Let's just start off with the fact that these are excellent donuts, given to you by an excellent human being, and it's in a place that screams classic old school donut shop. Now, bear with me if I get a little Meta on it... to me this donut shop is an embodiment of all the best things about waking up every day in this country. This donut shop... It's been lived in. Time has been put in here. Memories made. I have no idea how long this family or these people have worked here but I'm gonna assume it's been a pretty long time. I bet you this dude wakes up every day that this donut shop is open post office style. Rain snow sleet whatever nothing's gonna stop this dude from waking up and making donuts for you to come down to make your day or your kids day or anybody else's day. It's like a perfect look into what it's like to wake up every day to work hard, kick some butts and make some smiles. I genuinely uncontrollably smile after I leave the shop not only because I got donuts and I'm gonna gain a couple of lbs but also because of the way that these guys made me smile. Solid spot. Sometimes it's good to remember that we're on a rock hurtling through space spinning around a huge fireball and that we're all just gonna share the same space for a minute or two and that's tubular to the extent of tubularity. For some reason this spot just kind of has that vibe. Nestled somewhere between the capriciousness of youth and the clarity of old age. So maybe just get down here, eat some tasty donuts and remember we're all down here doing it together.

Believe the hype- these donuts are fantastic. I don't get donuts often but when we walked into the shop yesterday, I was brought back to the sense of my childhood just that sweet sugary donut smell. I had a doughnut twist and it was so good like light and fluffy and amazing , my son had a chocolate sprinkle doughnut and we brought my husband a red velvet doughnut. I do not like red velvet however I had a taste of my husband and it was really good. I'll definitely be back.

Little "hole" in the wall place. Friendly service, tasty donuts. Had a longjohn and they shot it full of custard (options were custard, lemon, strawberry and vanilla) on the spot at my request-pretty cool. Blueberry cake donut fresh and moist. Apple fritter good, but a little light on the apple. Overall thumbs up and recommend.

Skip the overpriced fancy donut places and come here to get really high quality donuts at a great price. OMG Donuts has cereal covered donuts, Oreo covered donuts, strawberry cream puffs, cinnamon rolls, fritters known as "pine cones" and so much more! They also offer letter donuts for pre-order which can be customized to say "Happy Birthday", "Congratulations", or even "Will You Marry Me?" The combinations are endless! I came to get two mixed dozen donuts and the owners threw in a few surprise donut holes. The donuts were light and airy and not overly sweet. You can tell that they were made fresh and tasted delicious! I'll be back soon!

SO good. My sister went in to grab these for a Saturday morning treat. She said the decor was cute even though the building was a little outdated. Incredible donuts, lots of drinks to choose from, fun and classic donut varieties, super nice gentleman working the front register, and it's so close to me! Donuts were light and airy, all toppings and fillings were delicious for the specialty ones. Even better the 2nd day. They seemed to be out of a few varieties at 8am which speaks to the popularity! The donuts here were delicious! It is more of a classic, glazed variety then say a Voodoo but we loved it! The dough for each kind of donut had a unique, delicious flavor. My favorite was the old fashioned glazed. I also really enjoyed the blueberry. They also fill donuts as you buy them with 4 different selections of fillings. When I arrived at the shop there only appeared to be one worker who was working on a large order for the lady in front of me. He was kind and helpful and although I wouldn't describe the service as super fast it was not painstakingly slow either. The shop itself is right out of a movie. Decor that yelled 90s to me with bright yellows and pinks. One man working with a heavy Asian accent. Shelves of delicious looking donuts.

A delightful donut experience. This donut shop will allow you to support local while eating the highest quality of donut. OMG Donuts includes a large selection and speedy service. I went in to select my donuts and only waited 5 minutes for 2 dozen and there was a line! A wonderful selection, I sampled the following: croissant donuts (cronut), bear claws, bacon donuts, classic glazed, donut holes, glazed sprinkles, maple donuts with bacon, apple fitter, and a "pinecone." Everyone who enjoyed these donuts commented on how fresh and fluffy they were. Some donuts have a greased feel - BUT not OMG donuts! Highly recommend - will revisit!

Tiny hole in the wall donut shop - my favorite kind. They had something called a pine cone, basically tiny rolls of dough shaped together like a pinecone. But my favorite was the croughnut. It's what all other croughnuts wish they were. More croissant taste heavy. Delicious.

OMG...I love this place! The Bavarian Cream filled donuts are so frikin amazing! He fills them right there for you on the spot and if Bavarian Cream isn't your thing, he has other flavors for you, including peanut butter. The glazed donuts are better than Krispy Kreme any day of the week. OMG Donuts are so light and not heavy at all. Try them and you know why they're called OMG Donuts! Better get there early though, or you'll miss out on the best ones. read more

Good donuts and great customer service! I recommend the donut holes... my kids are always asking for them :) The place could use a face lift but I don't care about that as much as I do cleanliness and quality of the donuts. I've never seen the doors open or any bugs (one reviewer said they had?) My experiences here have always been positive. read more

Good donuts, I love that they fill them on the spot for you with your choice of filling. They didn't have a huge selection, but I did go in at 2 in the afternoon. I would go back (earlier in the day) and try them again. Even late in the day the donuts were fresh and soft! read more

First of all, let me just say that the donuts from this place are amazing. They are perfectly fluffy and chewy at the same time. Their different flavors are delish but I think most people judge the donut based on the simple glazed donut, which is fantastic. My work is right down the street from OMG and we stop in pretty often. Also, the owner is a super nice guy. He was closed today (black friday) but came in just to make the special order of donuts I placed for my work. Seriously?? Thats dedication.... and there's nothing like a fresh, warm, soft, chewy donut. Support this local business! read more

Have been going here for years now. Fresh donuts, melt in your mouth. The red velvets are so good that when I travel back home to Nebraska to see family they request a dozen red velvets. It's small, no glitz and glamour, just like your home town (small town) donut place. The owner knows you by name and you get donuts filled when you order them! Plus one of the only places as far as stand alone donut shops go that has the white cream filling, most places only have custard. Even if you validate your parking in the store, the video parking system will ticket you. I validated my parking for the time I stayed and left before it was expired and still got a $97 ticket. Parlor is working to resolve the issue but it is not worth my time to go to a place and have to fight a ticket every time I go.

It is beyond me how OMG Donuts could possibly receive a five star review from anyone. Are you reviewing the donuts, or just how nice Peter is? If it's based on how nice Peter is, five stars all the way. Really nice guy, putting in the work, handing out those donuts with a smile. Way to go, that's what you're supposed to do in any business. You're supposed to be reviewing the product they're putting out too guys. My only explanation is these must have been the first donuts you've tasted? Do you have nothing to compare to? I guess then I could understand, or you're just extremely simple people and it doesn't take much to impress you? I had to run an errand up in Westminster and decided to see if there was any doughnut shops I could hit to treat my co-workers with on my drive down to Lakewood. Stopped in and upon entering the establishment I immediately felt like I was making a mistake. The interior is practically all a really depressing and drab dark yellow color. The donuts are displayed in open casing on top of the same disgusting yellow colored trays which causes the donuts to practically disappear and look so absolutely boring you're at a stand still on what you want to select because none of it looks that appealing. I decided to just go with a quick 1/2 dozen, got a sprinkled doughnut, a Bavarian cream filled (which having the doughnut filled on the spot is not impressive at all, seems totally pointless and ill-prepared), a plain glazed, a chocolate glazed, an apple fritter and what appeared to be a crazy doughnut ball made of small doughy toes thrown together. As my selections were being packed up I looked to the right of the counter and saw there was a fountain drink station and coffee. Next to the checkout counter there was a turn-style display case that was empty and looked damn old. To the left was three random pre-packaged cakes of some other brand that looked straight out of King Soopers. Directly in front of me, a few selection of Snickers, Butterfingers and other assorted candies. WTF? The whole atmosphere of the joint was ill fitting and half-assed. If you're not going to focus on offering totally original and outstanding doughnuts that stand out at least make the branding and feel of your establish something you can take pride in. It looks like they just moved in to the shell of whatever business was there before and "made it work" with a coat of yellow paint over everything. Hell, that might have been there before. The three tables that were there in the event you decided to enjoy your doughnuts there consisted of a rectangular and circle poker table you'd expect to see in a poorly conceived man cave and the last a fold-able metal camping table squeezed to the left of the counter. Everything is so mish-mash, even prank shows who setup fake businesses to fool people have more attention do detail than this operation. So bad. On to the doughnuts! Boss advised me the apple fritter was very dry, could barely be cut with a plastic knife and fork. He consumed two cups of coffee just to get through it and finish. The crazy toe doughnut thing I got for myself was difficult to pierce with a fork. No fluffiness or lightness that you would expect from a yeast pastry. Basically a different form of a cinnamon roll. Overall everything was just really basic and completely unoriginal, more of the same created at a mediocre level at best. The only original thing about it is the name and their logo. They don't extend that vision any further than that. Poorly executed and ill-conceived overall. Won't be back. Would recommend coming up with some new and original concepts to make your products stand out. Give your interior an over-haul and carry your branding throughout the store, buy three tables that match and have some assemblance of consistency and you might have a better chance at truly wowing your customers. read more

What a mouth full of yum! Hubby ordered two of the apple fritters 2 glazed, 3 maple long johns and they were filled while he watched with the custard, and a bag of 20 donuts holes. He went ahead and ordered some donuts for our dog groomer and dropped them off to her as well! I am here at home writing this with sticky fingers loving every bit of these fresh made donuts! They are so soft and fresh and way better than Winchells. King Soopers donuts are So STALE NOW! what the heck have I been eating with buying them from King Soopers. I will Never buy another donut from Kings that's forsure. What a eye opener to taste these and realize all along I have been eating crappy Kings donuts! read more
