His work was accurate, clean and honest. EEJ Appliance Repair is above and beyond. #1. The cost was good as well. The freezer side (left needed a new part) had ice building up and the fridge (right side) was not cold. Our fridge is well kept for its age over 15 yrs. MICKEY mentioned the heater part had to be replaced. He said that part usually only lasts about 10yrs. So, we were very lucky nothing happened or needed repaired till now. That info was good to know. MICKEY EXPLAINED WHAT HE HAD TO DO AND SHOWED ME REPLACEMENT PART. I like learning and definitely am thankful. My husband passed away last summer 2023, and was an electrical, mechanical engineer. He could fix 99% of appliances, electrical as autos at our home. He is dearly missed but probably made sure I got the best guy to help us. There are definitely angels above. MICKEY is such a blessing to our family fixing what our family needed. I did ask him about the kitchen garbage disposal as well. We never use it, but to pour clean water down ever so often. Technician schedule @1-5 PM 08/25/23 Settings at the time upper setting thirty-seven actual forty-seven, lower 03 actual nineteen reading. 8/25/23 GE/Service Unit not working. Cleaned out coil and said that should fix it. 8/26/23 Unit stopped working Second time. After the repair. Was operating for 35 hours. Called Tru Blue Warranty called the second time. Tru Blue ordered a new compressor with other parts. Arrived at my hours over 5 days and three different boxes, with no invoice to let me know all the parts were here. 8/27/23 GE/Same guy came out to change all the parts that were here, and it was running for about 30 hours and stopped. GE Claim# 070054629 9/15/23 12:30 PM Called Tru Blue Warranty Unit not working and is tripping off the GFI. Reset GFI and hour later ripped the GFI a second time. 9/18/23 talked to Fergusion and advised them of the performance of their warranty company, they were going to investigate it. So far, no response. 9/19/23 The technician, not from GE, but was scheduled by Tru Blue, showed up at 11:30 AM, worked for an hour and said he had checked everything and left at 12:30PM. 2:00 PM unit set of GFI again. 9/19/23 Called Tru Blue Warranty (Josh) On Hold 45 minutes. They are sending out another technician from GE this time on 9/25/23. Asked to talk to a supervisor and ended call. The supervisor has not returned my call. 9/25/23 10:30 AM GE, new guy came out. And called GE and unit is non repairable. I should get a call withing 24 to 48 hours. 9/27/23 8:00 AM Called True blue again and their computer system was down, and they are checking on it. And then received an email stating it would take 5 days to review. I still don't have a working refrigerator.

Both times the repairman thoroughly checked out the appliance, not just where the problem area was. The first time my washing machine wouldn't stop beeping. Frankie told me it was a control panel (there are more than one!), which is what the web also told me. What the web didn't know was that if you do a reset, the beep often goes away. And it did! Sure, the control panel may eventually go out, but I'm not going to be out that expense until it does. Frankie could have just said I needed a new control panel and charged me much more to order and install it. That day's charge was just the normal service fee. The next time my dishwasher stopped working, the lights would not come on. This time it was Jerry who took the bottom panel off, found a loose wire and reconnected it, all in about 10 minutes. I asked him to leave the panel off while I vacuumed under the dishwasher and Jerry proceeded to vacuum it himself, using his screwdriver to access places I would not have been able to reach. Best part? I was charged a minimal discounted service fee. Fast service, expert repairmen, fair pricing - what more could you ask for?
