On ambiance, King's Donut & Deli (Alhambra) is comfortable enough. It's well-ventilated and airy, but there's only one table with a chair. I also appreciated the hand sanitizer bottle. Service with a smile is what you will receive here. We just left 7-11 with some hot coffee and decided a donut was needed to accommodate the hot drink. They also offer breakfast croissants but my favorite item to order is a Ham and cheese croissant. read more

My cafesito is always on point and the owner is friendly and always welcoming. I usually call in for breakfast sandwiches which are pretty good the only thing I might complain about are that they but raw jalapeños instead of regular vinegar jalapeños on my sandwich when ask to add jalapeños. Came here for the ever so famous custard & cream puffs. You can get custard filling or cream filling. Got custard 6 for $5. They come semi frozen, so I guess you have to wait until they thaw out. I had random cravings for just a simple bagel with cream cheese. This spot makes it perfectly from the crunch when you first bite into it to the perfect amount of cream cheese put in there. So good I'm so happy that I found such a perfectly toasted bagel spot. They have so many more sandwiches and burgers too, a big menu to choose from here. Great Food, But the Price Hike Stands Out! Still one of my favorite spots. The food and service are just as good, but I noticed prices went up recently. Since the new ownership took over, items like the croissant sandwich jumped from around $5 to $7.50. The customer service is great. The man who has always helped my boyfriend and I is also so kind. We always go in for their iced coffees (fyi if you like coffee, it gives you a great little kick) and donuts, which are also fresh. I like to come here before or after church. The staff is really nice and the food is delicious. I usually let the kids choose whatever flavor they want. As a kid, I always begged my parents to take me to King's Donut & Deli for a glazed donut. I also grew up on their cream puffs. I haven't been to King's in years, so last week I decided to stop by for a HAM, EGG, & CHEESE SANDWICH WITH PICKLED JALAPENO (8.5/10) and oh my goodness...for $4.50 after tax, you get a humongous breakfast sandwich made with qualityyy ingredients. The toasted bread is pillowy soft inside, the sliced ham and cheese have me wondering why I don't eat more H&C sandwiches, the egg is simple yet essential, and the pickled jalapenos add a nice pop of acidity with a hint of spice. I'm so glad I found a fantastic breakfast sandwich in my childhood donut shop. Will definitely be back for more! Also, great parking situation here. King's shares a parking lot with 7-11 and a few other stores and there are always open spots. Fast, Delicious, Inexpensive and Amazing Customer Service!!! I used to go to Starbucks on Valley to get breakfast. Not only did it take forever, the sandwiches are reheated and the coffee is way overpriced. You know it's true! Then I found King Donut. The sandwiches are freshly made and the bread is to die for!!!! The Vietnamese iced coffee is perfect and definitely helps with these hot summer days. And don't get me started on the donuts. So many delicious types to choose from. The best part about King Donut is the speed. Your drinks and food are made so efficiently and perfectly it's almost like a miracle. Pleasantly surprised! Boyfriend was dropping me off for work and we wanted to stop by somewhere quick for breakfast. I got the chocolate twist donut and it was on the thick and doughy side without much grease which is exactly how I like them! Great little hole in the wall. I can always count on them whenever I'm craving boba, slushies, sandwiches, or sweets. They now have installed one of those COVID-safe screens as a precautionary measure while still in business. They are always friendly and make me feel welcomed and always tell me to come back. I actually live close by, and wanted to try the juices few doors down at the new Michoacana's but we're unfortunately closed, and King Donut's came through. 10/10 would recommend as your neighborhood friendly donut shop! read more

The cream taste very light and definitely a win with friends, family and work colleagues. We've been going here for years because wife ad husband team was very nice and always gave us extra donut when we got dozen. Last year, I was told original owner opened another shop somewhere else and someone else is taking care of this one. New people are not friendly and does not give out any "extra" no matter how much you buy. This morning I was craving for raisin croissant so I stopped by. It's supposed to be crispy but it was stale. I had to put in toaster oven to get it crispy again. I have feeling they gave me yesterday's. I had it before with the original owner and it wasn't like this. And also now there's very limited selection eventhough I went early in the morning. I will never go back to this place again. I asked for glazed donuts. instead they gave me a mix of glazed and cake but then charged me for the higher price of 2 dozen glazed. On top of all that, after I got back to the car, discovered they had shorted me on one of the dozen by giving me only 11. When confronted, it was "sorry", gave me the additional donut and made no effort to make up for their mistake.
