I tried one bite and it actually stuck to my teeth. I've never experienced that with salmon roe before. I do want to emphasize again how good our waitress was. She immediately comped the ikura, kept our drinks attended to, and was completely on point with service all evening. I overheard another table mention that there was a new sushi chef, which may explain why our experience was so different from the many positive reviews.
