Can at 2pm, Small store various items. Found a nice orbit jogger stroller. My kids had to use the restroom so we stepped out for 10 min. We comeback to see a LAMINATED sign that says "temporarily closed due to internet outage". This obviously tells me that they have an outage very often; to have a printed and laminated sign that said the following. Also noticed a now hiring sign. Wonder if there's any correlation. read more

This place needs a revamp. I used to love coming here to both buy and sell, but the new staff seems to hate their jobs. They seem to just want to catch up about their weekends or sit and chit-chat about other things. Not a friendly greet or how's it going. I did catch one girls name. SOPHIA. Rude. Great baby and toddler finds! They have all kinds of clothes and toys for boys and girls of all ages.

The staff is so incredibly rude. They're very stuck up and seem to not want to be bothered and don't really help much. Instead of "how can I assist or help you" in stead of "can I help you?" They could be a little better with their compassion towards you when also asking how much longer they'll be sorting through items to purchase. I have given this place my business only because I have no choice other than goodwill, but the staff is really rude and they just seem upset or depressed. Decent place to come sell your used kids clothes. You get cents to a dollar for most items. Better off selling your stuff on CL, OfferUp or other apps like that if you don't need cash right away. I've sold a couple Nike shoes and 3 bags worth of clothes and only received $25 for everything. Stuff in there use to be "cheap" but you can find new items for a better price at retail stores like old navy or carters when they are running deals. read more

This location has inconsistent and incorrect size tagging. It would be wise to bring your kid here when shopping or to avoid this location. I have had multiple visits where the sizing was not correct on tags and management refused to return. read more

OUAC offers a wide variety of children outfits. I have found some stuff that were in good conditions. I have also sold my kids' clothes a few times. I would recommend this place to parents who are looking for cute and affordable stuff for your little ones. read more

Can't beat good quality 2nd hand kid's items. These stores are small and cramped, but you can find pretty much anything you need.

Great way to find gently used and some new with tags children's clothes. They give seasonal discounts and you can earn points towards free merchandise. This is the place to buy baby furniture and equipment. I can save even more by selling their outgrown clothes to pay for their current sizes. I'm a grandma and I've bought infant equipment for when they stayed at our home. The parents don't have to transport it back and forth. read more

I have always enjoyed coming here-to sell and shop. Every time has always been the same except for this experience I had with Maryann and Caroline. They both lacked customer service and made my experience very lackluster. They're both very monotone and you can clearly tell when someone doesn't enjoy what they're doing. Maryann checked me out and had shown immense rudeness as she asked me simple questions such as "do you want a bag or no". She was very quick to dismiss me and act very aggressively. Small things like this is what makes me wonder what went through their employer's mind when hiring them. read more

I came in last week to buy items and it was a really good experience. It was almost closing time for the store when I came but the two workers were so patient and sweet. The blonde kid was helping me throughout the store being very helpful and then meyorca was the one to ring me up and she was so nice. By the time I was done it was over the time of closing and both of these workers were so patient and I would definitely recommend shopping here. read more

First time at the store, and it was great to see that they had a decent amount of formal, baby boy outfits.

They don't even pay cash anymore, only store credit. It's a mess in here and the clothes are super worn, dirty, and overpriced. The toys are just thrown in bins and put at the back of the store. And the smell in this store.. I don't even know what it is.. it's like old clothes, mixed with old water, mold and cigarettes. But they expect people to pay $20 for a worn out onesie that will be stuck with that smell. Also I laugh everytime I come in here because right as you walk in, there's a paw patrol car and Minnie Mouse car at the top of the first clothing shelf that is broken, with scratches, stickers ripped off, and selling for $80. This is the cleanest and most organized Once Upon A Child location! Very shoppable, easy to navigate, easy to browse. There was even a bargain bin right when I walked into the store! Call before you go there because their business hours are different from the website, from Apple maps, from the search engines - every one of these sources lists completely different business hours. read more

This is a good place to shop and sell but compared to the store on Marconi, customer service is poor. I didn't get to catch the young woman's name that helped me because she was quick to go back to chit chatting wIth her coworker after she gave me my quote. When I asked about the items they did not buy, she waved me away and 'yeah, you can take that'. Just not a friendly Monday night crew. read more

Went to "Child" for the first time and was very impressed. The staff were friendly and masked up correctly. The clothes were clean and organized. Good prices and many of the clothes looked barely used. I purchased several t-shirts for my toddler grandson and had a very good experience. I recommend this store if you are in the area. read more

I've been coming to this store for over 10 years. I always find great items here for my kids. I agree with some of the other reviews that they are not very knowledgeable when buying items so Ive just learned what not to try and sell. I now live in Tracy and will make sure I come here whenever visiting Elk Grove. This store is by far way better than the Tracy store. read more

The people that work here are so rude and lazy and always make low ball offers on items that have never been opened. They never take anything that other stores take. They don't take stuffed animals HAHAHA yeah okay. They've taken them at locations in Reno, Vacaville and Fremont, all of which are excellent stores BTW. And another thing that all the above mentioned stores do that THIS location won't is whatever they won't take, they'll donate it for you. In the past, this location has also refused to take a Mamas and Papas high chair, a Bumbo chair that was never used , a Co-Sleeper and two never been used Joovi potty seats and forget about baby gates too. This location sucks. I should've listened to the reviews and went to the location in Citrus Heights or even Tracy. Whoever runs this location really doesn't care and it shows. read more

Love this store! They just recently remodeled so it's clean with a fresh new look. You can sell just about everything kid related, except car seats and used stuffed animals (which no resellers take, and some charities don't even take) They are like family, they care about their customers and give great deals. They have so much baby clothes at a good price. They have everything organized and you can find so many good things you might need or might be looking for. It was my first time at the store and the cashier was so nice, she even told me about their rewards program. Needed a tie, suspenders & a white shirt for DD's Nerd Day at school & they had all of that. The suspenders were new & fit perfectly (no star deduction for it being new but would have liked it used for the lower cost). Baby #2 got a nice pair of Children's Place for about 8$ Decent price for that faded carpenter look I wanted to achieve. Baby #3 Got 2 pairs of button up short sleeve shirts for about $3 each! This was a huge score & the gist of my stars. These shirts at the store would have easily been $10-$12 each on sale. He also got these brand new looking croc shoes bcuz he can't fit nothing in regular shoes (elephant feet we lovingly call them)f. I deducted a star because some of the stuff in the store really shouldn't be in there. Some items are really faded, used up & the good stuff are hard or few to find. For instance that nice pair of denim pants was the only pair I found. I was in search for a nice size 5 winter jacket for a boy & there was none. I shudder at the thought of having to buy brand new! ;) Overall it's a place that has decent customer service, okay supply (but could have better. We really appreciate the "play area" that holds the squirrly moving toddlers confined. read more
