    Poke Nachos (partially eaten)
    Anne N.

This gem is a little hard to find since it sits within a business complex, so keep a look-out for the sign! It's definitely worth a little searching and a stop if you're looking for a good meal. It's spacious with open seating. You order at the counter and grab a seat while you wait for your order to be called for pick-up. The staff is incredibly welcoming and kind. Everything on the menu honestly sounded so good that it was hard to pick. The portions are pretty generous, so come hungry or ready to share with friends! I was lucky enough to have been with a big group, so I was able to try a little bit of several items. Some items worth mentioning: 1. Poke nachos - DELICIOUS. You get to pick which poke you want to top the wonton chips. They also let you sample the poke first, so be prepared when you get to the register and make your decision promptly to not hold up the line. 2. Hurricane chicken - literally so much flavor.

Delicious Hawaiian food in a business park not far from highway 15 in southern Vegas. We grabbed food on our way out of town. Everything was made fresh and so tasty! Total local spot. Nice change of pace from all the crazy Vegas restaurants.

I enjoy coming here for local food. I noticed they changed their menu a little and its nice. I really like the girl working in the front because she's always welcoming and provides great service. Definitely gives off Aloha Vibes its always clean in there and spacious. I dont have to worry about saving a table. Try the garlic chicken and the furikake chicken.

    Breakfast Plate with Portuguese sausage

I stopped here for breakfast and got the Portuguese sausage with eggs and rice. The portion size was great and the price as well! I definitely want to come back and try their other things. My food came out fast and hot. This place is in an industrial area so it's a bit harder to spot, but definitely worth it to check out. The staff were nice as well.

Food and service excellent and quick. Portions are generous. Place is busy so you know it must be good. Will be back!

Spam fried rice and a spam musubi

What a great find! I lucked into this place after finding a geocache nearby. Nice, clean little restaurant tucked away in an industrial area. The service was friendly, the food came quickly and the Spam fried rice was exactly what I needed! Highly recommend and would love to come back on my next visit to Vegas.

    Hurricane Chicken and Ahi Katsu

Anytime I want of taste of home this is my favorite place to come!! From their poke nachos to their hurricane chicken this place never leaves me disappointed!! My top three go-tos have to be the hurricane chicken if I want something saucy with a crunch. Next would be their loco moco if I want comfort food. Last line of defense that's never failed me, their meat jun especially with their sauce!! Their food is always packed with flavor and most time their portions can feed me twice!! I can't count the amount of times I've come with family to dine in or to place a take out order to go. This place is always on it and service is efficient. It can get pretty busy depending on what time you're coming in but I've never found the wait time to be too crazy. There is also a solid amount of seating so whether you're here for a quick lunch break or having a meal with friends/family they've got the space. My heart hurts knowing that they'll be heading back home at some point (they haven't released an official date yet) but til then I'll do my best to support and get my fill of all the onolicious food this place as to offer while I still can!!

We had garlic chicken, furikake chicken, loco moco, meat jhun, poke and they were all soooooo good! It's away from the strip but worth the drive. Service was awesome. They had great suggestions and took great care of us!! Come try!!! You won't be disappointed.

    Furikake Chicken Plate (April 2025)

Read a story about Generations Kitchen being a go to place for some top chefs in Vegas, so I knew I needed to try it the next time I was there. It's off the strip on the corner of a business complex and sort of easy to miss if you aren't mapping using an online map app. Arrived around 1:30 pm in the afternoon on a weekday, and there were about 4 tables filled. The decor was streamlined, with a menu above the ordering area. They offer several classic lunch plate options, and we opted to try the furikake chicken, garlic chicken, and loco moco. The large portion of furikake chicken was nicely fried and well seasoned, sitting on a bed of white rice, with another scoop of white rice topped with furikake seasoning and a side of mac salad. The garlic chicken also had an excellent garlic flavor and crunch. The mac salad was creamy but was not as seasoned for our palate compared with other places. The loco moco had beautifully cooked over easy eggs and the beef patty was tender but a little overcooked and could have used more seasoning. A large volume of brown gravy covered the patty and rice which was great, but the gravy didn't taste homemade. We were disappointed that there was no poke or spam musubi available as they ran out early that day. Good selection of Hawaiian Sun sodas and various bottled drinks, but a bit of a bummer that they didn't have free ice water. Overall, despite a few misses, I would definitely come back to try other menu options and hopefully get there to try their poke and spam musubi as well.

I loved: Garlic Chicken I do not recommend: Poke Bowl The garlic chicken is crispy, tender, and packed with flavor. Definitely #goodeats and easily something I'd come back for. The rice and mac salad that come with it are just okay. Pretty plain, nothing memorable, but they do the job as sides. Tried the poke bowl too, and honestly, it was a letdown. The poke itself was a bit too salty, and the bowl was basically just a mountain of rice with fish on top. No extra toppings, sides, or variety that I usually expect from a good poke bowl. It felt really one-dimensional. I highly recommend sticking to the garlic chicken. It is worth the trip alone. Will definitely skip the poke next time. The inside is pretty unassuming and the service is standard.

Incredible service and Hawaiian food. We were in Vegas for 5 days and decided to check out Generation Kitchen as it was close to our condo We asked for suggestions and boy was she spot on. We got the garlic chicken and it was incredible. The chicken was so tender and beautifully breaded and seasoned with garlic bits. It was delicious! We enjoyed it so much that I had to try another item. I ordered the homemade hamburger steak with gravy and onions. Both were so good! Generation Kitchen closes early (6PM I think) and are not open on Sunday. We had late games midtown and were not able to get back in time so unfortunately had to trytwo other so called Hawaiian restaurants and were so disappointed. GK set the bar so high that those restaurants did could not even compare. If you are reading this, go check them out as you will we pleasantly surprised I can wait to visit Vegas again & GK will be my first stop once I exit the airport.

    Hurricane Chicken Plate
    Matthew N.

Food (5/5): I got the hurricane chicken plate and the portion size was HUGE! There was so much flavor with the sauces and toppings, and the chicken was fresh and crispy. Mac salad was a bit plain, but easily solved with a bit of salt or the hurricane sauce. Service (5/5): it took a few minutes to get our food, especially since we did dine in, but we could tell that it was made to order, and it was def worth waiting for. Ambiance (5/5): it was hard to tell it was a Hawaiian restaurant considering the lack of decor, but there was a ton of seating, even when we went around noon, and plenty of parking too. Overall (5/5): this has been my favorite Hawaiian spot I've found so far in Las Vegas and I'm definitely coming back to try some of the other plates!

The chips stayed crunchy! If it wasn't so saucey I'd might rate it a 9/10. But because they drenched it in too much sauce it got too sweet & I couldn't finish the rest. Had to pick out all the chips that had too much sauce. I'm would order this again but maybe I'd ask for light sauce or sauce on the side. Both the katsu dynamite and the furikake chicken, I'd give a 6/10. Honestly maybe even a 5/10 They both were too saucey. It wasn't enjoyable at all. I would NOT get these again. However, I would come back & give this place another shot but most definitely will be try something else next time.

I even noticed small drips on the wall that looked like sauce stains, so yeah...not the kind of spot you come to for ambiance. BUT. The food? Absolutely makes up for it. I saw a steady stream of DoorDash drivers coming in and out the entire time, which already told me this place is popular for a reason and after eating, I get it. The food is really good. Like, seasoned all the way through, flavorful, not dry, not bland everything just hits. The chicken was juicy and tender with that perfect grilled flavor, and the portions are generous. The rice was fluffy, the mac salad was creamy and balanced, and everything together just felt like a solid, satisfying plate. No shortcuts, no watered down flavor, just good food done right. Vegas has a LOT of Hawaiian BBQ spots, but hands down...this is one of the best, if not the best I've had out here. So yeah, don't come here expecting vibes. Frank's macaroni salad wasn't the absolute best I've had, but it was genuinely good--surprisingly better than Zippy's, a true Hawaii staple. The loco moco was excellent: the eggs were perfectly cooked, bright yellow and so delicate they looked like they'd break if you stared at them too long. You get two juicy hamburger patties and two generous scoops of rice, making it easy to stretch into two solid meals. The spam musubi was fresh and still warm (we ordered right at opening at 11 AM and picked it up by 11:30). They added a touch of teriyaki sauce between the rice and spam, which I'm usually not a fan of, but it actually worked really well here. The salty, grilled spam still shone through. We ordered the Crackhead Chicken and Da "OG" Beef to share, and I also got a Spam musubi I had been craving. The musubi was HUGE and really hit the spot. We also ordered a side of Crackhead Chicken without the spice for our 1 year old, and she LOVED it. Normally she throws her food, but this time she actually ate it and kept making the cutest "yummy" faces the whole time. The moment I took my first bite of chicken, my reaction said it all. The flavor was INCREDIBLE! It had a perfect balance of sweetness from the coconut and a nice kick from the spices. Everything worked so well together, and the chicken itself was unbelievably moist and juicy. I also loved that the meat was served over the rice, allowing for all the juices to soak in. The rice was soft, flavorful, and just as satisfying. The macaroni salad was hands down my favorite compared to any Hawaiian BBQ spot I've tried. I also had a few bites of the beef, which had an amazing flavor and just the right amount of char to elevate it even more. The only thing that didn't stand out to me was the coleslaw, but we found out later that you can substitute for extra macaroni salad for an additional 50 cents. We will definitely do that next time! Overall, we had a fantastic experience and will absolutely be back whenever we are in the area. One quick note for parents: there are no high chairs available, and we even searched the entire food court. Since it's inside a casino, it's understandable, but just something to keep in mind.
