I go this place several times a week, and the staff treats me very well and we learned each other names. I had no problems with the food although as I get older my appetite for certain foods has changed but they make it work for me. The food is great, clean place, bath rooms are always clean and just a very laid back atmosphere. So yes I am happy. The menu is confusing as by the name it looks like an Indian place but 80% of the menu is American food or even Greek. My first time here I got the gyro which was alright but nothing special. The 2nd time I got an Indian dish which I thought would be their specialty, but it was also very uneventful, really bland, sauce had a really weird aftertaste which I guessed was from using some sort of canned sauce. Overall not bad but I'm not sure why their menu is 500 items if they don't excel at them. My recent meal gets a 3.5, but their pizza is another good slice in Parkville. I have complaints about this place, including a really lousy website, strip mall parking, old booths with matching gaff tape to cover the holes and a worker lounge area in the back which makes me feel uncomfortable when I walk in because they stare as you walk up to order, but let me tell you it has it pluses as well. The foods I have tried have not disappointed me. I enjoyed the cheese steak, the onion rings were so-so, but the pizza by the slice or as a whole has a good New York City like crust. It folds well, does not spilled buckets of grease and the crust stays fresh and crunchy to the end. When I ordered the cheese was not overwhelming, it simply drizzled past the side of the slice ends. Check for yourself, 3.5 or better is what you should get. Just be aware you are not paying for a cheapy pizza-pizza you are asking for a piece of pizza, so expect the difference in the cost too. read more

Well. Today is my birthday 12/26/2021. I won't say my age but it's past 65. All I wanted for my birthday was a GOOD cold cut sub from Olympia. I have had their subs before and loved them . #1 we ordered the sub. #2 at 1 hour later I called to see what the hold up was. The person that answered the phone said "the driver just left it will be 15-20 minutes. Now mind you we are 1.5 miles away. Finally my sub arrived. I opened it and gave my husband his half. Sat down to eat and the roll was soggy. How could a roll get soggy if there was no liquid on it in that short of distance?? I called the store asked for the manager told him the problem and his response was. What do you want me to do about it?. I had my friend taste the Chicken Tikka and rice. I ranted and raved about finally she tried it. She was blown away. Now we get that at Olympia Masala when she us in town . Went yesterday it was great. It comes with nice hot aromatic basmati rice and fresh naan. I had the garlic naan there in the past and it too was great! I love their lasagna and homemade meatballs! They very homemade tasting and delicious. Tonight I will be having a meatball parm sub, homemade rice pudding and a cold bottle of Coke. 3.5 stars. This is a combo Indian and Greek restaurant, so I'm obviously gonna go in for that concept. I haven't had the Indian food yet, but tried some of the Greek/American stuff. First up- the crab dip was great and also well-priced at $9. It is served with naan. The portion size was good, I actually could have used another piece of naan cause there was so much dip. I also tried a Greek salad (good, really liked the house Greek dressing) and the spanakopita. I was expecting some lame frozen grocery store-style spanakopita but it was actually homemade and really good! Also a good portion size. The only miss, I would say, was the chicken souvlaki. This to me was more just a chicken wrap. It was just a regular chicken breast that you would find in any wrap, slathered in copious yogurt/sour cream sauce and a mixture of tomatoes and onions that honestly tasted like pico de gallo- the whole thing could have been a taco lol. Our family has patronized this place for event catering in the past, but we never really considered it for delivery just because there are other places that offer similar fare that are closer to our house, but we decided to give it a shot because, obviously, the number of places open has gone down in the current situation. Let me start off by saying, the food is a step above other restaurants similar to it. My family and i order from here almost every Friday. We're from Massachusetts and their pizza is the closest to pizza back home. The 1 Star is for all the inconsistencies and a conversation i just had with the General Manager Nate. I told Nate about some previous problems. We've had orders in the past that were not made to preference, whether a forgotten pizza topping, not cooking the pizza well done, and on more than one occasion our pizzas weren't sliced. But tonight takes the cake. I will say, i was put on hold for 2 minutes when i called, which is fine. I'll reiterate, we like the place. My dad picked the pizza up, brings it home, and first thing we notice was the lack of bacon. Typically if we just mention it next time we go in, because the counter person knows him, they'll hook us up that time so it equals out. We were starving tonight and dug right in. I'm halfway through the pizza and realize there isn't any sauce. I did request "light sauce" as i always do, so i know the cooks are capable of (sometimes they forget about it...but i let it slide) but there's no sauce. So i called and the counter person was super understanding, as she always is, but this time our $16 pizza was completely wrong. We were offered a fresh pizza or a $5 credit. For repeat customers $5 is a slap in the face and i was informed that's what the manager told her. So i asked to speak to the manager. Mind you, I'm being super polite, I've been on the receiving end of "can i speak to you manager?" As both the employee and manager. Now the fun part! I'm talking to Nate about the small mistakes in the past. I'm giving him valuable feedback in a calm and polite way. When i tell him about tonight's pizza he argued with me. Nate fought me that there was sauce on my pizza and defended his cooks. I can commend him for defending his employee but A, i wasn't attacking his employee and B, there's no sauce. His tone was all wrong he was argumentative, condescending, and dismissive. When I mention Nate's tone and context he gets even more flustered. He then cuts me off and explains that he'll just make me a new pizza. "I'll just make it regular for you..,actually, I'll use a little less sauce, it might not be as dry as you like it." This is when i got angry. Still being as calm as i can i called Nate out, again, on his tone and the snarky comment about me liking my pizza dry (btw, there's enough grease on the sauceless pizza that it's still not dry). He didn't even apologize or even try to deescalate the situation and he even managed to make it worse. Nate, if you're reading this, if you are the general manager, I'll reiterate that your customer service skills can use some work. When you replied you'd take it that under advisement i could hear your eyes rolling. End of story, if you expect to be treated with respect, don't talk to anyone except the counter girls. Delivery was speedy! Food was packaged very well as to not spill a drop of their precious work. The Chicken Tikka Masala was order mild, it didn't have any spicy flavor to it so if you can't stomach it then order mild. Decent amount of chicken in the masala, the rice was cooked well. The naan bread was delicious and warm. The gyro platter combo was also a delicious treat. The lamb was seasoned right and tasty! The tzatzki sauce was also fresh and very very good. Order here in the past and it was good. However, this time not so much. We ordered thru eat24, a soulvaki platter, an Italian cold cut meal with fries, house dressing on side and a sprite. Order came in about 50 mins. Soulvaki platter was right just extremely soggy, extra sauces on side etc. The sub had mayo on it, no fries, no house dressing, and no sprite. The driver also said no signature needed, and ran off to his car. We called them and spoke to one woman who could not understand anything we were saying. Until finally a guy got on the phone and somewhat addressed the issue. One hour later, a sub that has the house dressing on the sub and not side, cold undercooked fries and a sprite arrived at the door. The delivery driver left so fast.
