I've been to Olympus Spa a couple of times now, and it's always such a relaxing and rejuvenating experience for me. It truly feels like a reset every time I go--both mentally and physically. Pro tip: go on a Wednesday! If you enter between 4-7 PM, you can get a ticket for their 7 PM drawing. They pick 5 winners, and if you're chosen, you get to spin a prize wheel. The best prize is a free day pass--and I actually won one!! The whole experience is calming, fun, and totally worth it. Definitely one of my go-to spots when I need to unwind

Since I can't take picture in the spa. This is another picture from its cafe. Shrimp Fried Rice -blen :( Added shrimp, cost $2.

I'm annoyed how crowded the the pool are. Not everyone could sit, so they stood in the middle of the pool. It's just 10 am on Monday. Please limit how many people can enter the place. So, I went to tea room, ordered tea so I can have some quite time. The room was empty. Great. Not for long. 5 mnts sitting here, the restaurant let 4 other ladies to eat lunch in this room! So all tables are packed and started become noisy too. Very dissapointed. Is this a spa??? I think the owner need to reevaluate this. Is it all about money? Please read "About Us" why this place was opened in the first place. Just so you know, it does't feel that way anymore.

I give this place a five star. I do six stars if I could this little Korean spa is amazing. They have several rooms the charcoal room assault room at reading room a children room, Meditation room, a cabin room and a mud and sage room. I think then they have several different pools from cold to hot hot and the scrub. I will tell everybody to book the scrub body scrub so so so so good top-tier A1 go there and get the scrub and then the day pass you'll thank me later. there's even a restaurant that has the yummy food and a tea room. Go try it out.

Ask the Community - Olympus Spa

    Plus size robes?

Yes! Our robes comfortably fit up to about a 3x, and we're happy to help find accommodations if you need a larger size.

Are men allowed to go here as well?

    No men inside the spa.

I'm a registered nurse and it would be great to take a group of my nurse friends here since we all could use some R&R. I read you're interested in women's physical health and it made me wonder if my co-ed (women and men) colleagues couldn't all come?

Their policy is it is women only.

    Do they provide sandals/slippers/flip flops?

    No.

Can you have tattoos? I was told I may not be allowed in because of them but was wondering if this was really a rule or a myth?

I am covered in tattoos and I've visited the spa several times. I've seen plenty of other ladies with tattoos too. Thus sounds like a made up lie! :(

How many towels do you get?

They give you a larger and a smaller towel but I've asked for an extra and they accommodate me without questions

For people who've been to both the Lynnwood and Tacoma locations- which is better?

    Is this a children's spa?

Not sure if they are allowed but I wouldn't suggest taking your children there - spa is meant for adults to relax in. I didn't see anyone bring their daughters when I was there.

It says on the website they provide you with a robe. If I am anplis sized woman will the robes for or should I bring my own? I'm a size 22?

I am a size 22 and the robe they gave me wa marked 5X. Plenty of room to wrap around. The bonnet was too small but they even have larger ones available.

Is this a clothing optional spa?

Yes. You are required to be completely naked in the pool areas. You can be wearing robes in the other areas (hot/cold/relaxation rooms)

    Is this facility transgender friendly?

No, and they are suing the Washington State Human Rights Commission who has issued them a notice that their policies are legally considered discrimination

Do you have to schedule to come in in advance or say I have a Tuesday open all of a sudden, can I walk in and be able to enjoy the spa?

Walk-ins are available just for the general day spa. If looking to book a service, you will have to do that 7 days in advance online. (Highly recommend)Calling in will get you booked quicker especially if you're looking into a Fri/Sat. Winter is…

Is the spa for women only? Are men allowed? can I bring my bf?

    No men.

My husband was in the steam room sitting with his eyes closed relaxing, and when he opened his eyes, the room was full of men masturbating and giving each other hand jobs. He left the steam room and didn't feel comfortable to return. He felt violated and disturbed by this behavior. We have been to multiple Korean spas all over the country, and have never experienced anything like this. It would be simple to stop this behavior, all they would have to do is have an employee whose job it is to make rounds and enforce the rules which are clearly posted - no sexual acts. Unfortunately there are hardly any employees around, and that is why these perverts can get away with these public sexual acts. Believe it or not, children are allowed at this spa. I am considering reporting this to the police for that reason. Now that I am here writing this review, I am seeing that there are multiple other reviews reporting the same thing. The fact that this continues to go on shows that management does not care. I will be posting this review anywhere that I can, and telling my friends and family to avoid this place.

Recently I booked a massage online which was accepted and confirmed virtually. The day before the treatment, I received a call from their receptionist informing me that the therapist preferred 90 minute slots and asked if I would be willing to update my massage from 60 to 90 minutes. Otherwise they would need to reschedule me for another slot. Their other time did not work for me. While the receptionist was very friendly and polite, the reasoning that the therapists didn't want to have empty portions in their schedules felt like a bait and switch. Essentially, asking me to spend more money with the therapist to make my visit worthwhile for them. This was frustrating especially because I had already booked a 60 minute massage with upgrades. Receptionist stated this is a known issue with their online scheduling platform, which seems idiotic issue that should be fixed for a large franchise since it significantly impacts the customer experience. This is the first time it has happened, so it's possible it is a therapist by therapists preference, but be alert that they may not be able to keep your appointment.

1 Star - Very uncomfortable tipping experience…read more I have been a regular customer at this massage place and usually visit about twice a month. As someone who also works in the service industry, I understand how important tips are and I always tip fairly depending on the quality of service. In the past I have tipped anywhere between $15-$25. However, my most recent visit was extremely uncomfortable and disappointing. I booked a 90-minute massage that cost $115 after tax. When it came time to pay, I intended to leave a $20 tip, which would bring my total to $135. The payment machine actually showed multiple tip options including $20. However, the staff refused to allow me to select the $20 option. They insisted that the tip must be 30% or more, and pointed to a small note on the table that said 30% gratuity is "appreciated." They then attempted to add $30 to my bill without my agreement. This is very concerning for several reasons: * The 30% tip was never disclosed before the service started * It was not listed on the official menu or pricing * The payment machine still shows optional tip amounts but customers are not allowed to choose them * Staff attempted to force a higher tip after the service was already completed A gratuity is supposed to be voluntary unless a business clearly lists a mandatory service charge before the service begins. Posting a small note on the table and then pressuring customers at the payment terminal is not transparent and creates a very uncomfortable situation. As a loyal customer who has supported this business many times, I felt extremely disappointed by how this was handled. If a business wants to require a 30% service charge, it should clearly state that on the menu and inform customers before the service -- not pressure them at the register after the service is finished. Customers should be aware of this policy before visiting.

The first appt. was cx with sufficient notice, allowing me to reschedule my service in a similar time frame. They said my artist was on medical leave. Ok, understandable. However, the most recent appt. was just cx, LESS than 24 in advance. Please note, THEY require 24 hours notice if WE cancel, or they charge your credit card on file. Last year or so, the salon cx my appt. as I was driving to it, so less than an hour in advance. As a client, with such short cancellation notice, this means I have to wait, at MINIMUM, 1-2 wks to reschedule as most artists are booked out that long. I don't know all the details about why my artist extended her leave, and I wish her the very best, but either she waited less than 24 hrs to notify the salon that she'd be extending her leave, or else the salon delayed in informing its clients. Of course, I understand that things happen with artists, but the grace should run both ways. If the salon has such a strict cancellation policy/fee, then they should abide by it as well. Perhaps they should credit us the cost of service that they cx?! Our time is just as valuable. Another example: Historically (going WAY back) rates would raise about once a year. In the last 5 or more years, I've noticed they raise rates several times a year, which seems excessive. Now, it's just plain egregious. The past 3 months alone, one of my colorist's rates have raised EVERY MONTH: $133 - may $136 - june $149 - July I love my colorist, and that she is getting paid well, however, these price hikes are egregious and *not* sustainable for the average person. For those that can afford this, you are lucky! So for those of you who feel like your artist's prices keep going up, up, up: start tracking this, b/c you are not imagining it. Anyway, I do love my various artists, but it's time to start looking at other salon options.
