The sesame noodles were my favorite base and my favorite dumpling was the veggie. I got all of the sauces and they were great. I tried their cake dessert too and that was really awesome. If I went back I would try an ube cheesecake for sure. It's very small on the inside with some tables outside to sit. It's more of a grab and go place. The packaging was cute and perfect. We wanted a quick bite and Lovebite Dumplings was close by. There is street parking close by and it's easy to find by the pink building. It's a small spot with no indoor seating but there was a few tables out front. The employee was super friendly and the menu is small and simple. We went with a base of pink rice and noodles. Got a few of each dumpling and was recommend the sriracha and kewpie sauce and got the yuzu soy sauce on the side. It's $13 which I think is great! They have drinks and a few desserts in the cooler. The pink rice was delicious. It's a dragonfruit, lemongrass and coconut milk rice. The noodles were a sesame yakisoba noodle. The dumplings were all great as well. Everything had great flavor and tasted fresh. The sriracha and kewpie sauce was the way to go and we didn't even need the soy. I would definitely stop in again and grab a bite if I'm in the area. It's cute inside and out and welcoming! There is a parking lot in the back or street parking nearby. I placed an order for pickup and it was ready within 15 mins on a Saturday afternoon. I was asked if I had been in before and said it was my first time coming in and the woman working gave me a brownie on the house to try, I was so grateful! We ordered the Lovebox and I love being able to customize everything. We added the greens, pink rice, noodles, crispy onions, all of the dumpling options, and soy and kewpie sauce to finish. For the dumplings you can choose amongst veggie, pork, chicken, and shrimp. I like to get all 3 bases and a mixture of all the dumplings! This is a neat little Roosevelt Row place. It's like multiple choice. You get to choose: 1. what you want for the base (what you want your dumplings me to come sitting on). You can have noodles, rice (which is pink), or greens 2. The filling for your dumplings--pork, chicken, shrimp, or veggie. 3. The sauce--yuzu soy, Kewpie, or Sriracha. We both choose noodles and two each of pork, chicken, and shrimp dumplings. I chose the yuzu soy, and my son chose the Kewpie. The shrimp dumplings were "meh" for me, but the chicken and pork dumplings were sooooo yummy!!! The noodles were good, too. I love the pink color theme. It's right up my alley! There is an awesome lighting fixture that looks like a large chain with light globes hanging from it. There is a stack of Lovebite boxes behind the counter, which I'm sure is just there to be used for orders, but still it's looks kind of cool. There is a bowl of condoms (the sign says they are $3 each) topped with a "Prada" clad Labubu. I thought that was interesting--we usually leave Roosevelt Row by about 9:00 pm, but apparently there are some shenanigans going on later in the night that Lovebites and Labubu want to help with. This place had been on my list of places to try FO-EVA!!! So excited I finally had the opportunity to check it out with friends. We walked over to this spot around 8pm on a week day. There were a few groups ahead of us despite it being a weekday evening. The restaurant itself is extremely small, not much room at all. There was seating available outside though. A small selection of desserts were available for purchase too. The line also moves fast, since the menu is streamlined and not too many choices to pick from. After you've ordered, your food comes up at the window outside. I ordered noodles as my base and then choose one of each dumpling plus an additional pork and chicken and the kewpie sauce! If I had known this place was here before then I would have been chowing down on these bomb@$$ dumplings a long time ago. I walked up to the "order pick up" window and the two men inside were sitting down and just stared at me. I made eye contact with be but I thought he was a customer. I stood at the window looking around but I was early so I took a seat outside. My estimated order pick up time was 7:15. I arrived at 7:06. As I'm waiting a group of girls go in and two men that were sitting immediately stand up and great them. I was shocked not realizing they were workers. The girls go in and come out with their food shortly after. I get up and go inside and there is a woman standing behind the counter and she greets me very warmly. I inform her I have a pickup and she immediately hands me my food which is just sitting on the counter. I leave and I eat my dumplings in my car. The dumplings weren't hot but who knows how long they were sitting on the counter. I was shocked to find that there was no sauce in the bag. So I had lukewarm dumplings with no sauce. It took a lot of water to get the food down. I figured sauce came standard as I don't see an option to add it online. Overall wasn't the best experience. These are God awful taste like frozen dumplings and are not even hot. I usually never stop because I'm so close to home and I figure I'll just eat when I get home but last night I was starving and there was a parking spot available so I was like, "today's the day; I'm going to try this" and I am so glad that I did. Makes me wonder how long the food had been sitting out as it didn't taste fresh and was at a luke warm room temperature. It was good but I wouldn't say the best I've ever tasted. Need more flavorful sauces. I do like plain and simple but this was really plain. Also another suggestion would be to have maybe wonton chips as an option instead of crispy onions which I declined having it on my meal. The cheesecake was really good! Well can you call it cheesecake if there was no cheesecake crust? That's what makes a cheesecake! It's purple but didn't taste like ube to me. It was good non-the-less. Friend hyped this place up. I dont know if its because I am Asian who grew up eating lot of Asian food, but these dumplings are cheap gyozas you can buy at H Mart or any asian market in a frozen section while their noodles look like cheap yakisoba where you can buy from costco in the frozen section. To pay $14 for 6 small gyozas, dyed rice, and cheap microwaved yakisoba noodles, not worth it. This is equivalent to if other country were to market American food and go heat up some dino nuggets or totino pizza rolls and put some condiments over it along with microwaved mash potatoes. Their whole business seems to prioritize promoting the business solely based on being woman-owned rather than promoting business through quality of food. I do not care if a business is owned by a man, woman, alien, etc. I do not care if the business is locally owned or out of state transplant owning a business. All I care about is quality of food.
