Decent breakfast. Nothing fancy or impressive here but you will leave full and satisfied! My husband and I came in on a Saturday morning and sat at the bar. I had to get an omelet since it's in the name of the place! I ordered one with tomatoes, onions, ham, American & cheddar cheese. The omelet was huge but I felt like it was lacking cheese. But I'm glad the home fries were real potatoes and not those frozen orange cubes! Our waitress Kayla was so amazing, attentive just enough to make sure we had everything we needed and food was delicious. The place was so busy and we got our food without a long wait. It's a family run restaurant and everyone is super friendly and so nice! This is my 3rd time and I'll be back. They give so much food that I can't eat it all. This is my favorite breakfast place. I always get the same thing, Western Omelet and my husband always gets Eggs Benedict. These are favorites for us, so good. I love the way they make their omelets. The service is great very friendly. I only wish they had delivery, I'd be ordering breakfast all the time since I'm not able to get out every day. I must have driven by the Omelette Factory 100 times before we FINALLY ad Brunch there. I have to say it must be THE BEST on the South Shore. They have anything and everything that you can think of for Breakfast. PLUS they have a Chalkboard FULL OF SPECIALS too. I always check out the specials first as they are usually VERY UNUSUAL but in a good way. Once it was Caramel Apple Waffles that I missed because I didn't check the board out first. It is pretty busy there on weekends but we have never waited more than 20 minutes or so. You put your name on the list out in the Hallway if there are no Tables available. We've been going to the Omelette Factory for several years now and usually have very good service and the food is pretty good too. Only bad thing I can say is that once I ordered and orange juice and when the server put it down in front of me, I picked it up to drink it and noticed that the glass was quite hot as it had just obviously come out of the dishwasher. As I picked up the glass, it exploded in my hand, juice flying out all over my plate and the table..... obviously this was quite a shock! Great local place. Super busy, so definitely get there like 20 minutes before you want to eat. You have to put your name on a list and when a table opens up, a waiter comes out and calls who's next on the list. There's no host/hostess. The food was excellent. Everything was really fresh and tasted great. The menu was surprisingly large, which is something I enjoy. Everything was average priced imo. Only thing I'd change is their queue system. Maybe switch to a physical buzzer to give people? Or a system where the input their phone number and they get texted when they're next. That way people can go wait in their cars instead of crowding in that smalm waiting area. read more

My parents used to take us here back in the 80s. We haven't been back in ages. The omelettes are huge. They claim they're made with 3 eggs and they're also stuffed with an array of fillings, but I still felt like it was even more than 3 eggs worth. They're a great value, as these guys are very competitively priced. As demonstrated by the photo, they have a children's menu that includes a few breakfast items--including a Mickey-style pancake that our favorite five-year-old devoured. They're also generous with the toast and accommodating on substitutions. I would note that I was underwhelmed by our shared side of corned beef hash, but I'd also say that we were so focused on our entrees that we really didn't need a side to begin with. read more

We went there today for the first time today. We arrived at like 9am on a Sunday, and we waited for like 20-25 minutes, which kinda sucked but whatever. The food was amazingggg. I got the eggs Benedict(pictured), two people got biscuits and gravy and another got a waffle and we also got pumpkin pancakes. My eggs Benedict were great! Potatoes were super good as well. We all shared the pumpkin pancakes and omg. Soooo good! Everyone thought their food was good, I definitely think it was worth the wait. The food was fine. There was nothing wrong with it. Drink refills were slow. The bill was provided to us without asking if we were all set or wanted to order, which means they are trying to turn the tables, and it was very obvious and off putting. (There's a way to do this and a way NOT to do this!) What irked me was the hand written receipt that provided a total, but not an itemized list of what we ordered. Just a total at the bottom. By reading reviews after we ate here, I learned from other reviewers that they charge more for using a credit card, which would make sense as to why there was just a total number and not an itemized receipt. I went here on a Sunday during brunch. Very busy! Thankfully we were only 2 and the people before us did not want to sit at the bar so we scooped it up instead of waiting a half hour. As i was deciding what to get i watched a person near by get their meal and it was a GIANT omelette! I thought maybe they just got a lot in it but then another one came by and was also the same size. If you want your moneys worth i would recommend the omelettes! I had chosen the breakfast burrito. The salsa i thought was going to be on the side which was my mistake for assuming. Instead of cooking it with the eggs in it though the salsa was cold so it was an odd taste mixed with the eggs. I didn't really enjoy it because it was super watery and made the wrap soggy. They definitely load it up with onions and peppers but i wish it was executed a bit better. What i can say about this restaurant is they have the most DELICIOUS hot chocolate. read more

I ordered a benedict and got deathly ill because I am allergic to lactose in milk products. The menu advertises real homemade Hollandaise sauce, I also asked the waitress if it was in fact a real Hollandaise and she assured me that it was. After eating a few bites i started to feel ill and had to leave, upon arriving home I vomited. The menu falsly advertised and the waitress apparently didn't know what she was talking about. FYI a real Hollandaise is made with egg yolks and butter. They used a Hollandaise sauce mix that is essentially a lemon flavored cream sauce, definately not a real Hollandaise sauce. They should correct the menu so others don't get sick as I did. read more

Came here with my family around memorial weekend. This place has huge portions for their food for the price. I ordered a spinach florentine omelet which came with home fries and two slices of toast.
