Supposed to be sausage gravy with biscuits
    Catherine S.

Wanna start out was saying that the waitress service was excellent. The girls were very attentive paint the table often and checked out how we liked our food OK. We were a little bothered by couple of things one I ordered a sausage gravy with biscuits and it came up with the gravy on it on top of biscuit, but the sausage was like sliced sausage on like the side and whole fries and unfortunately, even though I asked the girl who was Italian sausage I believe the sausage was chicken because it was very light in color it had no texture to it and I didn't want anything that wasn't mixed in with the gravy already and it was not. My husband had the homemade corn beef hash that was very good and that worked out well however, towards the end of the meal, I has asked to server to bring out the manager like to speak with her. The man came out and took her to one side. I ended up showing her that Walking across my table I had killed a bug she her response as well I think it might have come from the ceiling. I'm sorry she didn't offer us a free coffee or beverage or anything to do with getting a discount meal OK however she's like I said I just want you to know why I took you to one side, I said, but I didn't expect it be dropping on my table cause it was kind of gross. Between the fact that the food was not cooked enough OK and they did not offer to take it back to Air Cook. It was the fact that there was a bug on my table. I'm pretty sure breakfast was not worth $32 plus a tip. I had no problem paying the six dollar tip. The girls are working there. I did, however have a problem paying the full bill when you should be there I'm off of some sort of discount or something to take off like that something take my homemade muffins or something not expected it, but it was pretty disgusting once that happened. We probably won't be back againthere. I went there cause I hadn't gone there in like 30 years and I wanted to try it out and have breakfast with my honey before we went to the mall in Kingston, however but I wish I had gone someplace else for sure.

    Breakfast

Excellent breakfast and the service by the staff was outstanding! Highly recommend this location to anyone looking to have a delicious and satisfying meal!

One of the best breakfasts I've had out in many months! Loved the old school fixed stools at the u shaped counter, freshly squeezed OJ (SO hard to find these days! ‍), great service, delicious homemade hash (just the meat!) and expertly poached eggs. Side of pancakes with REAL maple syrup! Good coffee, relaxed vibe, and the chef clearly has a thing for Anthony Bourdain (RIP) - definitely a go again and again kinda place! "Enjoy the ride" indeed!

This place is super cute inside. There's plenty of bar seating, as well as tables to sit as well. I walked in, was greeted right away, and shown to a table. The server came over with menus, and asked if I wanted coffee, which he promptly brought over. He also pointed out the specials board (photo attached), all of which looked delicious. As an added bonus, on the tv, they were playing Christmas vacation. On to the food. For this Benedict lover, I was pretty excited to see 6 distinctly different Benedicts, and an extra on the specials board. Our server, Austin, was outstanding, and helped me decide on the green eggs and ham (love the Suess reference). It was lights out good - from the prosciutto to the pesto, arugula and basil pesto, perfectly cooked eggs, and basil hollandaise, the ciabatta it was on was also really good. Breakfast potatoes were also seasoned well and delicious. The pricing here is also really good - we were so pleasantly surprised by this place, and can't wait to come back and try more of the menu!

    Steel wool in hash Benedict

Went for the first time and really wanted to like it. The picture of the dishes on their website are not served how they are presented. I got the hash Benedict only because the pickled red onions and sweety peppers looked delish on the website picture. No pickled onions on it or sweety, but ok no big deal. They also advertised drinks on their website such as mimosas and bloody Mary's. So my husband and I were looking forward to that, we get there they say they don't serve alcoholic beverages??? Ok again, no big deal. But you need to update your website accordingly. Right now I am eating my leftover breakfast, and I just pulled a PIECE OF STEEL WOOL out of the Benedict, mind you I'm sharing pieces with my 8 month old. Thank god she didn't get this bite because I pulled it out of my mouth.

A good start! When's the last time a little breakfast place brought you a stirring spoon for your coffee or tea?

The Early Bird was acquired by local impresario Stephen Coe last fall. He's added new touches to the Early Bird's classic menu and put his signature stamp on this Kingston landmark. On our visit today our server, Seattle grunge aficionado Austin, provided us great recommendations as we sat at the bar. My youthful companion ordered French toast and insisted on a side of their home make corned beef hash, while I decided to double down on our hash investment and ordered the hash benedict. Both were excellent--so good, in fact, that we got two more side orders of hash to-go and brought them home for the rest of the family to enjoy!

The entrance is a little confusing on your first time trying to figure out what door to use. It was seat yourself so we picked a booth in the other little room by the bathroom. The waitress was super nice and very accommodating to the other table behind us which had about 500 questions for the poor girl. She handled it well and was efficient in her job. We ordered the basic eggs and bacon and a omelette. The food was absolutely delicious and I loved every bite of both meals. The decor is all over the place which made me giggle. They had country to game controllers to vintage. So odd but a good talking point with friends. The bar is super cute and seemed to have a lot of regulars. The bathroom was a bit dirty tho and felt like maybe it needed some TLC.

What a great breakfast spot! The food was delicious, everyone loved their meal. I got the Green Eggs and Ham and it was delicious and such an elevated dish! Chef Stephen Coe was the reason we stopped in and he has done a phenomenal job with this charming spot! The staff was so friendly and attentive. I would recommend this place to anyone! 10/10!

I don't know if I was starving, unhappy or what but this place and meal hit the spot and hit it hard. I thought I deserved a drink so I got a Guinness, which was thankfully on tap so yah! I got the bourbon steak tips with steak fries and opted for a garden salad instead of the green beans - yes, yes, and yes! Steak tips were perfectly flavorful and cooked just right for my taste. I really wanted fries and (unlike some of my family/friends) I actually like steak fries and they were cooked up just the way I like'em (crisp outside, not too mushy on the inside). The salad though, yah it was basic and yet not - all kinds of different colored tomatoes which actually had great flavor to them, and it was not just a couple but quite a few and they were "fresh". That is basically what I loved about the salad - not your typical anemic looking/tasting salad but with mixed greens (not just lame looking iceberg) and full of other veggies. The server also could not have been nicer (like I said I went through a lot that day so seeing a friendly face was nice) and always checking on us. I think we made a great choice in stopping here - it was a 4:30 on a Tuesday and it was busy. Good sign!

Bottom line... it doesn't get much better than Dillon's Local…read more My only gripe is that it's a little small, so if your timing isn't right, you might be waiting for a table -- but honestly, that's part of the charm. It has that cozy hometown pub feel: sports on, music playing, and a great local vibe. The staff treats you like you've been coming in for years, making you feel like a regular right away -- and that's definitely a good thing. Homemade comfort food that hits on every level, a delicious menu from top to bottom, and a drink menu that complements it perfectly. And by the way... the Guinness pours well!

We started with the seafood trio appetizer -- stuffed mushrooms, scallops, and a crab cake -- all delicious. We also ordered the wedge salad, which was crisp, generously dressed, and one of the standout starters of the night. For entrées, the pork chop was extremely flavorful, the baked scrod was a hit, and the jambalaya was excellent and plated creatively in a ring around the rice rather than the usual stew-style presentation. Service was outstanding; our waitress was friendly, attentive, and on top of everything. We finished with the chocolate Kahlua bread pudding, which was absolutely mouthwatering. The only downside is the noise level -- the restaurant is shockingly loud throughout, to the point where you have to raise your voice to hear each other.
