We had a tire blow out 15 miles south of Barstow, first thought no big deal pop the spare on and continue down the road. Unfortunately we ran into problems after problems one of them being the lug nuts did not fit the spare. After several calls around the area including our insurance road side assistance the only person that we could find to bring us some lug nuts was Antonio. He kept in contact with us via text message we texted him our location and we sent him pics of the lug nuts we had (that didn't fit) and the wheel, he texted us back with a pic of the lug nuts that were at the store unfortunately they only had 7 of them and we needed 8 but we put those on and limped in to town. Antonio followed behind us with his flashers on. On time Mobile Truck & RV Repair 28 August 2021 Although Anthony and Paul came about 2 hrs late, its obvious that they have no formal training in RV repair but have some mechanical knowledge and the internet which they used to narrow down the problem we were having with our slideout. 3 hours later, the problem was discovered, and a remedy applied. Although their remedy only fixed the failed part on the track that the slideout operates on, we are forced to replace the slideout's motor and maybe the switch. As it is, we have to hand crank the slideout in and out until we can get to a reputable RV repair service to solve the rest of the slideout's electrical issue. As Nonresidents of the state and being a Saturday-they were the only ones available in Barstow, so we were forced to pay their ballooned invoice in cash. For some reason, they don't take cards or checks only cash which tell us they are not licensed, bonded or even legit. Their vehicle is not a work vehicle, no name on the side. About the only positive thing we can say is that they do try their darndest to solve our slideout problem. At least we can operate it manually for now-Thanks guys! read more

My husband called him and he assured us he knew what was wrong with our RV. He said he can go find the part and even bring it to us. It sounded too good to be true. He asked we send him 340.00 through cashapp and the rest we pay when he gets there. We told him we didn't have cashapp but can pay him through Venmo or cash when he got there. He said no, he needed the money because he wanted money for gas and to buy the part. Ok... well it started to look a little more fishy when we tried paying him through cashapp but cashapp would send a response back "for your security, this transaction was declined". I told my husband this sounded a little fishy. He finally said to try Venmo. Well Venmo went through but he was having trouble taking the money out of Venmo. Well it makes sense, he's been scamming so many people that these apps have caught on. People have been reporting him and that's why transactions wouldn't go through. Well he took our money and never showed up. 6 hours later and no response or no answer to our phone calls we realized he wasn't ever showing up. Please save your money and time!! He will scam you! on 12/30/18 my fuel pump on my rv went out in Barstow at loves gas station. Antonio came out and replaced it . when he was done I paid him and asked how the warrenty would work seeing that I lived in north san diego county, he said no problem he goes to vegas all the time. as he was leaving I found a large nut under the rv and showed it to him, he said that was not from my rv. when I got home I crawled under my rv and found where that nut belonged on the top strap on the fuel tank and the following, T bolt on front top strap not in the strap, cross threaded bolt into frame holding on the tank, fuel fill hose clamp dangling in the middle of the hose. this was on Wednesday I called him Thursday he said he would come on Saturday and never showed. when I talked to him Saturday night he said he forgot, I told him not to bother id fix it myself. he also charged $429.00 for a $96.00 fuel pump. read more

Our Tahoe broke down on the way back from Havasu to Orange county CA. Alternator went out about 25 miles from Ludlow, 1 hour from Barstow. We called On Time Mobile Mechanic at 6:40pm on a Sunday and he answered right away. Took a very long time making it out to us, but he did make it out by about 11pm and replaced our Alternator and jumped the car so we could be on our way. Positives: He came out late on a Sunday night and drove over an hour to get to us. Without him we would've been stranded (no other mechanic shops were open). Negatives: It took him about 4.5 hours to get out to us, and it's only an hour drive. He said the extra time was from having to pick up a part....We were on the side of the highway. It also was quite expensive for a relatively simple fix. Overall, On Time Mobile Mechanic was our only hope and he did come out and fixed the car and he did a good job on it. Even though it took an extra 3.5 hours for him to arrive and was more expensive than anticipated, he was at least able to get it done late on a Sunday night. read more

I had my car break down in Barstow on my way to San Diego. I found on time mobile mechanic on the web. I called and Antonio Goode was the owner mechanic. A solenoid had gone bad in the transmission. Antonio assured me he could fix it in a couple days. 2 1/2 month later, it still wasn't done. All I got from him were excuse after excuse. I had to go pick it up and haul it home for our local mechanic to fix. When I picked it up, it was still in pieces in his dirt front yard. I paid half in advance, never got done. Being that i was having an engine issue far from home, I was desperate to get my car fixed.. The "mechanic" he sent to fix my car was a nightmare, he smelled strongly of alcohol, he was unkempt.. I do not believe he had very much, if any knowledge of auto repair. He poked around my vehicle for a few minutes before I had to stop him.
