasn't too blend. I enjoyed the aroma. I would say service was average, it was really busy inside so everyone was trying to have people get their orders and move the line. I would come back to try different flavor since this location is walking distance from my work! read more
I was looking for coffee place after 4:00p.m. and it is hard to find. (According to the Google map, they suppose to open but two places were completely closed. Ahhh, I should to look for by Yelp at the beginning.) I was thirsty and before jump on the train, I'd like to drink something. Well, by the Yelp easy to find near me coffee shop. This place looks like coffee stand under the building but there are many tables and chairs inside the building. Open air style coffee place. I ordered 8oz iced latte, but I was told they have only 12oz cup (I couldn't listen completely) so is okay use 12oz cup. I said Okay and I thought only cup use 12oz for my 8oz order. But I received full cup of drink. Oh, nice that I thought but when I checked my receipt they charged 12oz price. Oh, well. That's okay cuz I was thirsty. My iced latte was good, anyway. read more
There are multiple Olympia Coffee shops around Seattle, but this location in particular has a very open high ceiling seating area that doubles up as a nice area to work with power outlets and lamps. I went here in the early afternoon just before a rush of crowds entered, so I didn't wait too long to order and get my coffee. I got the Tasting Menu "One and Fun" which was $6.05 before tax which is a very good value. These days if I want a latte, it's about the same if not more expensive than that, but the "One and Fun" features not only an espresso shot of the coffee beans they use, but also the seasonal cortado that uses the Hawaiian coconut syrup that is used in their seasonal latte - Haupia Latte. So I get a good variety of items to enjoy at a good value. The espresso is less bitter but more sour, and is paired with a cup of sparkling water that is fairly enjoyable. I am not a coffee snob so I can't comment how these beans are in comparison, but it was nice. The Haupia syrup cortado was very good. It gave me a taste of what their seasonal Haupia latte is, and I would happily pay for the latte if I come back in time to try it. It's a little sweet but also fairly tropical in flavor and definitely stands out from the typical regular lattes across various coffee shops. I like to seek what is beyond the typical and this place adequately fulfills my expectations. read more
Came by around the mid-morning work week since i heard about the renovations to this area. Dang, I still remember what this used to look like with the separate soup, salad kiosks in the lobby. Anyways, Olympia Coffee is pretty good, decided to get an iced coffee to check out a basic staple. Tasty coffee, nice flavor etc. Staff is friendly, quick to work on your order, line will get long depending on when you stop by. Sitting & lobby area is real nice looking, spacious, good amount of spots to sit/ work at. Depending on where you sit, there are plugs to charge up too. Overall, glad to have stopped by to enjoy a coffee while working. read more
A beautiful downtown café with perfect vibes. Airy, modern, just the right volume. Perfect for remote work or quiet chats. Spread across two floors with plenty of seating. I enjoy Olympia Coffee beans less compared to other Washington based roasters (e.g. Stamp Act, Elm Coffee Roasters). However, in terms of handcrafted beverages, the latte with salted brown sugar was lovely. Come here for the atmosphere! I always bring out of town guests here once. read more

What a beautiful location this coffee shop is in! It is in the heart of downtown Seattle inside the US bank building. It is warm and inviting. There is tons of space in this building with couches, tables, and high seating to work at. The WiFi is strong and there are outlets throughout. Great place for working and chatting. The coffee itself was great. The London fog was perfect as the tea was steep long enough. read more

Cute walk-up counter in a really cute office building. This would be a great, quiet space to work and there's plenty of seating. Service was prompt and friendly, though I did not enjoy my drink. I got a matcha latte and added sugar plum syrup. It was very very milky with barely any matcha or syrup taste coming through. Genuinely just tasted like milk with a little sugar. This would be a place where I'd probably have to ask for extra everything to get a drink that tastes how I want. read more
Great spot to have coffee! The space (an office building lobby) is beautiful, with plenty of natural light, tall ceilings, and seating options with outlets. It would be a great place to work or to meet someone for coffee. I had a cappuccino and a mochi donut (coffee or tiramisu flavored), and both were great! Service was friendly, though there was a line (~5-10 mins) and you don't see the menu until you get to the register (since the line flanks along a blank wall), and then you have to rush to read through all of the options and choose quickly. So if I could make a recommendation, it would be to give patrons access to the menu while in line so they can read through all the options and be ready to order when they get to the register. This would make for a more pleasant experience (i.e. time in line appearing to go faster, less spastic ordering experience) and speed up the ordering process for both the staff and patrons (less time spent reading while standing at the register). read more
I stopped by Olympia Coffee on a Thursday morning. It was conveniently located a short walk from my hotel and was pretty busy when I arrived. The space itself was in the lobby of an office building, but really well-designed - emerald green tiling, plush seating, plenty of natural light, etc. The line to order moved quickly and I decided to try one of their seasonal drinks, the Haupia Latte. I've never actually eaten Haupia (Hawaiian coconut pudding), but the latte was excellent - strong, flavorful, and not too sweet. The girl at the counter was friendly and service was quick. I flew into town and was looking for a solid spot to get some work done for a few hours--Olympia Coffee absolutely delivered. The open, airy space was perfect for settling in with my laptop, and the vibe was just right: not too loud, not too quiet. I ordered a dirty iced chai and it was so good--smooth, spicy, with just the right kick of espresso. Definitely a standout. What really impressed me, though, was the staff. Even with a long line, they stayed upbeat and efficient, keeping things moving without sacrificing friendliness. You can tell they know what they're doing and care about the experience. Highly recommend if you're in town and need great coffee and a good place to post up for a bit! read more

Saw this place while walking the prior evening after leaving the 5th Avenue Theater. Service was quick and cordial. They also have an excellent heath department score. There is ample seating in the large lobby of this office building. Ordered Mount Bakon breakfast burrito. It was hot, fresh, and tasty and perfect for a light breakfast. The Americano had good flavor as did the latte. Was only a couple blocks from the hotel. Would definitely return here. read more

Olympia coffee is my favorite coffee brand. I've been purchasing for 6 months now and cannot go back to anything else! This was the second location I've visited in WA. It's a stunning location. Located in lobby of first floor of building. Lots of room to find a seat and hangout with a well designed interior. The cookie I had (can't remember name I think it was moon something) was good. Espresso slightly sour but otherwise decent pull. Lots of different types of drinks here that people seem to be getting so perhaps the flavored drinks or ice coffees might be the better route. I love this place. Great 3rd space. Plenty of space to work on your laptop & lots of cozy spots if you want a more intimate or private spot. Coffee is great. Staff is super nice. There's food spots in there too to meet quick bites, Togo or sit down spots. read more

Came in on a Saturday morning for some lattes. The iced matcha latte was soooo good along with the perfect vanilla latte. The service was quick and easy as this is a coffee bar in a lobby. They have plenty of tables and cozy work spaces. The interior of this lobby was beautiful. I'd recommend this place for anyone in search of a work space or just need somewhere to stop by for a quick coffee. read more

This coffee window is inside of a larger building, which was beautiful, spacious and festive -- stopped by for a morning catchup with a friend and there was plenty of space to sit. Most folks seem to take their coffee to-go, but there's a cozy little seating area. The staff here is super sweet -- I got the Mushroom Pastry (which was so delicious) and a London Fog (which I was was steeped a smidge longer) but overall both were good. I'd definitely come back here to work, bring a book or chat with a pal. read more

Pricey but good coffee, and a really nice space to work in or catch up with friends! The actual place you order is tiny but this is located in a larger building which has so much seating around that is also really nice. I got an oat milk cappuccino which was quite good, but pretty pricey for the size of the drink itself. I would come back if I needed a good spot to work though! read more

Finally tried this coffee place today! We came at a poppin time because there was a LINE! It was pretty busy for them! Their coffee to go cups are SO cute and artistic! The staff taking coffee orders was so nice! He made sure our names were spelled right and asked for spelling. When it's busy, they do need a number called out louder or have a ticket or a mic...for right now, you just have to monitor that your order is on the counter. They have a couple of specials, as well as the ordinary cappuccino, latte, mocha, you name it! They also sell mochi donuts!!! So goood! I got a raspberry one. They also sell pastries. I'll definitely come back! Love how it's in the US Bank/ Cedar Hall...totally looks like you're aboard the train station etc. read more
I had a lovely experience at Olympia Coffee. They had a fun variety of drinks and yummy pastries to try. Their cinnamon roll was actually the highlight of what we tried! It was warm and comforting and not overly sweet. I got the matcha lavendar lemonade which was good but on the sweet side.
