On time!!! Boom!!! They just installed our new solar system... Couldn't be more happier!!! Brian was awesome... he did his due diligence in researching what my house needs... it took several weeks to figure it out... he didn't rush, but the outcome was outstanding!!! Well this is an initial review and I will update once they are able to complete the job.... Let me start off by saying that I went with this company because of the good reviews. But now I will add my own. They came to the house and gave me an estimate for a new mini split because they suggested that it would be better to purchase a new one than to figure out what was going on with my current one. Which I kind of expected because I feel the first one was a dud and the install was worse(not by this company). So I went ahead and purchased a new one from this company and agreed on an install date. Install date came and the crew of 2 arrived on time and started. About 7 hours later, they go to plug in the new unit and all my lights go out and something else in the new unit blows. Well the guys figure out they have the wrong type of mini split. My fuse box for the units is a 220 and they bring a 110 unit. The tech admitted his mistake and apologized for not being thorough in making sure they had the right voltage or whatever and even though I was upset I also understand that mistakes happen. So! They leave and at this point still no AC. At this point I have already given a $900 deposit and the unit is now installed. That was on a Thursday. They couldn't come out Friday and don't do weekends so now it's Monday morning and a new tech comes out. Well about an hour and half into him being there I get a call from him stating he was given an incorrect part. After all the hiccups I now have a great new mini split. I would also like to add that the very next day my dog decided that the AC remote was his new chew toy....ugh!! We had a crack in our furnace and we started shopping for a reputable company to have it fixed. Came across On Time on Yelp. They sent out Gus for no cost bid on a new furnace. He was very honest and informative. We immediately liked him. We received 4 total bids prior to Gus and after meeting with Gus we signed on the spot to have our furnace and ducts redone. The asbestos abatement company had given us a higher quote than what is normal due to the fact that we have 2 separate attics and the owner Mike ate the cost of the difference since they had given us a different quote when we signed the contract. Mike's workers are very thorough and quick. They left the house clean. Price is very reasonable for everything they had done!!! Also FYI, the company offers a same as cash loan 0% for 12 months!!! My furnace wasn't working and I called OnTime. they had a tech come out immediately and do a diagnostic test on it. He figured out the problem and ordered the parts and had it fixed the next day. They honored the $100 coupon and applied my diagnostic fee towards my bill. I also got an additional 15% off for signing up for their maintenance plan. Altogether I saved over $400. I just purchased a whole house fan in my home through On Time Home Services, and I am so happy with the results and service. I have a flat roof with no access to my attic; my upstairs was stuffy and hot and I had to have the air conditioner on night and day even when it was cool in the evenings. I wanted an alternative to keeping the air conditioner on. On time Home Services was the only company that knew how to do it. I must have called seven companies to give me an estimate for a whole house fan, and each company either wanted to sell me something else or said that it was impossible because they couldn't have access to the attic. The first day I got the fan, we opened all the windows, and it cooled my stuffy upstairs substantially, better than our air conditioner would. My upstairs was breezy, cool, and super comfortable. It was no longer stuffy and uncomfortable. On the first night, I left the upstairs windows open, and the temperature got to 67 degrees upstairs due to the cool evening breeze. When I woke up in the morning, my downstairs was 73 degrees. The fan is a bit loud, but totally worth it for me. If you want to save energy and not run your air conditioner all the time, and you live in an area that has cool evenings, but your home is stuffy even when the windows are open, the whole house fan is the best product. It will cool your house down better than an air conditioner. Mike the owner came to my home to give me the estimate, and explained how he was going to do it. He answered all of my questions. Peggy in the office is super professional and gets things done as soon as possible. Super kind people, they don't try to sell you things that you don't ask for. Installers were great, and installed it in about 6 hours. I am so happy that I have this product in my home. Don't waste your time calling other companies that you find in the newspapers or home magazines. Call On Time Home Services, you won't regret it. read more

ZERO STARS!!! Worst service I have ever experienced. You would be better off trying to get free registration from the DMV, than working with these people. From the very beginning TY didn't seem like he was interested in my concerns. I informed him that I had a leak and probably a clocked drain pipe. He didn't even open the condenser panel to see if the pan was filled (I know this because it was still sealed with silicone top to bottom). He then told me that rats had eaten through my ducting and it needed to be replaced, I had a refrigerant leak and wouldn't be able to pump cold air, and my coil was almost rusted beyond use and he said I had a crack in my condenser pan. Again how you know these things without even opening the panel is beyond me. He was "super generous" about giving me a "discount" and quoting me $3000 for a new condenser coil and ducting....which I doubt he even looked at. I had another repair company come out and fixed the problem in less than an hour for $200. We drained the clog. There was no sign of the coil being "too rusty to function" and no sign of a refrigerant leak, and no sign of rats chewing up my ducting. I don't appreciate you coming to my home not barely even looking at my system and then telling me that I need to replace the whole thing because "no one would be willing to patch it up and crawl under your house". You left my A/C running with the filters off...on the floor...and didn't even tell me, just "how do you want to finance your $3000 payment. Your company is a joke and I hope your ashamed of yourselves. read more

Gus! Gus! Gus! No one else will get my business from here on out with this company. Last year, I spent over 5k on a new unit for half of my home and then SUPPOSED to have been a NEW battery pack on the secondary half of the system. Welp, here we go this week, my tenants notified that the second half of the home (upstairs) where the battery pack was supposed to have been installed was not working. Fast-forward, I get in touch with the repairman and company, at which time it was learned that last year the former repairman did not actually complete the entirety of my repair job. This was news to me-- as; I spent over 5k about 10 months ago. With all of that; after researching and getting the entirety of the matter rectified because Gus was honest, reliable and dependable-- as he shared that the replacement battery pack had not been done. The repair cost quoted about 5 hours ago was far less than what it turned out-- ALL because Gus believed that I was knowledgeable, I knew what I was talking about, and he put in the work to investigate the matter.. We came back from a trip to find we had no heat and it's been in the 40's and 50's here in So Cal. BRRRR. Since we just remodeled our home 1.5 years ago, we could not believe there was something wrong with the system. On Time told us someone could not be there for 2 days! We had an electrician come instead who told us the HVAC system was working fine the problem was the thermostat! When our appointment time came, Gus from ON Time was outstanding. He said they had been having problems with that brand and model. An additional challenge for replacement was we had a very narrow spot for him to put in a new thermostat. This limited our options considerably. After consulting with HQ, he did not have the one they recommended with him. He told us he would not leave us in the cold. He went off get to get the part from a nearby distributor, install it, and stayed with us until everything was up and running -- including helping my husband set up the phone app to run it remotely. He also talked to his management to give us a credit for the one that failed after only 1.5 years. We were very satisfied and felt Gus really went above and beyond for us. read more

I was completely disappointed by our experience with On Time Home Services. The technician who came to the house, Marcos, was a very nice guy and did his best to troubleshoot the heating problem. He's new with the company and after correctly diagnosing the problem, decided to call a supervisor for some extra help and guidance. That's where the trouble began. The supervisor, came in and informed my dad that he needed a new motor for his heater. Okay, fine. Because my parents are "members," they were offered a special price of $711 for a motor installed. But wait, instead of spending that much on a motor, your system is old and will probably break down so how about $4109 for a new one? Oh, and wait, my boss can get you a discount if you buy an older model from 2016, how about that? (Calls boss.....) The boss says he can give $500 off a heater and $1500 off if they get a whole new system for just $13K! Oh and wait, don't bother checking out other companies because I would never say anything bad about another company but this is what they do: they quote you a price and then gouge you on incidental charges but I won't tell you other companies are bad.....! My dad said he would like to shop around and then the supervisor asks my dad how many companies he would be shopping so he knows how much time to give him. He was very confrontational at this point. My dad said he would at least call Costco and this guy tells my dad that Costco is ridiculously expensive and tacks on an extra 15%. He then tells us all about the great Yelp reviews from On Time Home Services and then says if it were him, he would get at least 3-5 estimates from other companies. He also tells us it's too cold to go without heat and they should just get started. Again my dad says he'd like to get some other estimates. He then starts in about how they price match with an extra 10% back if we can find the same equipment with a better price so why not just get the job started and get money back after the fact. This was about as painful as sitting in a time share sales meeting! At this point, I asked him to please stop because my dad said very clearly that he wanted to shop around. Well you would seriously think we threw cold water in his face because he was instantly enraged, got up and stormed out of the house. Oh but wait, there's more! He comes back in and says it's $89! (They changed a fuse in the heater before diagnosing the bad motor.) My mom and dad bought into their maintenance program and were confused as to the policy. My mom asks, "why is it $89, why so much?" and he asks my mom, "how much do you think we should charge?" to which my mom says, "we don't pay because it's covered on our plan." Instead of politely explaining to them that this policy is for twice yearly maintenance and a discount on needed service and parts only, he rudely tells her they don't do work for free and it's $89 for the service call. (My parents misunderstood and believed the policy to be a warranty, not a maintenance policy.) I called Peggy in the office to ask her what the charge should be to change a fuse. She wouldn't tell me! She said she would talk to the technician and he could tell me the price. I offered to pass the phone to him and she said she would call him on his phone. So yes, she calls him, he steps outside and when he comes back in, the service call is now $159! Yeah, I don't think so! I called and spoke to Mike and let him know that my parents will pay the $89 and their company can write off the difference. There were six adults in the home at the time of this transaction and we were all appalled at the unprofessionalism of Daniel, the supervisor and Peggy, the office staff. read more

Spring is up and the heat is bearable but a cool air would be awesome unless if you have a non-reliable AC unit. Caesar were cordial and approachable. With his expertise as an electrician, he was very knowledgeable with his line of work. He diagnosed what was wrong and had Peggy order the replacement parts through the warranty on the first day, they received the replacement part and Peggy scheduled me right away on the 2nd day, and Caesar installed it on the 3rd day. Now that's what you call impeccable and efficient customer service with on-point communication and outstanding team work;). They save me from the stresses in getting the unit fixed and I've gained more knowledge from Caesar through his explanation and professionalism.
