Customer service before I booked was great as well. They quickly answered all my questions. You can tell this company is committed to quality product and helping you create a memorable trip. I also loved the email list with tips and ideas. They really cover it all! The van had 220,000 miles on it but ran like a gem so clearly serviced regularly. Great visibility in the windows (no real blind spots while driving) and the turning radius of the maverick wasn't bad at all. If you go over mileage, the fees didn't kill you either. 10/10 recommend booking here and no they didn't beg me to write this review... I just love talking about my trip and this great van company!!!! Tip: make sure you bring an aux cord, dongle if you have an iphone and an AV car charger for your devices. You can always buy the aux cord as an extra if you need it! Don't forget to add a $5 propane tank. Finally, when returning the van, there are 2 gas stations near by... if passing the Escape Campervan property on your right, go past it to fill up. The one right off the high way before arriving there is way over priced!

It had nearly 300,000 miles. It didn't have any modern amenities (e.g. no carplay or gps interface). They also nickle and dime you for add-ons which is frustrating. I think there are too many other private campervan rental options (e.g. Outdoorsy) at a competitive price point with modern vehicles for us to use Escape again.

The owners were very particular about the cleanliness, everything that went into the camper was sanitized. The owners provided us a hassle-free and stress-free experience. They supplied all the basic amenities from kitchenware, towels, vacuum, trash bags, seasonings, even shampoo/conditioner and hand sanitizers, all we had to bring were foods and clothes. Even more, they delivered the camper to the RV park, set it all up, taught me how to operate it, even refilled one of the empty propane tanks in the middle of our week-long stay. The company tried to give us a shorter RV than what we rented, we declined that one and they pulled an RV from "Off Fleet". We took it and quickly discovered that the refrigerator did not work and could not be repaired. We wound up having to store our food in coolers for the duration of our two week trip. They did try to resolve the issue but it was not fixable. Additionally, our toilet in the RV clogged. EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. We asked for a discount when we dropped off the RV and were told we had to wait to hear from the corporate office, specifically Victoria. Since we returned two weeks ago, we haven't heard a single thing from the company. Its a really disappointing experience. DO NOT RENT FROM APOLLO.

The techs were friendly and to the point. We met the owner, a Mr. O'Neil who was happy to discuss the units specs with me. I am an automotive enthusiast and like to know what's under the hood, he answered all of my questions. Stephanie, the person handling our contract was very good too. Thank all of you! The rental outlet relocated since the time we made the reservation to the time of us picking up the unit. FYI, the current location is: 140 134th Street South, Parkland, Tacoma, Washington, 98444 The place is nothing to look at but it is very efficient and convenient to get to. We rented an Indie Campers RV for a 6-day, one-way road trip across the country. We specifically…read moreneeded a one-way rental, and Indie Campers was the only company we found that offered the route we needed, so unfortunately, we didn't have many options when it came to choosing a rental company. Thankfully, we did not experience any serious mechanical issues that prevented us from completing our trip, but there were a significant number of smaller maintenance, cleanliness, and functionality issues that really impacted our experience. Some of the issues we encountered: * Side window would not stay closed * Side door would not open from the outside (so inconvenient with 2 dogs) * Refrigerator door kept swinging open while driving * Refrigerator door panel fell off * Bottom refrigerator panel fell off * No windshield washer fluid * Floors were dirty when we picked up the RV * Windows were covered in greasy hand and fingerprints * Stove and countertops had not been properly cleaned * Shower curtain was ripped * Closet door handle was broken * Black water tank sensor continuously showed 3/4 full even after we emptied the tank several times * AC/coolant was leaking continuously * Roof vent leaked water into the van * Various panels and fixtures were loose or falling off For a rental that is marketed as being ready for a road trip, we expected the RV to be clean, properly maintained, and fully functional upon pickup. Instead, we spent a lot of time dealing with things that should have been addressed before the vehicle was rented to us. A more thorough inspection and cleaning process would have prevented a lot of the frustration we experienced. Overall, we made it a really positive experience and there was nothing seriously wrong with the RV. If you need a one-way rental it's a good option.

Fast forward a week and half and no refund. I have emailed them and their reps are from overseas so customer service isn't great. A bunch of copy and paste responses. No tailoring to match your specific needs or inquiries. I'll attempt to dispute the charges with my bank and update if any further issues. They're hard to get assistance from. The HQ is overseas. Which probably explains the lack of support.
