This place doesn't look very modern but this place makes the best donuts, also the best croissants !! Recommend to try the breakfast croissants! The service is always good and fast

My partner put me on this place because it's in his neighborhood and he's been coming here since he was young. We come here every time we're heading out for a road trip to grab a croissant sandwich to eat in the car. Prices are super reasonable, theres some seating inside, and theres a lot of parking. The croissant sandwich is always so good and the family that works this place is very kind and hardworking! Will be back o7

Holy smokes, a dozen donut holes for $2.50, this place is so good!! Their croissant bacon egg sandwich is amazing. The owners are also super friendly! A must visit!

    Glazed donut

Another quiet shop on Valley. The lady at the front is always nice and she always gives me extra donut holes where in come and order anything over 10-15$ (since they need to get rid of them by end of day). The donuts here are just OK and sometimes variable. The glazed raised donut is always great, but the chocolate glazed one is a hit or miss. Personally I don't like the chocolate one anymore so I get the glazed ones only. The iced coffee is phenomenal, good strength and sweetness and always gives me a good kick. I have yet to try the sandwiches but I have heard good things. Looking to come back soon.

    No. 12 Coconut smoothie y'all

What a perfect example of a hole in the wall filled with delicious pastries, donuts, fruit teas, smoothies, and even sub sandwiches. Family owned and operated by a husband and wife team who are equally friendly and adorable. The quality of the massive croissant is super fresh while achieving the balance of flaky yet tender. A meal in and of itself if you want. The coconut smoothie transported me to Bahamas vacations drinking straight out of a creamy coconut. Magic is created when food conjures up these things. Was reported that their home brewed coffee was good, as was their plain glazed donut. It was soft, very light and sweet, and did not make the consumer feel like they had over indulged. Look forward to seeing them again and sampling the plethora of beauties they have to offer! You should too!

Chicken Salad Hoagie with lettuce, tomato, and avocado....jalapeño on the side! $5.75. Pretty good!

Olympic Donut No 15???? What the hell is it? Is it a boba place? A donut place? A sandwich shop? Well it's all of the above! You can get tea, coffee, boba (lots of to go orders for this so it must be good), donuts, and sandwiches here. I was craving Tony's Sub's pastrami sandwich but they were kinda busy. I didn't want to wait so I decided to try one of the sandwiches here since they were right next door. When I walked in there were only four people in the restaurant eating ice cream. I ordered a chicken salad hoagie with avocado and as I sat there waiting for the Asian lady to make it, I started regretting my decision. 'Only four customers in here while next door is busy AND they're eating ice cream. What have I done??!?!?! I hope I don't get food poisoning.' Less than 10 minutes later my sandwich appeared and it looked pretty good. To ease my fear, I examined it thoroughly. Happy to report it was a really good chicken salad hoagie! The roll was nicely toasted. Having worked at a sandwich shop in HS I can tell if the ingredients/bread are not fresh or a few days old. For a place that doesn't look so busy, this roll was really fresh. All the veggies (lettuce, tomato, and onions) were freshly sliced too including the avocado. And NO extra charge for the avocado. They must've not gotten the "East LA memo" to charge extra like every other restaurant in East LA! Plenty of parking in their lot and on the street. As for the service, it was good and fast enough. The Asian lady might not small talk you with mundane crap but she can make a good sandwich. Only problem with this place is the selection is limited. Just ham, turkey, tuna salad, chicken salad, and breakfast sandwiches (ie. egg croissant sandwich). And the best part is, the sandwiches/hoagies are $5.75 or less which includes tax.

I'm from the Bay Area but I've been to Cafe Dulce several times. My wife and I really like their Hong Kong Tea Latte and their Matcha drink, as well as their various donuts and baked goods. In the morning rush they can be a little busy but the staff work hard. On a recent visit I saw people eating their steak breakfast burritos, so I ordered one for myself and a coworker. The burritos were reasonable size, the steak was seasoned well, and the breakfast burrito had potatoes in it (I only like breakfast burritos that have potatoes/hash browns/tots in it). Keep supporting the classics, not just because they've been around for a while, but because they have strong products and service.

Mochi Twist ($5)-- Nice and dense mochi texture? I guess it's hard to describe but it's not hollow and airy like a typical donut. There's some chew to it. And it's not too sweet! Blueberry Roti ($4)-- Flaky crumble on top and blueberry jam?? YES YESSSS. I liked this so much I'd definitely go back for it. Blueberry jam is so underrated and it's rare to find it in a pastry! Makes for a good sweet lil treat. Hot latte ($5)-- Perfect!! No complaints. Not too milky, not too light. Good ratio. I was actually kind of worried ordering a latte because not every place does it right but it's good here! Iced blueberry matcha ($6?)-- I see lots of good things about this drink on here but ooooooof... it missed the mark and by a LOOOT too. It was green sweet cereal milk. Where's the matcha? Where's the blueberry? It was so confusing because I see the green and I know I ordered matcha... but it's just sweet milk! And it's not even blueberry flavored milk. Did they forget the blueberry jam? Syrup? Whatever they use? Because it just tastes like the milk after a bowl of Frosted Flakes or something like that. Very sad, very disappointing. Ended up tossing after a couple sips. ANDDD for those matcha purists this is NOOOT the place for you! They have it pre mixed in a milk gallon. So we just saw green milk coming out of a gallon into this cup like yeppppp ok expectations immediately lowered. Anyways, hot latte is good and the 2 pastries I got were good! Steer clear of the matcha!!!

It's light and fresh, not like the fake, overly sweet crap you get at most bakeries here in the US. I think I've ordered from them 6 times in the last two weeks, which probably says it all. Flour Fresh Creme Donut has been around for three years now, so that says a lot about how much people like what they have to offer. I naively went in looking for a traditional ring donut. You won't find anything like that here. They primarily have the Korean-style fresh cream donuts. Again, I was looking for a traditional donut, and the closest thing I saw was the flour twist donut. It was nothing like a glazed twist donut; the only similarity was that it was twisted. It seemed to be baked, not fried. It was very good quality, but I really messed up by not getting a creme-filled donut instead. My friend had a pecan roll and loved it. The quality of the product here is top tier for sure. The prices are premium, but the quality matches the price. They also sell sandwiches as well as coffee and tea drinks. I will certainly go back and try one of the many creme-filled donuts.
