I wanted to try a few different types of fish so I ordered the Crazy Train (Dragon) roll, the spicy smoked salmon roll, and the Kashmir roll - all were amazing. Our server then recommended I order one chicken slider, one beef slider, and one lamb slider, so I ordered Night Moves (fried chicken), Slow Ride (beef), and Hot Blooded (lamb). This is one of the few places you can find open late at night on a weekday in Windsor, and who would've thought sushi and sliders would make such a good combo! Everything tasted fresh and the service was excellent. I got to try a few items but my personal faves were the Tiny Dancer sushi rolls (they're served warm which made it extra savoury) and the Sweet Emotion sliders (wish this sandwich came in a larger version it was just so fresh and yummy!). After reading reviews I figured it's a must try, boy were we disappointed! I gave it 2 stars cause their sliders were actually phenomenal, had the portabello and avacado and they were both equally delicious. Calamari was also really good, well flavoured and sauces were good. The sushi was a huge let down. Portions- not as hyped up to be. Smaller than what we usually get at other sushi restaurants. Portion of raw tuna and salmon in each roll was miniscule and looked very disappointing. At other locations I have a hard time fitting them in one bite, these rolls went in really easy since they were significantly narrower. 2/10 Flavor- mediocre, had I tried to make sushi at home I could've probably made a better sushi 4/10 Robustness- weak, usually sushi rolls done crumble to the point were you had to pick them up by hand cause chopsticks were unusable with these 4/10 Price- $$$$$ considering what we paid and what we received the value was way over priced. I could've received the same value at a cheap all you can eat sushi. 4/10 I definitely won't be returning here again for sushi and I hope they improve their quality and price as their service seems decent. read more

Inhave always said no matter how full I am from sushi an hour later I eant a burger. Here you can do it all at once!! Two of us were there. We had a Tiny Dancer roll from the sushi line up. Fantastic. Great flavors. Very fresh. Definitely a standout. Then we had 3 sliders. It was suggested due a lamb, a chicken and a beef. We did exactly that. I've been here with my wife and our experience overall was good. The sliders were good but nothing to really write home about, just your standard beef slider or lamb slider. They have a decent selection of options. Definitely cooked well and tasted good but it didn't blow me away. My wife and I got a couple rolls of sushi as well and the sushi also was good, but not the best in the area. Service was really good, always filling up our waters to make sure we were never left thirsty. Overall I'd say if you like sushi and/or if you like sliders this is a good date spot with great cocktail and alcohol selections and food that's tasty that won't let you down. Just passing through Windsor on a family trip to the states and saw this little storefront by our hotel. It looks super cute and welcoming on the outside and had some trendy signage so I really wanted to check it out. Plus the idea of sushi and sliders was very intriguing. Unfortunately, we decided against the sliders but ordered two rolls and they were great! Overall, the fish tasted fresh and was nice and chilled. The rice was under-seasoned but it was barely noticeable. Our rolls came with a spicy mayo and regular mayo dip. I was super pleased with the service and they even let us pull up a third bar stool for my baby (1.5 years old). I wouldn't recommend this place for someone with young children because all the tables and chairs are bar height but if you're willing to stick it out, then it's totally worth it! The staff didn't mind when my little one ran around a bit but to be fair, it was 4:30 and really empty so no one to bother. If there had been more people there, we wouldn't have stayed just out of consideration for other people trying to enjoy their food. I'd love to come by and try their sliders! read more

This little hole in a wall place was behind my hotel so I thought I would try it for dinner. Sushi and sliders is a great combo meal. The sliders were fresh, eclectic and tasty. I had the California Rolls. They were big, but not all rice. Just the right amount, with big hunks of crab. Beer selection is excellent. The staff are great, owner George is also the sushi chef and he stopped by to say hello and chat. Had a really great experience here. Loved the sushi. We tried the TNT, crazy train, and baba o'riley. They were all great. You can't go wrong with any of the sliders. Oh my gosh. I wished I lived in Windsor so I could eat here everyday. Definitely one of my favorite sushi bars. Everything there just compliments another thing. The rolls are tastefully named, tastefully plated and paired. The servers are friendly and quick- even when busy. The drinks are fun and light and there's a wide variety. Live music. Quaint setting. My only negative is the seating. Unfortunately the bar and the tables are all very uncomfortable. I like to have a back or a booth to sit and enjoy my company and not constantly feel like my knees are hitting the bar or I am slouching. AMAZING place! Came here while hanging out in Windsor for the night and was immediately greeted. Sat down and ordered a mojito, which was so good and fresh. We ordered the Rocket Man (rainbow roll) which was sloppily put together with chewy fish, and the portobello mushroom roll which was all rice and tempura and very little mushroom in it. This place is a gem. We were very excited to go and were not disappointed. Sushi is fresh, classic but also original. Service was warm yet professional. Atmosphere is trendy and welcoming. Playlist was out of this world. Bar tending was exceptional. Food was so, so delicious, best sushi we've had in Windsor for sure. We tried one of each of the 6 sliders and they were all very well balanced and tasty. We were asked if we wanted them cut in half so we could share which was so thoughtful. Given my daughter is a sushi fan and I am not (and had a craving for burgers), this restaurant was the perfect place to try. The ambiance is neat - dark ceiling and decor, but still easy to see your dinner companion and food. Daughter ordered the tempura sweet potato roll which looked good and she loved. I couldn't believe it was only $5 for the number she received. We noticed they have a $10 lunch special - one roll, one egg roll, and one slider. That sounds great. The sliders are $4 ea or 3 for $10 so I gave 3 a try. I ordered the Magic Bus (lamb burger and goat cheese on bruschetta, and another two that were beef Slow Ride and L.A. Woman. They are all named for famous songs. If I wasn't told otherwise, I would have thought the beef patties were lamb, just not seasoned the same way as the Magic Bus. Fortunately, I like lamb. They were all very lean burgers, with all the condiments were very good. I did dip a couple bites in the soy sauce that's on the table to add a little more flavor. I encourage you to try it, as it was a tasty, economical meal in a neat place, but I'm not likely to seek it out again unless my daughter has a craving for sushi and I have to take her. read more

Great mood, with not-too-dim lighting and a nice music selection. Had the dragon roll and the tnt, as well as splitting a few sliders. Can honestly say this is the best sushi I've had in a while, with the sliders pairing surprisingly well. Drinks here are also great, and the bartender was a nice guy.
