This an awesome little bar out in the burbs located at Jones @ West. It's usually packed on the weekend and the people are really down to Earth. We can usually go here and start a conversation with a stranger pretty easily. Just general atmosphere is upbeat and casual. The crowd is usually from the 25-35 range, but can vary either way on any given night. It can get too loud, and sometimes they have bands, which I don't think are very good. Another bad thing is that it is sometimes get ridcously crowded, but they are moving across the street to where the Ninfa's closed down. Drink prices are pretty much the same as other bars, I dont think I have heard them have drink specials. I would probably call this the hang out spot for Cy-Fair for when you want to go out to meet people, but don't want to go far. read more

On 4-7-2012 Went up there for a night of dancing and parting with a group. DJ rocked the house. We ordered two bottles that night for about 175.00 dollars a piece. Set ups where great. Had a little trouble gettting more ice. After addressing the issue to the manager we had to much ice. Good looking out. Don't know if waitress was to busy or clueless but it happens. Over all we had a great time and partied hard for that hour and a half. Two A.M came way to fast. Will go back. Also have eaten off the menue a few times. A few friends and I came here on a Sunday for crawfish which is $2.99 pound and it comes in 3 pound let me tell you the crawfish are disgusting!!!! I actually sent them back I just refused to eat them! They tasted salty, frozen, and they were very small and the potato's taste like dirt! Ewww! Oh and the butter they give you taste like oil! One of my friends had the flat bread pizza and that tasted like one of those frozen pizzas you put in the oven! Great place to hang with friends. Unfortunately, there's a few professional aspects that require attention. The beer list was not valid, where three choices were not on tap. The cost of a pint was surprisingly high for the area. Staff have no distinguishing uniform, not even a t-shirt, to stand out from the patrons, which included management. I'm so loving this place. I got shrimp quesadillas today for lunch and they were absolutely amazing. The lunch special was three tacos for $5. You really can't beat that. The food is superb. Crawfish on sunday seemed reasonable price $3.99 not bad right. Well I ordered 2 lbs twice so 4 lbs altogether for myself. I might have received 2 lbs. They are very skimpy on crawfish and sides were ridiculous. Meaning a pathetic attempt at sides. Rox, don't be cheap with customers. I spent $40 0n a skimpy 4lbs and one pitcher of Miller. That sux when you leave hungry, sober and smelling like an ashtray. $40 down the drain..... However, if smoke doesn't bother you it was a clean and classy sports bar. Started our Sat night here, place was pretty happening, nearly full at 10pm. Lots of waitstaff, our waitress handled out table of 8 fine. Nice mix of people here but mostly people going out, had a fun vive. I was surprised how good the food was, the fries were awesome, love the spices on them. I was a little disappointed in the chicken tenders in that I only got like 3 of them and 2 were pretty small, didnt feel like I got my moneys worth on them but they did taste great. We stopped here for dinner last night and sat in the no smoking section. It smelled awful, like cigarette smoke. There was only one other couple on that side besides us. We waited 15 minutes and no one ever greeted us or attempted to take our order. Therefore, we left and will not be returning. Would not recommend. read more

Thursday night is grill night, you can get a steak, chicken, or pork chop (and chicken also if you want) I usually frequent this place a lot more during football season for the grill night and Thursday night football combo. They have a smoking side and then almost a mirror image totally separate non smoking side with TV's everywhere. The grill night food and the regular menu I'd say is above average for bar food and better then a lot of actual restaurants sadly. The service has always been at least good and have never had a bad experience here that i can think of after visiting probably at least a dozen times. read more

On my visit i was less than impressed. There were two bartenders, only one of which would stay behind the bar at any given time, who were both unfriendly and UN-attentive. When i tried to get the attention of one of the bartenders to close my tab, she chastised me for interrupting her even though i was standing there for five minutes and she had her back to her guests. I really enjoy coming to this place! The staff is always friendly and make you feel super comfortable at any time you come in! If you go there enough, the staff will usually remember what you like to drink which is A+++++! They have a Food Menu and I can't express this enough, THE FOOD IS DELICIOUS. I would totally recommend the Taco Nacho Quesadilla :). The new location gives you a ton of real estate, and what is really nice is now there's a smoking (side) and non smoking on the opposite side of the bar where you can get great service also! It's super helpful for smokers & non smokers. Friday & Saturday nights are always fun and can get busy but not super crowded where it's elbow to elbow. The Touch Tunes is always on so there's always an option for you to listen to exactly what you want. The DJ plays really awesome music too so the place will make you want to bust a couple of dance moves :P If you're ever in the area of Cypress, check it out! My first experience last night was horrible... I'm not one to easily give bad reviews and give the benefit of the doubt, but I hated it. I set a birthday thing up for my friend. I give 1 review all because of our waitress (I will find my receipt later to find out her name and inform you later because I suggest NOT to have her; jet black hair, height is short, hair length is around the shoulders. I hope she see's this and remembers who I am so she can reflect on the bad service I received even though I know she will probably be arrogant and think she did nothing wrong). So we sat at the table and a guy took our orders right away, not the waitress. Really nice guy, very informative. I tipped over 20% for our shitty waitress just because I'm THAT kind of person, so this girl got $20+ in tips alone from me. We waited half an hour just to finally waive the waitress down to get our next drink order. I asked for 6 regular tequila shots, 1 Patron shot, and a pitcher, so 7 shots overall right? This lady gave us only 6 shots!! She still charged me for everything. Me and my friends kept wondering where the 7th shot is because the birthday girl was suppose to have 1 extra, but she ended up giving her extra away to a friend. My friends didn't understand why I got so worked up and told me to get over it but shots are EXPENSIVE. I gave her a GREAT tip AND she just persisted to argue with me, so I gave up. One of my friends later said she had an extra tequila shot on her tray but didn't think that was mine. Wonderful... I stopped going to her and kept going to the bartender afterwards, which was VERY nice and FAST! Bartender was more busy than my waitress and she got my drink within minutes. I briefly told her what happened and she apologized for her, but I will not accept that apology for her. I will never go back... And I never say that about any place. I'm sure everyone one else are great staff members, but this one? Nah... Looks like she doesn't like working there and takes her sweet time. I've worked in a restaurant, I get it some can slip up and mess something up on accident, but this lady was not very good and didn't seem to care about the quality of her work and how she treats guests, which is what you are SUPPOSE to do as a waitress! Will never go back, you should not treat new customers badly and only wait on your regulars. This place has a smoking and non smoking side which is great option to have in a bar. Daily drink and food specials that compete with any place. Big screen tv's all throughout the place and clean bathrooms. (only know about the mens room) But aside from everything I mentioned, my favorite thing about this place are the people who work here. I have been coming here for almost a year, anywhere from 1 time every three weeks to maybe 3 times a week, and not once have I ever received bad service. (no lie) That was one of the first things about this place that drew me back, the service. The bartenders are great and never miss a beat. Meh. Nothing too special about this place. I've been to this location a few times and it was alright. The last time I was there I decided to sit at the bar. It was in the afternoon so of course not much going on yet. Just a few people there. The bartender was amusingly unprofessional. Her personality was kind of immature and her chipped nail polish didn't help her impression. Honestly this could have been a 5 star experience. It was first time being there and I started of by really liking the scene. Friendly waitress, was a mixed crowed every one was friendly. Went with my coworkers after work and drank a bit and played pool and went and purchased two songs to play and they where in Spanish. Thinking it was going to be a nice mix up seeing how more then a third of the crowed was hispanic. But as soon as my songs came on they skipped them. At first I though it was odd because not even 20 min earlier they played a Spanish song. So I went up to the bar and asked the manager about my songs. And she said" I'm sorry I skipped them because not everyone in here knows Spanish and they don't want to hear that music" I thought that was rediculouse. And the same happen to two hispanic girls that where there as well needless to say that that was first and last time I'LL EVER go there. Again sucks because the rest of the staff was nice. Crowd was good and I could of honestly been a five star experience but I am not going to tolerate such disrespect. Hope the owner hires a new manager more professional. This place could blow up and really be a great place to go spend some good time.
