Just finished up my visit from Tim and have to say what a pleasure it is to work with him and Roni. They're just the nicest people and really try to provide the best service possible. He's helped me with my appliances at my house and my mom's over the past few years, and we've been very happy with his service. They try really hard to be accommodating, and I've appreciated that. Usually when an appliance goes out, there's a slight panic, because food is going bad, you can't cook, etc. I've attached a picture of my latest oven igniter that he replaced. Yay! We have called numerous times to get a repaid on our dryer and we wanted to support local business. They would never return calls and we tried setting up times with them on multiple occasions with little to no help. Eventually they came out to "try" and fix the problem with no luck and said they would order a new part and contact us when it would come in. We never heard back and called again. Needless to say this was extremely horrible customer service and they don't seem to care to solve their customer problems whatsoever or even follow up with anything. Tim is Awesome! I had another company out to repair a problem with my fridge twice and they not only charged me a ridiculous amount but caused further damage to my fridge! Then the third time they sent a tech out to repair the previous damage - he claimed it would cost $250 to $600 to repair - so I opted "NO" and I did some research and then called T&P Appliance. Being a DIY'er - Tim walked me through checking a few things and determined two parts needed to be replaced. I met up with Tim and bought the hardware, came back home and installed the parts and that had my fridge back up and running for under $50.00! My 8 year old (but new to me as my mom gave it to me after selling her lakehouse) washing machine decided to get stuck on the rinse cycle about two weeks after having it in my house. I called T&P based off their great Yelp reviews and the fact they are close to me since I am in S. Austin. Roni answered the phone quickly, took my info and listened as I explained the issue, and quickly set me up with an appointment. They also went ahead and ordered a timer for my washer so they would have one on hand if that ended up being the issue. Roni called me the day of the appointment to let me know what time to expect Tim and he arrived during the time frame she told me. Tim worked his magic on my washer and was able to diagnose and fix the issue quickly. Luckily it was not something that required any parts to be replaced and was an issue with one of the hoses being in the wrong position. They charged me the basic service call fee which was totally reasonable and then Tim was on his way. I just washed a load of laundry with no issues! I will totally use this company again. I had a Thermador freezer that was not freezing. I am pretty handy and usually fix our appliances, but hadn't dealt with a freezer before. I called T&P and told the gentleman all that I had done and that I usually fix my own stuff. Rather than just putting me on the schedule to make a quick buck, he helped me work through the problem on the phone. I ended up ordering the part and fixing it myself, which was my original goal. I had a bad experience after another contractor came out and disconnected my dishwasher doing some troubleshooting, and never came back for the follow up repair. Tim and his wife went out of their way to help me with same day service, even thought he already had a full slate. After filling him in on what had already been done, he quickly resolved the problem and got my kitchen back in working order. These folks are from the old school and take care of people. I have a Dacor gas cooktop under a factory extended service contract. I developed a problem and T & P was the company that they contracted to repair my unit. My first contact was from "Ronnie" or Veronica, who indicated to me she knew the problem and would order the parts for a following Friday repair. The supply house didn't send both parts so she called and apologized and asked if it could be put out to the following friday. The problem didn't prevent the cooktop from working so the repair was not critical and she wanted to make sure of that first. I agreed and we rescheduled. Later the following week she called and told me that her husband (Tim Grajczyk) who actually makes the repairs had suggested we replace all the LED's in the controls, not just the bad ones so she wanted to let me know she had ordered all of them. Tim showed up at my home in Bastrop on time and swiftly did the repair. He was very conscientious about my stuff around the cooktop and carefully removed everything before starting. He was friendly and very knowledgeable with this high end brand. In fact he specializes in the more expensive brands of appliances. I highly recommend them, you get a real and friendly person on the phone who really cares about your situation and a tech who really knows his business. This my first negative Yelp feedback, sorry folks! Also, I'm not a whiney person, I'm a boomer and I respect and value hard working and reliable people. My experience: I waited for hours for them to return my original call on Wednesday 8:30am (Samsung dishwasher) then it was mid afternoon before they called to schedule a service call after checking on parts. After waiting for two days... They were late arriving on the Friday (they gave me a 2:00 - 5:00 pm arrival time) at 5:15 they told me they did not have the part that we were waiting on but, were still coming $90.00 service call, at 5:20 I called back and cancelled the service call! A wasted afternoon and 3 days invested I am starting over. I'm not sure what the sky high reviews are about. We recently moved and had a five year old stainless refrigerator that was too big for our old house but fit nicely into our new one. We called T&P to get our icemaker and water dispenser back into working order and Tim did a great job diagnosing and fixing our refrigerator. Tim and Ronnie are fantastic! They are honest, knowledgeable, responsive and fair in price. I can't stand these repair stores that charge you just to come out and see the appliance. T&P had a flat fair. The first time Tim came to fix our ice maker, it ended up still not working. But Tim was nice enough to talk to me over the phone to try to trouble shoot and when it still wasn't working, he came over again and found the problem. My ice maker was fixed and Tim didn't charge me again for making the 2nd trip. I like that Tim made sure my problem was fixed. I would highly recommend T&P. read more

Highly recommend this business! I went to change out the filter in my refrigerator, and it was stuck. Tim came out and looked at it the same day I called (Ronnie is super nice and professional on the phone). Well, it turns out I had the vent blocked, so the filter was frozen. Doh! Woke up this morning to find out that my refrig. is not cooling and the nightmare continues, by being advised by Lowes, that my Frigidaire warranty ran out a few weeks ago. Well, my experience was not anything like the other reviews , so perhaps it was an anomaly , however , it was a very bad experience , so I feel obliged to post. First , my repair was a factory recall on a faulty part -- the power cord on my dishwasher. It took a long time for them to follow up after I called , but with effort I did get the work scheduled. They are a small shop , husband and wife team and I was in no huge hurry but it did take a few calls to get a date nailed down. The problem came with the reinstallation of my dishwasher. It was not reinstalled properly, a nearly 2 inch difference between how far the bottom of the door sticks out vs the top--- it's totally crooked. I spoke with the wife multiple times to schedule her husband to come back out to fix the install and never got a commitment , it was always "I'll call you back to schedule " and that call never came. On the 3rd or 4th try she said "well perhaps next Monday ", "I'll get back to you." She never got back to me , calls Monday to say he'll be there in 30 minutes , I told her she never called me back , won't work -- she committed to a reschedule , never called back. So bottom line , poor install , worse coordination and customer service -- I'll just pay to have someone else fix their mistake, it's no longer worth the fruitless effort on my part -- be careful if you use them , but hope it works out if you do. They charged me a lot of money and I was without a cool refrigerator for 2 weeks. In the end they told me it would be too expensive to fix and I would need to buy a new fridge. I agree. Tim used to be the warranty repair person for Fisher and Paykel. I called him when my EcoSmart washer needed repair. He somehow managed to get F&P to send the required part free of charge even though he was no longer the official warranty repair person. (The part would have been very expensive otherwise.) He repaired the machine, and it's worked fine ever since. When my Kenmore dryer wasn't working, I called Tim again. He showed me how to vacuum the built-up lint out of it and made sure everything was in good working order before he left. Tim is always polite and thorough, a real delight to work with. If you need your appliances repaired, call Tim; you won't be disappointed! (Actually, when you call, you'll speak to Ronnie, who is also delightful to work with and very knowledgeable.) read more

I called this morning about my washer making a high pitched whine. T&P had a repair person out to my house within the hour. Tim listened to my description of the problem, ran a rinse/spin load and then pulled $1.89 in change, an earring, a keychain, a pencil and a handful of pebbles out of the drain clean out. Seems my type of washer likes to "eat" coins and they get between the parts and cause noises. Best of all, Tim showed me how to empty the clean out myself next time I need quarters! The price was right, too... a lower "service charge" than the other guys who still haven't called me back. I'll call on T&P next time any of my appliances need work. read more

Ronnie is the BEST! My Bosch front loading washing machine was sending an error signal and not draining. Ronnie talked me through a fix over the phone and it's working beautifully and didn't require a service call or cost me a dime. When a bigger issue arises I won't even consider calling anyone else. Once he was here, he also looked at our refrigerator and added freon and fixed that problem. He also stated that if it was still working with no issues when the part comes in, he will just send the part back and bill us for minimal service. How great is that!
