Escape Campervans EXCEEDED my expectations by far! Customer service before I booked was great as well. They quickly answered all my questions. You can tell this company is committed to quality product and helping you create a memorable trip. I also loved the email list with tips and ideas. They really cover it all! The van had 220,000 miles on it but ran like a gem so clearly serviced regularly. Great visibility in the windows (no real blind spots while driving) and the turning radius of the maverick wasn't bad at all. If you go over mileage, the fees didn't kill you either. 10/10 recommend booking here and no they didn't beg me to write this review... I just love talking about my trip and this great van company!!!! Tip: make sure you bring an aux cord, dongle if you have an iphone and an AV car charger for your devices. You can always buy the aux cord as an extra if you need it! Don't forget to add a $5 propane tank. Finally, when returning the van, there are 2 gas stations near by... if passing the Escape Campervan property on your right, go past it to fill up. The one right off the high way before arriving there is way over priced!

Overall we had a good experience with Escape Campervans in Seattle. We had no real issues, but…read morethink the price is too high for what you get. Our pickup / drop off was ok. We were frustrated that we had to schedule a specific pick-up time and our pick-up was pushed later in the afternoon. This disrupted our day 1 plans and were not able to complete the hike we wanted to do. The van worked well for us. Highly recommend getting the rooftop tent. The van was old. It had nearly 300,000 miles. It didn't have any modern amenities (e.g. no carplay or gps interface). They also nickle and dime you for add-ons which is frustrating. I think there are too many other private campervan rental options (e.g. Outdoorsy) at a competitive price point with modern vehicles for us to use Escape again.

Luck was on our side, as we were their first customers to enjoy their brand new 2021 36ft Reflection. We had a family of 5 (3 adults, 2 kids). The owners were very particular about the cleanliness, everything that went into the camper was sanitized. The owners provided us a hassle-free and stress-free experience. They supplied all the basic amenities from kitchenware, towels, vacuum, trash bags, seasonings, even shampoo/conditioner and hand sanitizers, all we had to bring were foods and clothes. Even more, they delivered the camper to the RV park, set it all up, taught me how to operate it, even refilled one of the empty propane tanks in the middle of our week-long stay. Their pricing is very competitive, for the services that they provided. We want to truly thank the owners for such a good memorable trip. Highly recommended!

DO NOT RENT AN RV FROM APOLLO…read more If I could give them negative stars I would. We arrived on schedule to pickup our RV to find a disorganized and frankly rude experience. The company tried to give us a shorter RV than what we rented, we declined that one and they pulled an RV from "Off Fleet". We took it and quickly discovered that the refrigerator did not work and could not be repaired. We wound up having to store our food in coolers for the duration of our two week trip. They did try to resolve the issue but it was not fixable. Additionally, our toilet in the RV clogged. EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. We asked for a discount when we dropped off the RV and were told we had to wait to hear from the corporate office, specifically Victoria. Since we returned two weeks ago, we haven't heard a single thing from the company. Its a really disappointing experience. DO NOT RENT FROM APOLLO.

The techs were friendly and to the point. We met the owner, a Mr. O'Neil who was happy to discuss the units specs with me. I am an automotive enthusiast and like to know what's under the hood, he answered all of my questions. Stephanie, the person handling our contract was very good too. Thank all of you! The rental outlet relocated since the time we made the reservation to the time of us picking up the unit. FYI, the current location is: 140 134th Street South, Parkland, Tacoma, Washington, 98444 The place is nothing to look at but it is very efficient and convenient to get to. I don't want to pay for the overhead of a fancy showroom anyway. Bottom line, would I rent from Apollo again? Yes, absolutely.

Due to this, we didn't get to out camping destination till midnight. Note, that after finally getting the RV we had to do extra cleaning, as it was not totally clean. The RV performed well and we tried to enjoy the rest of our trip. On return I spoke with the manage about not being happy with the pickup wait time and he said we can $50 for every hour they are late on providing us the RV, and that its stated in our contract. Well, I called the customer several line and filed a complaint and I filed one online. Guess what....we are still waiting for a refund!! They keep saying they are investigating it. What is there to investigate? The contract shows the time we got the RV. Where's my damn money?!?! Use caution with this company!!!!!

This is a review I did everything in my power not to write. Everything pre-pick up worked great…read morewith I.C. The problems started once the trip began. 1st, the valve that connects the municipal water to the RV broke. Despite repair shops telling me that RV companies pay them directly, I was OK paying upfront. But IndieCampers wanted to reimburse me 15 days AFTER I return the car. After raising hell, they reimbursed me. From day 1, the heater did not work (despite it being published as one of the amenities of the car). We complained multiple times via email and Whatsapp, documented everything and reported it when we returned the car. We felt that we deserved a partial reimbursement since it was freezing at night and we did not have heat, despite it being promised. When we got back, after a back and forth via email where we should proof of our communications, we were promised 215EUR reimbursement (see image attached). However, they only provided a 100EUR reimbursement. When I called them out on it multiple times via email, showing them proof of their own emails saying they approved 215EUR reimbursement, I got silence, up until today (47 days after returning the car), where they basically say "yeah, we promised, but it ain´t going to happen". Things happen on a trip, and especially in an RV. I get that. But the fact that they treat customers like this after they pay $3K+ drives me crazy. I was hoping they would resolve it via email and stick to their (written) commitment, but since they decided not to, I am left no choice but to share this experience with everyone. TL:DR - book elsewhere.
