    8. Gyro Meat & Eggs

This place is packed!! For good reason!! We waited 30 min on a frigid Saturday morning. Our server was top notch! I got the gyro meat egg platter and cohort got angus burger and eggs. He loved the sautéed onions!! The tzatziki was superb! Great breakfast! Wonderful family vibes

This little hole in the wall diner was packed Sunday morning and for good reason! I was quickly greeted by a kind hostess who handed me a buzzer to wait for a table. About 15 minutes later we were sat at a booth and quickly again greeted by our waitress. She was incredible, keeping us topped up on coffee and water throughout the whole meal. We all ended up ordering the Olympic mama bowl which was phenomenal! I talked my husband into splitting a pancake with me and it was delicious as well. Everything was warm perfectly seasoned and deliciously fluffy. I can't wait to come back to this little spot

Service here was outstanding. Sarah did a fantastic job. We were greeted quickly, seated and had our beverages in just a few minutes. Sarah offered the option for my potatoes to be a bit crispier...yay! And, as promised, the rye bread was fantastic. I had the #1 with two eggs and bacon, while my husband had the hungry man. I also was able to add a cup of grits..yum! The place is busy, but so friendly. There is the chatter of happy customers. Very welcoming and would come back again if I was in the area

    Olympic Corned Beef & Hash

The food was awesome. The service was friendly and nice. They answered all the questions we had about the menu and even allowed a sub substitution of their breakfast item. The ambience was really relaxed and quiet. You could hear the person sitting across from you with no issues. The corn beef and hash is made from scratch which is a plus in my book. Will definitely go back when I'm in the area.

Great diner with friendly workers!! As soon as I walked in, I felt very welcomed. We checked in with the host for a table and there was a little wait but I love that they give you a buzzer to let you know when the table is ready. The food tasted good but the pancakes were what stood out the most to me. They are big and fluffy and you can taste the vanilla! The only negative was that some of the benches are torn up a bit from wear and tear but overall great place.

Holy moly what a fantastic breakfast place. And reading the menu, I am sure it is a wonderful lunch place and simply a marvelous place to have dinner. This was our first stop after I had a bit of minor surgery in the Columbus area. I couldn't have asked for a better location to relax, unwind, and enjoy one of the most flavorful meals. I think I've ever had. My wife and I were both able to enjoy the euro omelette with the addition of spinach. Everything had such tremendous flavor, the portions were generous, and it seemed our coffee cup could never run dry before they were there to refill it again with some of the best coffee I've had in a while. We had a moment to speak with one of the owners, and she shared with us both she and her husband were the proud owners of this wonderful restaurant. We wanted to let her know that our experience was fabulous and that we couldn't wait to come back for another trip. Oh, I'm not going to schedule another surgery, I believe we'll just make a special trip to enjoy another fine dining experience at this wonderful establishment. You don't wanna miss this, stop and give them a shot and I'm sure you won't be disappointed.!

We were visiting the area and had no idea where to go for breakfast. Our hotel desk associate suggested Olympic Diner as it is a local favorite. The interior is ...... well, like a diner, just not one of those ones that looks like an old airstream. We didn't expect anything more than that.... As it is a diner. Looked like a scene from Corner Gas really. We ordered our typical breakfast, 2 eggs over medium, bacon, hash browns and rye toast. Nothing special, but everything was very good as though we had cooked it at home.... But no cleanup. Our server was attentive and friendly. You could tell that she's made many friends with the customers. Total for breakfast including tip was $20. Can't beat that. And, I don't care for chain restaurants when I can eat local.

I love homemade corned beef hash with poached eggs and they did not disappoint. The breakfast was delicious. The serving was huge! My husband had a meat filled omelette which he totally enjoyed. The service was on point and the restaurant was quiet and conducive to conversation. I would definitely come back.

I may have eaten here twice this week. It's that good. And the service is great. Smiling, happy servers. And the owner typically checks in and thanks us for our business. I had the #6 breakfast platter with smoked sausage. Their waffles are also very good. And the cod Sandwich is popular with my group. The corned beef hash is different than what you might be used to with large slices of corned beef, bell peppers and onions. Very lean. I'm a fan and will be back.

We popped in here for breakfast after talking about going to this place for years. For some reason it just always skips our mind! So happy we finally stopped in. We love diners and we love breakfast and brunch. I will say, it was SO hot in there lol. It was a weird warmer day seasonally but that was a little but of a struggle. Aside from that. The service and the food were great! I got the corned beef hash. I'm alittle but of a sucker for corned beef hash. I saw a few people with complaints that it wasn't the traditional kind of corned beef hash that they are used to so it wasn't for them. To put it bluntly, if you're looking for a place that serves the corned beef hash that comes in a can and served off the griddle then it's probably not for you. This is legit fresh corned beef sliced up and chunked up and fried up with eggs and potatoes and onions. It's delicious. My husband got the mama bowl and loved it. We will definitely be back to try other things!!!

I opted for the Por que no el Puerco on the cashier-recommended pretzel bun. The flavors and the layers were sensational. A great bite without being too heavy or too greasy. The pretzel bun was also a great choice - some salt but not trying to actively dehydrate you with every bite. The Bear bottled latte was also quite good. It was a very unique flavor profile with obviously lots of banana but it took a little getting used to being mixed with the bitterness of the coffee and some of the nuttiness of the hazelnut and oat milk. I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to get it again, but with the limited coffee options here, I wouldn't not get it either. Overall, a really solid place to stop. Not necessarily the best place to go if you're looking for breakfast AND coffee, but certainly a great local joint to check out!

The drink cooler was not very cold so drinks were not enjoyable. They told us they were out of French Toast after we ordered and paid. We switched to grilled cheese which they said was more expensive. When we got to our table we realized that the grilled cheese was $5.80 less than the French toast so after a little debate my wife went up to the counter and explained it and the guy offered her some of the last of the donuts, my wife said no thanks and the guy gave her a five dollar bill. The grilled cheese was not good. My breakfast sandwich was warm and not too bad. It had bacon with a maple taste. The biscuit was fresh but not sure it was made on site. The total bill for the sandwiches, no sides, and a dozen donuts was about $50, $45, counting the $5 back. It felt about $20 overpriced for what we got.
