I saw someone RAVE about this burrito on a local Facebook page. I love me some Mexican and definitely love a good wet burrito. Doesn't it look delicious!? Unfortunately, I didn't LOVE it. Since Habit stopped it's Impossible burger, we've been looking for a new spot. I think we found it. This place isn't fancy, but it's very friendly. When I asked about veggie burgers (they have a sign) the cook brought out two kinds of frozen patties: garden patties and Impossible patties. We ordered two Impossible burgers with fries and drinks. I ate here for the last time on Friday. It's sad, too, because I like the food and I love supporting a small business, but they have jacked up prices pretty consistently in recent years and they did me dirty on Friday. I have eaten here once every 2 weeks or so for the past couple of years. I've ordered all kinds of items and enjoyed all of them. The service is usually solid and the food is consistently good. On Friday I went to get myself a burger combo, which was $12 until earlier this year when it went up to $14 and some change. I also had my dogs with me so I asked about 4 pup patties. They asked what I wanted, I said just a burger patty, no salt. They said ok and to pull around to the window. I sat at the window for about 5 minutes and then a woman came to the window and said $32.02. I asked if she was sure that was my order. She said yes. I asked how much they were charging per pup patty. Her response, $3.75. Now, I know what an indulgence this is and how it sounds to complain about something like this, but there is a little bit of principal here. In-n-out charges 2.25 for a pup patty. Louis Burger in LB charges $2 plus tax, like 2.12, I think, for the same exact thing. If the business is happy to gouge customers, I am happy to go to Famous Burger a block away, Jim's Burger which is about 3 minutes away, or Louis Burger, which is less than 10 minutes away. All are just as good, if not better. So thank you, Omega Burger, for showing your true colors and driving a loyal, paying customer away. read more

This place brings back so many memories! I used to go to a different location as a child and I was feeling so nostalgic. I got a Jr. hamburger and a pastrami. Unfortunately the food wasn't a good value. The Jr. hamburger was really thin with a hard bun. The pastrami was good but there wasn't enough meat on there. The meat was really good and juicy and the bun was perfectly toasted. It's a shame they skimped on the meat. It's also a shame the burger patty was really thin. The customer service was awesome. The cashier was very friendly while taking my order and giving me the food. I felt my business was appreciated which was very refreshing. The chicken was dry and lacking flavor. I needed all the chili verde that was provided. The fries were skinny fries that were over fried and obviously had been sitting under a heat lamp for sometime. What to expect: Large portions of typical American diner food. I can in this morning to try their breakfast menu at the appropriate time(although they serve most of it during the evenings as well). I paid a little under $11 for a Denver Omlette, which comes with your choice of toast, cup of coffee, and HALF A PLATE of hash browns. Although I was quite excited when they brought out my food, the dish that customers raved about was a sad disappointment. They charged $2 to add a small portion of cheese on your omelette, and I do wish they coated the omlette more. The omlette was bland, lacked taste. I had liked the food ok, but something happened that made me reconsider this place for my patronage. I was there and I happened to see an African American woman place an order. The person working repeated the order to the kitchen but called the woman a horrible derogatory racial slur, mayate. I understood what she meant by that. It is a term similar to the N word in Spanish. I was disgusted and angered! I am a white passing hispanic, so I'm sure they didn't know that I understood them.
