We ordered small chicken breast which menu stated comes with 2 sides but menu was outdated and bartender stated its only a side salad but same price, it was tasty though small. The music was well balanced and kept the flow of the night. The dj was good, the bathrooms had no paper and the mens had a toilet but the door was removed. Most importantly it felt safe and the security was attentive and courteous. Well lit parking and police presence outside at 2am. Very first time I get a bad experience at a Latin dancing place. The have a $10 cover fee and you can not come with purse or bags at all. This was very unfortunate because we took uber to this location and it was not like we could keep the purse anywhere. We ordered rum and coke and they were tasting awfully, a lot of alcohol (yes, it was my Friday too to complaint about the amount of alcohol, you bet it was strong). How sad can it be that even as you're trying to interact with the owner of the place , he just calls you a "liar" after serving a malfunctioning hookah and charge you $ 20. If you have over 90% of your crowd standing and the other 10 dancing you are definitely doing something wrong. @DJATREVETE Playing merengue for over 2+ hours and gives shout outs every 30 seconds. The place is small but nice set up and decoration, dj was not that good but we went to 3 diferent latin clubs before getting to this one. It is the best between the regulars. Secure parking lot a little patio in case the bachata gets to be to much. Good looking bartenders girls, a lot of men by them self, good for a group of ladies looking for dance couples. read more

Honestly for a latin club/bar in Virginia Beach this deserves 5 stars. We went there last night and to my surprise it was actually really good. All of the clubs here are either super lame or packed with a bunch of young college kids. Omega however had a nice mix of ages and the atmosphere was great. We arrived around 11:30pm and there wasn't a line outside but it was pretty full inside, which I don't mind for a nightclub. There was a $10 cover charge for ladies and gents, not too bad. The drinks were typically priced for a club ($12 for most mix drinks). The DJ was great. I believe his name was DJ Atrevete and he played a good mix of latin music (Reggaeton, bachata, merengue, and a few hip hop songs). There were a lot of men there like some previous reviews state however it's a club...that's to be expected. I will be going back next time I'm in town. read more

Super disappointed of this place tonight. I came back to town and wanted to celebrate my birthday in a special place with Latin music. The place looks nice, the owner was really nice when we came in and the bartender too, but when you don't charge the right amount and then add a $15 gratuity without my knowledge that upsets me and then I tip you $12 on top... I'm not very happy right now. I guess when I travel I better check my receipt from top to bottom. Sorry, that I missed this, but I don't need to do this stuff back at home. Came here with my partner and I was definitely feeling the vibe! For some reason I didnt put two and two together when I walked in and felt the Latin flow even though I researched this bar on Yelp plenty of times. However I was not disappoint at all. I had a fun time, regardless of what music was being played it was always dance time. While the food did not taste bad, my fajitas were cold. The bathrooms were nasty. The service was slow. Not everyone at my table received their food timely and the ones who did, was just half cold and not all all at the same time. I asked for a manager and she said she will take care of it... what did she do? Charged me for a tip that was not deserved. Used to live in the Hampton roads area. Came back to visit and I remember Omega was the spot back in the day. Last night was such A disappointment. Horrible! Bartenders very rude. DJ garage. Don't get fooled by the pictures, the place is really small an the quality of sound is terrible. The speakers are so low quality that they resonate so much to the point of leaving you deaf. Whatever ... you get used to it, but then the DJ is trash. He doesn't mix the songs, he plays 1 genre every 15 min. I dance everything you play, but if you are not into one type of music gender, you may wait 15-20 min standing up.. because by the way, there is not sits unless you reserve a table. The DJ doesn't play the famous songs, he plays in between, and he doesn't know how to cut the song in a way that progresses to the next. Entrance is $10 per person, but if you are paying with card they charge you $11. I would say that although the flavor of the drinks are not good because they are not properly made, at least you get a lot of alcohol, so you don't have to buy a lot, but you will have to suck the flavor of straight alcohol. Anyway, I had fun because I always have fun with my husband, but unless I am extremely desperate to dance and I could find anything g better, I wouldn't come back to this place. read more

Worst club/lounge ever!!! Ok I understand it was Dominican Independence Day celebration, but come on you got to alternate your music. Not everyone is Dominican. My waitress was ok until I had to close out, she was busy dancing so I had to wait 15 minutes for her, really no one else can close me out. STUPID!!!!
