Great place for pancakes! I've had the blueberry, which was delicious, but my absolute favorite was the pumpkin pancakes. Insanely good! Why oh why, don't they make these year round? Let me tell you guys something....my friends and I randomly chose this restaurant for breakfast and we were so glad we did! Gail is probably the best waitress I've ever encountered in my life. She was so sweet. So professional. So funny and took great care of us. She made such a good impression that we came back the next day. Our waitress was Donna, she was the sweetest women i have met. She made sure we had everything we needed. This place is amazing. The french toast was amazing. The service was phenomenal. We had breakfast here every morning of our 4 day stay at Myrtle Beach Resort in Surfside. The best thing by far on the menu is the pecan pancakes. Served with pecans mixed in and topping the pancakes and their delicious cinnamon butter, these were the highlight of my morning. The staff is very friendly and accommodating even when the restaurant gets busy (usually after 9am). Only downside was that my girlfriend's order was messed up one day (but it was fixed very quickly) and that the kitchen gets easily backed up when they are busy. read more

We brought our softball team here after a game. They were able to seat 25 people pretty quickly despite the restaurant being decently busy. Overall the place is cute and the staff is nice. Or did came or fairly quickly (especially for the size of our group). Don't get the Eggs Benedict. The Hollandaise sauce is terrible. Breakfast burrito was just okay. Those that got pancakes were pleased (and of course commented "who comes to a pancake place and orders anything other than pancakes?"). Overall 3 stars. read more

Awesome breakfast here on our drive from Myrtle Beach down to Huntington Beach State Park. Our waitress was so nice! Food was great and portions large and not very expensive. It was open on Thanksgiving so that's something. The service was great but the omelets were small, the hashbrowns were very plain, the pancake had the slight crunch of uncooked sugar grains. Great food and great service! We ate here twice during our vacation. Both times were amazing. They have some of the best French toast dishes I've ever had. Horrible, horrible, horrible!!!!! I don't know what was worse, the horrible service or the raw chicken that was suppose to be their signature Greek menu item. This used to be our favorite breakfast restaurant which is saying allot because we live here. We had tried many different restaurant before deciding this one was our favorite. We gave Omega a try this am, and we were very pleased with the meal! Although they were busy, we were seated quickly and service was good. They even serve lunch items in the am...so I had the burger. Party of 6, we were greeted by our server by saying "well since I'm here you might as well order now too" gave our order. Entire tables food came out except one person's, which was the same exact breakfast as another in our party. Waitress kept saying it would be right out then after the second time asked what they ordered.. came back with the wrong meal and stated "no offense to you" never took any responsibility herself or apologized. We left without the meal ever being made right. I understand a busy resort town restaurant but no excuse for absolutely horrible service. read more

I was honestly disappointed when I came here. Prior to my arrival in Surfside, I've been searching for the best pancake house in the area. I wanted to experience a morning breakfast with that southern hospitality. I did experience that, but it wasn't as good as I had hoped. The food is average breakfast food. In my opinion, IHOP is much better. The portion sizes are average, and the quality isn't that great. When doing my searches, many forums and comments around the internet directed my here, but I don't see why. The wait time was also incredibly long for a pancake house in the area, because there are MANY in Surfside Beach and Myrtle Beach. We waited about 20-30 minutes for our table and the wait for the food was even longer. With that said, our waitress, an older woman, was very nice to us. She gave us that southern hospitality that we were looking for. Her tip reflected her service to us. We just hoped that our food was on par with the quality of our server. read more
