Solid place in Long Beach for a quick bite. They serve a variety of breakfast foods all day, and sandwiches and burgers. They serve generous portions as well for a really decent price. I got the Denver burrito and it was thicker than my arm and packed to the brim. The staff were kind and the food was prepared pretty fast. The inside is pretty small and gives a mix of modern and old diner vibes. Theres parking around the building as well as a drive thru!

I've been to many Tam's locations, but this one is by far my favorite! The staff is always so friendly and welcoming. I've pretty much tried everything on their menu, and it's all fantastic. My favorite is the breakfast burrito with chicken absolutely delicious. You can't go wrong with their double cheeseburger and chili cheese fries either. The ambience can get loud sometimes, but it's nothing too crazy. The pricing might be on the higher side, but it's well worth it for the great quality food. Highly recommend! Parking can get tight so have patients very small parking lot

I was craving for some pastrami, so upon reviewing some suggestions, I ended up here at Tam's Burgers. I ordered my pastrami with extra pickles and mustard. Once I was served, I was impressed by the quantity of meat they had put in my pastrami sandwich. It was amazingly a lot! The flavor was really good not salty whatsoever like other places I've been to. This sandwich was split into two portions, it was just too much food! The service was professional. Upon arrival I was greeted with professionalism and also when served my sandwich. No issues whatsoever! The ambience was pretty chill, for the most part. The dining area was pretty clean with the exception of a single napkin on the floor (haha). The price for this pastrami sandwich was a bit high ($15.99 + tax) but for what I got, it was worth it. Just the meat alone is worth that price these days! I would definitely come again, but this time with a partner te help me eat this sandwich!

I got a side of steak cooked medium/medium well... They cooked it exactly how I wanted. Nicely seasoned with salt, pepper, and grill. I also got the large veggie salad with cilantro and ranch dressings... THEIR SALADS HAVE BEEN FRESH EVERY SINGLE TIME FOR YEARS!

(Drive thru experience ). Customer service was great. I ordered the chicken sandwich.. which was cool 4/5 I accidentally got cheese so it threw me off. I'm happy they cut it in 1/2 it was too big to eat in one sitting... they came with at least a pound of fries lol. I got full off of those alone. I order a side of veggies.. I thought it was gonna be zucchini or something.. it was peas, green beans, corn and carrots so I didn't eat it unfortunately since it was a combo of my least favorite veggies. The drive thru was clean and free of homelessness.

We came all the way from Santa Clarita and we're not disappointed. Past all the namebrand places by the aquarium and came here and we're not disappointed. I had the work burger, which has fried portobello mushrooms. Others in our group had grilled cheese and poutine burger, and Italian burger and the hotdog and the breakfast burritos. No one was disappointed actually, we were surprisingly pleased with our selections. Sleeper items are the fried cheese curds by themselves. Make sure you get these. Also the onion rings are batter dipped. And beyond delicious! Only bummer is the drinks are cans, so if you need more than one drink, be prepared to pay for each can. The food was super delicious!!

I'm not sure if it's always that lively on Friday nights, but it was the weekend of Warped Tour, so there was a lot of music and energy. If you're looking for a quieter meal, this may not be the best night to visit. The food itself was good, but the wait was much longer than expected. We waited almost 40 minutes for our order. Unfortunately, my burger was also made incorrectly. I ordered the Bacon Bleu Burger but was served a different burger instead. Not quite sure what it was, but it had mushrooms and American cheese. Since we had already waited so long, I decided to just eat it rather than send it back. The burgers were flavorful, but they were smaller than I expected for the price, and they don't come with fries. To round out my meal, I ordered the poutine fries. They were decent. The fries were nice and crispy, which I appreciated. My husband ordered the Burger Don Chendo, and that ended up being the standout of the night. I usually don't like spicy food, but this burger had just the right amount of heat without being overwhelming. Overall, the food was enjoyable, but between the long wait, the incorrect order, and the portion size for the price, the experience was a bit hit-or-miss. I'd be willing to give them another try, especially for the Don Chendo burger, but I'm hoping for a smoother experience next time.

The core experience here is similar, but this location does a great job leaning into local Long Beach culture, something other reviewers said too. Cane's seems genuinely involved with local high schools, and the walls are lined with alumni photos and neighborhood history. Much appreciated. Service is fast, genuinely faster than In-N-Out, which is saying something for a California chain. The value is strong too, $10-15 usually gets you a solid amount of food. The standout is the Texas toast which is buttery, nicely crisped, and honestly kind of unique for a California fast food spot. The chicken itself is fine, nothing special, but it doesn't need to be great because the real star is the Cane's sauce. A smoky, tangy mayo-based dip that's genuinely distinctive. There's a reason you can find it bottled in grocery stores now. Fries are just okay, but again, everything's better with the sauce. A few downsides: the drive-through moves surprisingly slow for how popular it is (never seen it move fast, even on slow days). The interior can also feel overstimulating. The disco ball is charming but the lights are a bit much, and it gets loud. That's especially true late at night, since they're open until almost 4 AM and it draws a big crowd of post-club twenty-somethings and students from CSULB and Long Beach City College. If you can look past the slower drive-through and the sensory overload inside, it's a great spot for a late-night bite.

So when…read moremy mother-in-law clipped a really good coupon for a family meal for $17, we decided to dine-in for lunch. It ended up not being the smoothest experience, but the food was good for the price we paid. Jack still sends out glossy paper coupons in the weekly mail flyer. The one we used was for 2 Jr Chicken Sandwiches ($2.99 each), 2 2-Taco pack ($1.99 each), 2 Jumbo Jacks ($5.79 each), and 4 value fries ($1.69 each) , so ended up being a savings of $11.30. Also got a fountain drink for $2.99 (so self serve fountain at this location). There was confusion where the discount was applied correctly (I saw the total with my own eyes), but when I charged it to the credit card, it rang up as the non-discounted total. It definitely wasn't done intentionally (but would have gone unnoticed if I hadn't noticed), but it took a while for it to be rectified (the cashier just ended up refunding me the total of the original order and just re-entered the order again, with the discount sticking this time). The food came out a bit later, and definitely tasted better than it looked. I understand why folks who grew up with this food would be nostalgic. And the Jumbo Jack tastes the closest to my favorite fast food burger (BK's Whopper), except it's more consistently made, with the right amount of toppings. This one tasted good, and the fries were relatively fresh as well. So the food and value was great, but demerits for a POS system that allows a charge to be different than what rang up on the register.

Had a great experience at this Jack in the Box. Food was fresh, hot, and came out fast. The night…read moreshift team did an amazing job--super friendly and efficient. Definitely one of the better locations. I'd come back!
