We had just moved to the area back in June 20' and this was the only place that was open along this strip. So glad it was. We all wore a mask. From the staff in the back to the waitresses and bartender. All patrons too. We could not sit at the restaurant due to the restrictions of my husband being in the military. So we ordered to take it out. It was delicious. We both did the French onion burgers & fries. This is our go to for pick up. It's on the way home and everyone is so friendly. I cannot wait for hubbies restriction to finally lift. This place deserves our dine in business as well as yours. Please stop by and give them a try. My new favorite meal is the buffalo chicken tacos, today. I am the type that orders the same thing almost every time I walk into a restaurant. But this place is not the typical Resturant. Their menu is simple. But a lot of restaurants could stand to learn a thing or two by keeping it simple. But you can honestly close your eyes and point and I'm sure you'll love what they bring you. The food is always great when we come here. The service is to be desired for at times. We've been 4 times and it's been 50/50 on service. The burgers are great. They don't serve Old Fashioneds - the drink, which is weird because they have a full bar. Overall, it's kind of expensive for a small town bar and grill. But the food is super good. read more

My food was awesome, I cleaned my plate... Service was awesome, one of my favorite waitress works here. Ask for Shelby when you go in. I like the restaurant, you can eat inside or outside. I ate inside my first time & I think I will sit outside next time. I had the Parmesan crusted catfish fillet, corn nuggets & green beans. Food is awful. How anyone can give this place a decent rating never has had good food. Just had angus sirloin steak. The steak was rubbery and difficult to cut, certainly not angus. By the way, the steak was about 4 ounces.The vegetables are bland, no seasoning just steamed. Who serves a steak in a bowl? This place uses inferior quality food and lacks any class. The owner is clueless and not concerned with quality and customer satisfaction but profit only, the only reason this place might stay in business is that there aren't many restaurants in Azle. read more

We're confining our covid restaurant visits to those with outdoor seating. This one could b great for that. The Chicken Fried Chicken was great, with excellent green beans (fresh, not canned) and fried okra. Ethan took good care of us, but never did find any ketchup. I'd like to c them open the east side of the front patio, or the back patio to make talking easier (since u would be away from the TVs). Good burger very juicy and tasty. The fries were crispy and hot. Bacon was crisp and the buns hold up very well for this juicy burger.

It was okay. I'm not sure if it was just the day I went but the customer service wasn't great. I ordered a BLT without tomatoes, so basically a BL and the tomatoes still came on them. My friend had asked for ranch with her original order and had to ask again. The food wasn't the best either. I still want to give it another try but the first experience was disappointing. read more

Good burgers, and I love the sweet buns. I personally like them better than Red's. But mostly just for the burgers. The rest of the entree's ate pretty meh. Staff is always been cool for me. They have fried mushrooms which are usually good, but sometimes hit or miss. You know prices everywhere are going up, but they are about right for a dining restaurant and for what you get. This is definitely one of the better places to eat while in Azle. The price is fair for the quantity and quality of food. Their is a decent variety of food from burgers, pasta, catfish, etc. My favorite is their shrimp pasta or Azle burger. read more

We went to on the patio to enjoy the patio and enjoy being there. The food and the waitress were great. However, the owner/manager was off putting. We asked if the plastic behind us could be dropped down to guide the wind in a different direction. My friend's salad was blowing off her plate. And there were a few cutains down already. So we didn't think it would be a big deal. The manager said no that he wouldn't let it down, that if we didn't like it to move. I was just shocked that he was that rude. He could have explained maybe it was too complicated or broke or anything in a nice manner. but he did not. Didn't even check it out. Just disappointed in his attitude. read more

We just moved into the area & have been wanting to try this restaurant. SOOOOO SLOW. We were seated right away but took FOREVER for a waitress to come get our drink order. Then forever to get our drinks. Then forever to order. (Total almost ~15 minutes). The food came out in a timely manner , but one of our orders was wrong. The lemon pepper chicken was really good!! perfectly cooked! The two sides were hush puppies & veggies, both of which were good, but only 5 hush puppies. 5 small hush puppies. Other things to note: the table was dirty, and whole surrounding area was dirty: dust and dirt on the walls and the window sill. There were also a lot of flies! (to be fair we were sitting by the door.). Overall: there are a plethora of other restaurants with good service, good food with good portion sizes, & a clean environment. I live close by and used to love coming here on occasion when I just wanted to belly up to the bar and enjoy good drinks and conversation. The bartenders were great, personable, and attentive... Now? Not so much. The last few times I've been it's been difficult to get a bartender's attention, even when it's slow. The girl behind the bar today acted like she'd rather be anywhere else in the world. Their newest bartender, Jeff, thinks he's God's gift to the bar industry. Asked if we'd had a chance to order yet (we hadn't), then proceeded to talk over us trying to make small talk, then started to walk away. I had to get his attention back and ask him if we could please order food. He NEVER stopped talking the whole time we were there, and his loud booming voice carried across the whole place. He kept talking loudly even through the national anthem during the super bowl. No clue how to make a Ranch Water (how is this possible in Texas?!?) and when I explained it to him, what I got was basically straight lime juice... and it was that sweetened lime juice instead of fresh, which just made it worse. As a 20 year veteran bartender, I've never wanted to get out of a bar so fast. We were going to stay at least through the half time show but left before the end of the first quarter. Please bring back or hire some bartenders that know how to interact with customers, anticipate guest needs, and can hold a respectful conversation without just talking over people the whole time. 2 stars for always great food. I had a burger, which apparently they were trying a new recipe.... it tasted like a a burger you would have at a cookout if the grill master didn't know how to season the meat... it was not good. Ate here a couple times before and never this bad, went tonight and had the worst experience ever.. The entire thing was filth.. menus nasty, both sets of silverware dirty and was replaced.. salt shaker covered in food gunk and to top it off had a roach crawl across our table just in time for the waiter to see it as he busted the table.... he apologized and then to top it off they charged full rate with no offer to make this experience less nasty or offer for a better experience next time, nope nothing !! Full rate for complete FILTH !! We had a group meet here and they were very accommodating. The Cajun burger was absolutely mouth watering and amazing. I don't have a reason to head out this way again but if you have to go out there definitely stop at this place. Steak was a little dry. I would order the burgers! read more

Ok so I really like the food here and I don't want it to go out of business so I'm writing this with hopes of change. First of all the kitchen can't run an entire restaurant. Meaning just bc the food is good... if the drinks are horrible and everything is filthy people won't come back. Clean the salt and pepper shakers!! On the bar the napkin holders are disgusting!! And there are NO napkins in them. There is no excuse not to have everything cleaned and stocked when your super slow. And maybe that's why your super slow at 12:30.... Margaritas are horrible!! Teach the bartenders how to make drinks the right way!! Please do better bc this could really be a cool place. BTW all of this is he managers fault... he should have fixed this stuff along time ago!! read more

There aren't many choices for restaurants in this area so I've given The Patio several tries. I don't like giving negative reviews, especially right now. But........ I'm very disappointed every time. Tired & boring menu, restaurant always looks a bit less than clean, way over priced drinks. Service is slow and the servers seem more interested in their phones or the TV than they are the customer. Great place with a huge fireplace and an old log cabin feel. Had the BLT with the Texas toast and happy with the right amount of meat and fresh ingredients. Husband had the Hornet Burger which was loaded with jalapeño peppers and a great sauce. Great service as well, will be back. read more
