The food was alright but I honestly could've made better food than that. I promise. I ordered pastrami chili cheese fries and a patty melt combo and paid about $30. Whatever. The one star is for the lady who took our order today. I was having such a good day and chose omegas before heading home, but the lady taking my order fuckin blew it. What a bitch. No eye contact, bad attitude, she rushed my order and I honestly believe it's because me and my partner don't speak Spanish. This location is convenient for me. The prices can be a bit high but the food is wonderful and the portions are very generous. The customer service does as expected and they treat me well. I order to-go and eat-in sometimes. When I do eat there, it is a nice, peaceful escape as I stuff my face with greasy food. Despite the vandalism in their seating, I have never been pestered by other customers or passerby here. It is often very hard for me to convince my friends to come here though. Their seating has a lot of carved vandalism and it often comes across unsafe to them. It would be nice if Omega took debit/credit payment but they at least have an ATM within to accomodate that need. read more

I live down the street from this burger spot and the food there is decent but definitely over price for small portions sizing. I recently ordered small chili cheese fries and a large drink for $9!!! That's ridiculous! Also the ladies there give terrible customer service over the phone. I called to place an order and I was put on hold for a minute then they hung up. So I ordered chili fries well done fries. So I roll up to the window about 5 6 minutes after I had ordered it and this chick is at the Fry area with her mask under her chin. And she didn't seem to have any problem fixing food like this. Funny you have to wear a mask everywhere but when it comes to food handlers it's an option needless to say within a few minutes of watching her work on the fries I decided that I wasn't going to be able to eat the food that she prepares. Omega will always have a place in my heart. It's a classic old-school burger joint that my family members have been regulars of for probably thirty years. As a kid, my heart was captured by the seasoning salt they throw on their fries. That still holds true to my most recent visit yesterday. We had a full car with three kids and needed somewhere cheap and quick to eat at, so Omega was our pick. The kiddos can never decide on one restaurant so it was nice to have a place where we could grab burgers but the less willing members of our party got to order burritos. Our ordering process was pretty long-winded and complicated, but the cashier was really patient and helpful which was great. She helped us sort everything out and we had our food quickly. I ordered a junior cheeseburger special, my usual, and it was solid as ever. The bun had a noticeable little bit of toast and the fries were crispy and well-seasoned. Everyone else was satisfied with their meal and it wasn't too expensive, so we were happy. It goes without saying that I'd come back. :) read more

An Okay Char. Some things are really good (Patty Melt, Chicken Tacos) Other items are just mediocre. I think it has a "big burger" special from $1.29 or something. It is in the really bad part of town so they will not let the customers use the bathroom. (Probably too many homeless junkies using it to get their fix.) Writing a long overdue review on this place. I grew up in the area... often come here to get the classic cheeseburger, with a side of fries and maybe an orange bang. I come here when I'm hungover and want some steak and eggs as well. it's surprisingly good here. Yes we all know it is not the best area, but this is mostly local spot and that's ok with everybody. I discovered this place with my good friend, and it's a great restaurant. They could be cleaner, neater, and have more emphasis on sanitation in the bathroom. The fries are GREAT because they season them with some seasoning salt mixture that tastes oh so good with 1000 island dressing. Main entrees are always well prepared, not always prepared to order, and never cold. Sadly this place isn't vegetarian friendly so I don't go there often. read more
