    My friend really wanted to try this place out, seeing posts on social media, so we went for lunch. It was highly disappointing. It's a buffet so as you go through the line, there's no signage for what the dishes are. Fine if they don't have signage but be friendly when asked what something is! I know Filipino food well but can't always distinguish what the meat in a dish is. When asking any one of the 3 women working behind the line, they are snarky and if they do answer your question, it's quick and they walk away so if you had another question you will have to get their attention agin. And mind you, it wasn't busy when we went. Also, at least two of the women would take food from the trays, and we're eating right behind the line. In my video you can even see it. Food is mediocre at best. Too many of similar type items (Kaldereta) with difference being one is beef, the other is beef and liver. I can't even confirm if it was "Kaldereta"because again, the woman mumbled her answer between bites of food and walking away. The food that was ok to me was the Pancit and Tocino. The "Kaldereta" had good flavor but had way too many fatty pieces of meat. My friend liked the fish and the Adobo Chicken. The Lumpia is a separate charge as well as several other items they have a list of. On social media they showed desserts but we saw zero and when we asked we never even got an answer! The employees are rude in my opinion, more interested in eating themselves. There was a guy bussing tables who was the only friendly person. The place is very simple and clean enough. I did like how they have little bowls you can use for the food, so sauces don't all run together. They also sell Filipino/Asian grocery type items as well as packaged desserts. I would have given them 1 star for the service but the food was (just) ok so gave them a 2. The restaurant has potential but their employees lack of basic customer service is embarrassing- do better.

    Craving Filipino food in Vegas? This local spot offers AYCE and takeout of Filipino comfort food. It's located in a small strip mall so it might be hard to miss. The price is decent for an AYCE. They have little bowls so you can try all the Filipino food goodness without it blending on your plate. The ladies there are helpful to tell you what food is which. The food isn't the best I had but it does the trick in filling you up. I'd still come to support this business everyone I'm in Vegas. My recommendation: Fried chicken skin Kare Kare Pinakbet

    So I think I have been to every Filipino buffet so far as of this writing. Which is 3. Lol. Inside is just a very simple and basic seats. Nothing to spectacular. It does show wear and tear but then again this place has been around for a while. What's nice there is always someone next to the buffet table to either assist you or help you out if your disabled. Pay first. Then grab as much food as you want. Plain and simple. If you like super soft chairs (which I am not) then sit in the booths which also sits a little low so good for tall people. If you like more firm chairs. Sit in the middle selection of chairs. Off to the side they have a mini very mini store that has snacks from the Philippines and if you know you know. When it comes to taste this is my favorite as also it has more selections. And at $17.99 their is another place that is cheaper but it's near Henderson. Overall I'm not expecting high class Filipino food at $17. But temper your expectations and come hungry and you will be happy.

    Back in Vegas again, and my wife and I wanted to show her mom this good AYCE Filipino buffet. We came on a Tuesday, and even though the sign on the door said 'OPEN', the door was locked with no visible way to look inside. After a bit of confusion, a worker same to the door (must have heard the door rattle) to let us in. We later realized that the reason for the locked door was the homeless woman outside who greeted us while we were heading inside. Regulars just must know what to do, since it was quite busy once we got inside. You pay first, with the lunch buffet being $17.99 per person, and a can of soda being $2. There was quite a selection of dishes. Because it was so busy, the food was turning over fast: good to keep the dishes fresher, but bad since once a particular dish ran out, the replacement was usually a different dish. So if you want something, you need to grab as much as you want, since by the time you come back, it might be gone and not be replaced. This happened with the fried bangus and the deep fried bagbagis, both of which I wish I had gotten when originally available. The food seemed to taste better than the last time I came.

    I'm torn on this place. We were looking for crispy lechon and again woman watched some videos and here we are. I can always appreciate seeing people of that culture enjoying the food, as they seem to cater to people who know what everything is. Nothing was labeled. There was usually someone behind the counter, but who wants to ask what everything is! Some things I recognized and gravitated to, but there's a possibility that I might've tried more/different things had i know what was what. Maybe it wasn't for us, and that's ok too. It's super cafeteria style and though I saw the guy come out once to bus plates, they're not on it like a more traditional buffet. There was dirty plates across from us for some time. I asked about the crispy lechon but it was extra. For $18 there was enough out there to keep me occupied. It had a steady stream of customers, both eating and getting food to go. One of the customers I guess misunderstood and was telling us we could only get one plate so get everything lol. They also had signs about being charged for waste, and with the ladies behind the counter we did kinda feel like we were being watched and would've been somehow charged had we not eaten everything. I can't tell you what I got besides chicken skin, lumpia, some rice and meats. I got what I thought was like lumpia (they weren't out at the time) but it had a banana it plantain in it. I wasn't a big fan as I expected savory. The food was pretty good initially, woman basically liked it too, but after I didn't feel well. My tummy was upset until the next day! I would go to another Filipino buffet, but I wouldn't come back to this one.

    The reason why I'm giving a 4 star and not a 5 is just because some days it takes a little longer to get your table cleared of the plates and bowls after you finished and go for your next plate. The vibe of the place could also use updating to make it feel less grungy. So many people complaining that the food has no taste, I don't know if their taste buds are not working properly or it actually had no taste over a year ago, but I can say for the 4 times we came here over the past 4 months the food was always good. Yah some dishes have a little extra oil but if you're using a fattier pork or beef then you will get that in the food so it's no big deal for me, I just don't drink that oil lol.

    Tried everything out there. Garlic rice was outstanding.... not so the noodles

    FIRST TIME ... NOT THE LAST JUST TWO OF US. Not our first LAS Pinoy lunch buffet. LUV the variety of savory choices. Good value for the cuisine. Including beverage it's $20 per person. There's zero table service but void of plastic or paper tableware. Seating is booth or table. Dress is very casual at best. Patrons polite & subdue.

    This is a Filipino Buffet located in Vegas. I made it a point to try it, since I have seen food vloggers made such good reviews about it. It was an okay place, but I've had better Filipino food experience before. I like the Sisig, too bad they don't refill once it was gone. Lots of options to choose from. And it is inexpensive. They have other food items that are not included in the buffet. Some snacks on the side, as well. Place is not fancy. Self service, but someone always come to your table to pick up used plates.

    Been here many times and it seems pretty consistent. This spot is with a small shopping center. Parking can be rough at times but when we went, it wasn't an issue. Typical fast food filipino spot. Loved their option for a buffet. You really cannot beat their price. Their food has quality which doesn't happen often when you go to buffets. Flavorful and not too oily or greasy. Great selection that includes the typical dishes like sinigan (which is always my favorite and was so good here), Adobe, kalderata, bisteak, Kare Karen, etc. But thise are just some of maybe 20 dishes or more that they offer. Staff is so friendly and kind. They stay smiling which makes it for a welcoming environment. It's a self help spot. So you serve first, then pay. They have a water station but you can purchase drinks from them also. They also have baked items and desserts. I alway enjoy coming here and the experience and food is pretty consistent (well worth it).

    2 stars for "could've been better" High hopes on the way..... Well let me preface by saying a phone interaction before going there was odd: ... Ring...ring...ring... Nanay Gloria: YES (at pick up) Me: Hi, is this Nanay Gloria's? Nanay Gloria: YES Me: oh, how much per person? Nanay Gloria: $17.99 Me: Ok Thank you... Nanay Gloria: (hang up) I should have known not to expect average customer service, but we saw YouTube videos with pretty nice feedback. "Please pay first" is the first sign taped to the buffet shield. (See pic) So note, you'll have to walk to the right and walk to register and wait for a staff person to meet you. To the eye, it's very casual with the ambience of a back kitchen with drink boxes under the register, clutter on top of buffet and packaged foods on a side table with shelves of food products (which tbh not sure if it's the restaurants stock or for customer purchase, as you walk to the bathroom. Simply looks cluttered. The main room was furnished with basic tables and chairs and worn out booths on the perimeter of the rooms. The main room had a video of karaoke like singing on one of the TV. This room has the L shaped hot buffet serving displays. I'm going to guess maybe 20 dishes were offered. I saw obvious ones like fried chicken skin, fried fish heads, adobo, cooked banana pieces, steam rice, beef stew (caldereta) and mixed veggie. In addition, the small bowls and metal utensils are in the other (main) room next to the huge rice cooker The side room (on the left side) was an all dining area with another TV, water dispenser, styrofoam cups, "real" plates, an array of sauces and condiments , along with a lidded metal bucket filled with ice. Customers left their dirty plates, bowls and styrofoam cups and metal utensils on the table. The poor worker had to push his cart to pick up the dirty items. It is self serve seating, so waiting for the tables to be cleaned can be a wait, so patience will be a virtue here. The buffet stations were filled well however no labels to identify the dishes. It wasn't just me asking, but I notice others asking. The staff of ladies were not rude but reacted uninterested to answer. I had to ask twice to get a reply. It was a gamble to guess what we had, especially when it came to the sauce or stew type dish offerings. It would be a better guest experience to label the dishes offered especially for visitors who'd like to experience Filipino food. The food was pretty descent tasting. i didn't think it was salty. Later in the evening, a few ppl in my tribe said it was bc their tongue was swelling. Another one said, they felt swelling (and outside temp was not hot at all) For me, only a few items stood out: warm coconut w/ yam dessert, beef caldereta and a bean sprout veggie mix. Their are few tasty ones but again I don't know the names. I was hoping for the peanut butter strew (kare kare), a form of "lechon" or fried or grilled pork belly, fried mini egg rolls (Shanghai lumpia) and my newly discovered Filipino noodle dish Palabok. Don't laugh but bc of Jollibee, I tried palabok for the first x and have been a palabok tasting crazy foodie when I'm in a Filipino themed restaurant. So no Kare Kare, palabok or mini lumpia's :( One thing I notice is that there are no fillers. Fillers are salads or bread. But I'm glad for that. I think drinks are extra. I saw boxes of canned soda (see pic by the side of buffet on the floor) but I was not asked if I wanted to add a soda. They do have two water dispensers in the side room though. Ms. Gloria, please, please, please attach labels with Big and bold dish names. It would be a fantastic service for customers.

    They have their buffet open every day from open to close. Theyll have more breakfast filipino silog selections in the morning, and gradually add other dishes as lunch time approaches.

There was such a wide variety that I sampled a bit of everything. The mashed potatoes are especially noteworthy--smooth, rich, and full of flavor. I also enjoyed the truffle pizza; the truffle flavor is well-balanced, and the crust is soft without being overly thin. Service is excellent, with staff promptly clearing empty plates and consistently refilling drinks.

First, as of this writing, MGM Gold Card Members can get a buy-one-get-one-free offer added to their card at the players' club. The gold card also gets you access to the VIP line. Luckily, we went around 10:25 am on a Monday, and there were only 2 groups in line. Turns out our timing was impeccable as the price goes up at 10:30. This is one of the few MGM Buffets (maybe the only?) that still switches from breakfast to lunch at 11. Although some foods remain common, it's important to note that the seafood bar opens around 11, and there will be a line when it opens, but it moves pretty quickly. We also noticed lines forming about this time, so get there before 11 if you can. The food offerings have diminished somewhat over the years, especially since MGM now owns the place, but not drastically so. It's still a higher-end buffet with unique flavors that you might find at an upscale restaurant. A lot of different meat selections, and a little higher-quality meat as well. We were seated at tables along a long continuous bench, which I hate because it feels like you have zero privacy. The service was top-notch! They don't have a self-beverage service, but they were great at bringing refills. Bottles of water are on every table. They also cleared the empty plates rather quickly. We'll be back in Vegas in about 6 months, and if Wicked Spoon is still open, we'll definitely be back.

Today's visit proved exactly why they are so consistent. They prioritize intentional quality over mindless quantity. I love their unique approach of serving dishes in individual mini baskets and plates. It completely elevates the experience, making it feel like a curated tasting menu rather than a standard buffet. The mini bone marrows are an absolute standout, and one of the reasons I am a repeat customer. Because of the perfectly portioned sizes, they never taste overly greasy. I admittedly ate quite a few! I typically do not care for buffet desserts, but I enjoyed the chocolate covered strawberries (stems attached), mini creme brûlée & fruity pebbles rice crispy treats coated w vanilla (reminded me of the old Milk macarons from LA). I was lucky enough to be seated in Sahli's section today. She was an absolute rockstar! She took incredible care of everyone in her section with genuine attentiveness and deserves serious recognition from management for her hard work. They keep the tables clean, and you don't feel crammed inside. The layout is simple and you won't feel lost. I waited a little over an hour. However, since it was a holiday weekend, this was entirely expected and didn't take away from the experience at all. I will absolutely be back, just as I always am!

Considering it's Las Vegas and during a holiday, I'd say the price felt reasonable for the variety offered. The buffet had a wide selection of food. They had all the brunch basics like eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, waffles, and an omelet station where they cook it fresh. There were also plenty of lunch options including pasta, pizza, roasted meats, and a carving station with prime rib. What I liked most was the variety--they also had sushi, a salad bar, fresh fruits, and a seafood section with shrimp, oysters, salmon, and other options. For drinks, they offered coffee, tea, and juice, which was convenient. And of course, there were lots of desserts like cakes, pastries, gelato, and mini sweets. The atmosphere felt more festive since it was New Year's Day. It was a bit busy, but still organized, and the place has that elegant Bellagio vibe without feeling too overwhelming. Personally, I didn't eat as much as I wanted because I wasn't feeling well that day and didn't have much of an appetite (as I've mentioned in my past videos), but my husband really enjoyed the food, so that made the experience worth it for us. Overall, if you're in Vegas during the holidays and want a place with a lot of options in one spot, this is a good choice. Just come hungry to really make the most out of it!
