When it comes to service, I've always had good experiences at Bakery 1908 and I really like how they have a self-ordering kiosk for dishes and drinks if you'd rather skip ordering at the counter. I think the cakes are a little bit more expensive than the buns because of extra craftsmanship but it's completely worth it. For me, the biggest downside to Bakery 1908 is the location. Mills has always been a busy area and it can be hard to leave the parking lot. But otherwise it's completely worth the visit and a lot more accessible than other restaurants there. Overall, the food has a lot of potential, and the staff was fantastic, but the incorrect order, extra sauce charges, missing sauce, and tiny chip portion really took away from the experience. My advice: upgrade the chips so you actually get a side, double-check your order before you leave (even if there's no one else in there) , and be aware that the sauces cost extra.

My Go to here is the Tonkotsu Black Ramen, but I have had the others and never a bad experience. There is something really welcoming about Jinya. I suspect they treat there staff well and hire the right people. Everytime I am here I feel like they are over staffed, but there are plenty of tables inside and out in this intimate venue. My two favorite happy hour dishes are the Salmon Pke Tacos and the Crispy Chicken. I used to live on Lake Eola Park and I so miss coming here. Glad I stumbled in here today.
