I came in looking for something for my nephew. The store was well organized and easy to shop. Everything is clearly divided by size. The employees were friendly and offered to help me find anything I was looking for. The prices seemed fair. I also liked that the shoes were all in bins arranged by size and gender. I would not recommend selling here. I called ahead to ask what they were buying and they said everything but barely bought anything. Their offers are also insanely low. Maybe 5% of retail pricing max. Not worth my time to bring the items there. You can make way more offering for super cheap on Facebook or Mercari. Esp for new or like new items. Wish i can give 0 stars. Ladies that work there are so rude... brought a bag full of clothes with tags still on them and another bag full of shoes with tags. While waiting on my order I looked around and seen most of the stuff there looks used or not in good condition. When my order was ready they barely took anything but the shoes and offered me $20 for the things they did want. Said they don't take Gerber clothes which frankly I find that insane, because this is the ONLY location I have ever heard this rule. read more

highly recommend going to another location. I brought in 2.5 heavy bags worth of kids clothes that have never been worn to this location after calling to make sure they would accept them for them to break one of my bags and turn me away. They said they couldn't sell international clothing, but the tags had US sizing so I'm not entirely sure what they were referring. one young lady there was an Angel. the other other two thought it was funny that they broke my property then looked at my with a goofy look when I asked who would reimburse me. read more

I had a okay experience with them the first time I went, so I didn't go back for awhile. I figured I would give them another shot and I ended up with shoes with dry rotted soles and a sleeper with holes in the feet. We were not able to return bc I had removed the tags and only had the receipt from two days before when I bought them. These were completely unusable and the refusal to make it right was even more upsetting. We ended up throwing them away Bc they are obviously not even in good enough condition to donate anywhere. I trusted the store too much and didn't take a close enough look at the clothes before I checked out. read more

I'm in the middle with this place. As a company I think i will go back just not this location. I came yesterday on my lunch break cause they had a flash sale. Their system was down ( which I understand ) I didn't have enough cash so I waited to see if they could figure it out. At 1st the ladies thought the manager forgot to pay the bill again (ouch). Anyways I asked if I was to come tomorrow would they still honor the sale for me , after waiting 25mins they said sure. I left my name and number with the clothes I had to leave behind. Don't sell to them. It's a waste of time. I took an entire bag of clean name brand kids clothes most of it either never worn or gently worn. They didn't buy any of it because it wasn't folded or put neatly in the bag. I just took them from the dryer and put them in a bag to sell because in order to sort and check the clothes they would need to unfolded anyway. They completely wasted my time. read more

This Store is AWESOME!!!!!!!!! The Staff here is Friendly and very Knowledgeable. The manager at this location has watched my son grow up from a baby to 5 years old now. Every time I come into this location the treat me and my son like FAMILY! The downfall to this store is eventually my son will not be able to wear the clothes that we get him from there. On that day my face will be sad and my pocketbook will be empty. My experience will not be everyone's experience, however if you have had a bad experience at this location I wonder if you came in FOUL! These Ladies including my new buddy GABY are ALL GOOD with MOUSE & LIL MOUSE!!!! THEY WOULD GET MORE THAN 5 STARS, unfortunately that's all this review will allow. My first time shopping at Once Upon a Child was last Saturday. I really didn't know what to expect since I had never been to a consignment store specifically for kids before so I went with an open mind. I know that some people may sneer at buying used clothes to dress their precious new babies, but honestly, in the eyes of a baby everything and all things are new! I walked in and was immediately greeted and told that they were having a special sale that day; 20 onesies for $10 and an extra 30% off of everything. Their daily specials are 10 onesies for $10 and yellow tag items are 25% off so this was a great deal IMO because onesies are now only 50 cents each! The racks were well organized, although it did not have a lot of merchandise on it like the location off of Roswell road. Many of the items were in pretty good condition, some were a bit faded than others. Strollers can be found in front of the store and are chained together so you have to tell an employee you want to buy/look at one. The aisles are a bit narrow at both locations, so maneuvering a stroller can be tricky. Although I haven't sold them anything, I do plan on returning and using the customer loyalty card to build up my baby's wardrobe. read more

On Monday during our shopping my baby dropped his buzz lightyear toy inside this store. I didn't realize till I was about to go to my car. I came back and asked the cashiers but they didn't even seem concerned. Well I looked around and didn't find it on the ground. Terrible customer service. Brought an entire bag full of clean neat baby girl clothes & they refused to buy a single item because they don't take "wrinkled" clothing, or some with light staining. They don't deserve the one star I have no choice in giving. I went to drop of clothes that were still in mint condition and was told it would be done in 25 minutes so I left and LITERALLY 5 minutes later I received a text that my clothes were done. I think that was absolute laziness and unprofessional. My clothes were not even looked at and mainly given back to me the way I dropped them off. They have the nerve to say "due to wear". Cons: Some employees are rude. Wait times are longer than other places I've been when it comes to selling clothes. It's hard to get through the store with a stroller. The store is OK. But you have to shop wisely. Some deals they have are good. Went last week to shop for my new baby on the way and before I spend any money I saw the prices first then took a trip to Walmart to compare. Find out OUAC had the diapers trash for $25 and it was a little bit broken. The other store has it for $23 brand new and I see other few things like that. They had strollers in perfect condition that were on a range from $55 to $75 which I find really good and thinking on buying that there. read more

As soon as I entered I felt very welcome, Gabriela and her team we're working with an other customer; they immediately turned greeted me, and made me feel like I was in the right place. On top of that Gabriela was very knowledgeable and has a way with words. I'm a father and having a person that knows the "baby stuff department" is super clutch. She also had information on how long and on what date my items came to once upon a child, making me feel good that I was Getting my child the freshest new arrivals. This place seems like a good place to shop. However, if you're trying to make some money for your gently used kids clothes you're better off selling them on Ebay. I took a lot of about 50 pieces of my son's clothes (H&M, GAP, Old Navy) and was offered $6 for a few pieces including a like new H&M denim jacket. I said no thanks and then sold the same lot of clothes on Ebay and made $60 after shipping! I would donate before attempting to sell to this store. read more

I enjoy shopping on a budget for my little girl and selling her clothes back.... BUT I sometimes feel like this store rips me off for what I bring in. The worst selling experience for ever! I brought my daughter's clothes to sell twice. At the first dropping by, I was told to wait 3 hrs for an offer, and I took back due to the limited time. At the second time, I got a phone call half an hour later and was told none of items were selected!!! I have to take all back, and waste two days to sell nothing. read more

Today was my first time at this Once Upon a Child and let me just say it's the best one yet!!!! This location is very neat and organized and the staff was very friendly and greeted me as soon as I walked in and asked if I needed help finding anything despite being busy with other customers.They were very helpful and walked me to the correct size I needed. They even went the extra mile to help me pick out a birthday outfit for my son's shoot! I was a little skeptical to shop here because of some of the other reviews but Wow was I missing out all these years shopping & selling to other locations! I will definitely be back! read more

Customer service is not so great. The girls there seem to be more interested in finishing their conversations and texts before they help a customer. The prices at the store are fair though and they have some good quality merchandise. Best recommendation...train your staff or hire on better people. read more

Their inventory and prices are good. But the staff is impolite. Every time I go they are talking about the customers. They talk about the way the customers dress, look, smell etc.. They even talk bad about pregnant women specially that red headed girl that works there. I don't think its appropriate that they talk bad about customers, because thanks to customers they get paid. I don't know what type of customers are they trying to reach out to but since its a second store they should be aware that most of there customers are going to be low income and they shouldn't judge base on race, or financial status. I would not recommend selling your baby clothes to this store. I took some clothes there and they told me that the clothes were stained and I know for a fact that the clothes were brand new with the price tags on them. They did take the name brand items and paid $1 dollar per items, and I also had some brand new toys. They are a rip off and their employees are very rude. read more
