I I do not believe there is anything near 3.5 oz of chicken per serving, and the breading is dry and totally tasteless. Compared to the spinach and artichoke breasts from ALDI, theirs were a "10" and Omaha Steak's version was a "1" I'm negotiating a refund. I had heard mixed reviews about Omaha Steaks. At the beginning of stay in place due to Covid-19, meat was especially difficult to find at the local markets. So, I decided to give OS a try. I order a mixed box with steak, chicken, and more. The short of it, the delivery took way longer than I was told and when it finally arrived the box was left outside of my courtyard in the Texas heat where I could not see it (carrier's fault, not OS). Sadly, when I opened the box the contents were thawed and barely chilled. I contacted OS customer service and they kindly and promptly provided a refund. As far as the quality of OS products I of course can not say (I REALLY hated tossing food ESPECIALLY during such a rough time for so many), albeit the "fillets" didn't resemble any I have ever seen before and the chicken "breasts" were the smallest, saddest little cutlets ever. Due to the pandemic, i decided that my family of 3 will just stay home and celebrate thanksgiving by ourselves and skip celebrating with my large Filipino family. With that being said, i am left to figure out out meals and i dont cook at all. So i searched for thanksgiving delivery meals, i was so close in choosing harry and david but i stumbled upon omaha steaks. I chose omaha steaks since they were much cheaper than harry and david. I didnt have much expectation, i just hoped that the ham would be tasty. Anyways, i received my meals on time and everything were boxed and packaged nicely. Each with different instructions:heating time and thawing instructuons. Moment of truth: it was the BEST Thanksgiving Meal i ever had. All the appetizers were delicious, the desserts were perfect and the ham was moist and tender. I highly recommend omaha steaks and i will irder again this coming Christmas. This is the corporate office location -- in Nebraska. We received a gift box for my husband's birthday yesterday. The gift package had 4 ten ounce "filet of prime rib" steaks and a cheesecake sampler. The box survived outside on our Florida doorstep in the pouring rain. Inside the wrapper was a styrofoam cooler. The meat (vacuum packed, two to a package) and the cheesecake (in a separate box) were on top of dry ice so everything was still frozen when we opened the package. The large cheesecake was made up of 4 different types : New York, pistachio, strawberry, and mascarpone. At first I thought it was 4 very large quarters of each. But each type is cut into 4 wedges. The individual wedges don't look like much, but the cake is very filling. We've put the steaks right into the freezer for later use. As each steak is quite large, we will probably wind up sharing each filet. So I can't speak to the quality of the meat nor the taste, as yet. I've never tried anything from this company at all. However, we couldn't resist trying a slice of the cheesecake. Surprisingly, it was still frozen pretty solid so we had to let a few of the slices thaw out. We tried the mascarpone one first -- very rich and creamy. And I had a slice of the pistachio one with breakfast (shhh! Don't tell). There were nuts here and there in a plain cheesecake base. I'm not a big cheesecake eater or liker. And it's not my usual choice for dessert. In fact, most of the ones I've tried in the past are dry or just okay. But these two varieties were pretty good. Bottom line, so far I'd rate the cheesecake well enough to send one as a gift to a friend or relative. I'll let you know later how the steak(s) turned out. read more

I got a variety pack that included bacon wrapped filet Mignon, pork chops, hot dogs, chicken, and hamburgers. The pork chops were dry and flavorless. The hot dogs just tasted like salty logs. The hamburgers had a very strange flavor to them, did NOT like. The chicken breasts were tiny and the filet, I don't even know where to begin. They were tiny, then wrapped with thick heavy amount of bacon to add weight. The steaks themselves were literally the size of maybe 3 nickels. The bacon also smelled really gross so I took it off before I cooked the staek and low and behold, the steaks actually started FALLING APART. It was actually chunks of leftover meat from having been chopped off something else, all being held together by the heavy bacon. It wasn't even a solid actual steak. They were also all different colors and I was actually a little worried they weren't even very fresh. We ate them anyway and the best part of the meal was the onion from the pan. I ordered 8 steaks and four burgers from online - as a bday gift for my son. First two steaks thawed and cooked - one was rancid and completely inedible. I called Omaha Steaks customer service and they offered me a $30 gift certificate on next order. I offered to ship remaining steaks back as who knows how many of remaining steaks could be rancid. I received an Omaha pkg as a gift for Christmas and was not impressed. As a result I would not consider sending Omaha Steaks to anyone. It contained mediocre bacon wrapped filet mignon and the smallest chicken breasts I've ever seen in my life. We go to a butcher for our meats so maybe we're spoiled. Bought the Prime Rib Meal Kit and 1) I laughed when I opened the box to see how small/skinny the piece of meat was and 2) it was the worst roast I've ever had. Zero marbling = Zero Taste & Zero Tenderness. The best thing in the kit was the Garlic Baguette which was out of this world. I have seen these commercials all my life. I thought, surely any place that goes to all the trouble to sell meats and deliver them in dry ice must be doing something right. So I broke down and ordered a package that contained 5oz Filet Mignon, some burgers, and some chicken fried steaks (CFS). First up is the good news. The fillets were pretty good. They are very tender and flavorful. The issue with these is that with tall the hype, I would have expected the steaks to be the best steaks I had ever had. While they were pretty good, they were tiny (Almost bite sized) and way over priced. So for the reasons of price and size, I have to give them a 3 on my 1-10 scale. Next up, I cooked up their burgers. They come frozen and look like large hokey pucks. But I put my 1st impressions aside and grilled them like I would any other burger. Because they come frozen, its hard to get them done without burning the outsides. The flavor was good, but like the steaks, not any better than any other burger I have had before. In fact, they are a bit worse. The texture was weir like they had been over worked when forming patties. The last in the line up was the CFS. I am from Texas. In Texas we are CFS connoisseurs. The meat is tender but its not real steak. it is some version of hamburger, probably mixed with fillers and other things. The taste was very salty and not pleasant at all. It was one of the worst CFS's I have ever had. On my scale of 1-10, I would give it a -4 on the Texas scale and a 1 on the northern version of a CFS. The positive side if this is that Omaha offers a 100% money back guarantee. I emailed their customer service and told them I was not satisfied with the quality of their meats. They promptly issued me a refund, so I have to give Omaha props for their excellent customer service and standing by their guarantee. Even with this though, I could only give them 1 star. I would not waste my money with anything from Omaha. Go to your local butcher, or Albertsons and save yourself a lot of money. read more

The products were very tasty, but last time, I noticed that the calorie and fat content from the sirloin burgers and grass-fed burgers was much higher on the boxes that were delivered than on the website!!! At Christmas time, Omaha Steaks (online) offered me a $30 reward for sending my brothers Christmas gift after Christmas. Nowhere at the time they wanted to entice me to send a late Christmas gift did it say you had to spend $159 min in order to redeem this "reward". In hindsight-should have elected to just have them ship so that the gift was on time. SO MISLEADING! Very disappointed! This is not a reward whatsoever! I was given as a gift a box of Omaha Steaks top sirloin steaks. They were dry and tough. I gave them back to the gifter, and she got a refund. They are selling non USDA quality-graded beef and you have no idea what it is. They sell USDA quality graded beef to their commercial customers, but not to their retail customers. And they sell different grades, as determined by them, of beef. Some are called "tirple trimmied", which is a meaningless buzz word. Back in 1990, Omaha Steaks sold genuinely prime meat. Now, their falling quality, decreasing quantities, and rising prices make them simply not worth the price. Their filet mignon are only choice and the worst trimmed filets we have ever seen. Their "scalloped potatoes" (really, they're potato croquettes) were really good just two years ago. This is my first year purchasing from Omaha steaks and it will definitely be my last!!! The pot roast I got was 90% FAT 10% mystery meat. Definitely NOT the 2 lbs as advertized!! The beef stroganoff meal was totally disgusting!! The meat had a weird flavor to it and it was super chewy, the noodles were weird, the sauce was very watery and it had an unrecognizable spicy taste/feel to it. The hamburgers are VERY greasy!! (See pic) my George Foreman grill couldn't even keep up with all the grease!! I cooked only TWO burgers!! Went through 1/2 a roll of paper towels trying to squeeze out the grease AFTER they were done cooking. SO NOT WORTH THE PRICE!! The flavor from both of the crock pot meals are definitely there. However, the meals are advertised to feed a family of four. This is quite the contrary. These crockpot meals will serve two (and that's almost a stretch). I paid $70.00 for these four meals. For the price point and amount of food yielded, this is not worth the money. You should not have fat and grit on a prime reserve filet mignon. When I reached out the customer service via their Facebook I was told meat is a natural product and it is out of their control. I recently placed a custom order for meats at Omaha. After I received the order I realized I had forgotten to order the Omaha Steak Seasoning. The web site will not accept any order below $49. I wanted to order 4 bottles of the seasoning at $5.49 each. I called their customer service and they said there was nothing they could do unless I placed another order for $49 or more. Refusing to sell their seasoning to customers who spend over $100 with them is terrible service. If they don't want to generally process small orders for their products that's fine but they should at least accommodate selling it to customers who have just placed large orders. read more
