Dr. Mathis! From…read morethe bottom of our hearts, thank you so much for helping and reviving our 14 year old Sunny Boy (Shitzu). He hasn't had any more seizures for almost 2 months, and he is so much peppier, engaged, playful and comfortable! As we shared with you, Sunny was looking lethargic and depressed for so long -- for months, if not years, and we just assumed it was "old age" plus his heart murmur -- and we thought there was not much we could do for him (especially in quarantine). And then the seizures started coming --almost every 2 days until you treated him. The herbs you prescribed on his first visit were right on point! No more seizures, and his appetite is also bigger and more enthusiastic and expressive. I'm so grateful I found you back in 2002 (I think) at VCA johnson to take care of our senior Chihuahua Queenie, then our Minipin Sparky, our Jack Russel Pearl, and our ancient 19 year old mini Chihuahua Tynee. Not only did you help us give them all comfort and care, you've been an incredible educator as a holistic pet vet that helped us be better caretakers, as well as better understand the unique "elemental" needs, personality and health issues of each our pets. Thank you for continuing to do the amazing work for these precious beings. We're so blessed to have you and wish you great health and prosperity in all your endeavors! Bless you! Cindie's work with animals is incredibly effective - I've heard of dozens of success stories from…read moreher and her clients. I refer my patients to her services and hear great things in response! One in particular sticks out: A sweet dog was getting eye surgery and I recommended Cindie work with him. And when he came back for his post-surgical check up, the vet was astounded that the inflammation was totally clear - something the vet had never seen before! So if you're wondering whether it's worth it to have your pet receive some energy healing when you're already spending so much for their health - the answer is YES! It can make the recovery process easier and less drawn out for your pet (that means less costly too). If you're looking for an unforgettable experience, take a class with Cindie Ambar. I don't have pets now, but I love connecting with animals. I took my pregnant wife to a workshop at the pregnant mare rescue on how to bond with animals and we had the most magical time. The baby horses came right up to us and loved us up after we meditated with them. I can't think of a better gift to give another person than a magical experience like that! And if you want to build your skills as an animal healer yourself - take her Reiki classes! Cindie is the real deal - give her a call and step into her world. She's got brilliant talents and resources.

Found this updated post in my draft folder from a year ago or so. Oops. (Dedicated to Moo-Moo.)…read more Kitty showed improvement after just 2 visits. Our local vets didn't think it was possible. More key points I learned: (6) 50-60°F Cold compresses for 2 minutes, then (5) 105°F hot for 2 minutes. Start with cold & end with cold. This gets the blood moving in & out of the area. Warmth is inflammatory, that's why you need to start & end with cold. I bought a bunch of microwavable heat/cold pads. I would put the hot pads in a pot of hot water while using the cold pads to heat them back up. Make sure the urine stays clean looking (bladder emptied 2 or 3 times a day & antibiotics if an infection develops), the skin & genitals get cleaned & dried well to or not get a skin infection. Females - don't cross-contaminate by bringing feces bacteria to the genitals. Infection = sepsis Products I found helpful: cat waterless shampoo, A+D diaper rash ointment & skin protectant (vet recommended because no toxic zinc in it) , & Honey Pot anti-itch wipes.

Our dog fell off our bed and hurt his hip and started limping and couldn't sit anymore. It was so sad to see a dog that walked 2 miles daily starting to limp. We were worried about coming to see Dr Maeg bc our dog is a bit reactive and not good with new people. However, he loved Dr Maeg immediately. After his first visit his limp was gone and he could sit normally. After our second visit he was like new. We bring him regularly just bc his appts make him so happy. We are so grateful for you Dr Maeg!

We owe a debt of gratitude to Dr. Mills and her brilliant assistant Sabyl, who gave our grateful family the best Christmas present we could ever hope for-- the life of Mister Basher, our aging but now very healthy Goldie. It was our first time with an integrative veterinarian, and it was a wonderful holistic journey that helped us to think outside the box as far as health and happiness of our good boy. Dr. Mills is very generous with her time and explains things very thoroughly with lots of great suggestions for everything from weight loss to dog training. We were helped with understanding how to get our very strong personality boy to become the boy whom we love today. The team at the front of the office handles appointments, answers questions, and processes records and checkout with efficiency and kindness. This is the same for the back end of the pharmacy who fill prescriptions quickly and accurately or the technicians who take back one's furry loved one for blood tests, vaccines, or nail trims in a kind manner to avoid stress. Both pups and people alike are treated with respect and are allowed to be an active partner with this practice. Our boy developed idiopathic epilepsy prior to turning four which necessitated Dr. Mills to refer us to the neurologist Dr. Erik Johnson, co-founder of NeuroVet in Pleasant Hill, CA. We continued with Dr. Mills for all things unrelated to neurology and she remained interested in his seizure progress. Prior to moving to a new state, we had a battery of tests and vaccines to ensure that we had the best possible care before having to search for a new veterinarian in our area. Dr. Mills was able to help us out of a bind from afar that was very much appreciated and for which we are eternally grateful. We encourage others to consider Dr. Mills for your pets needs as she can manage any type of pet from a horse to a hamster. If you should require a neurologist, Dr. Johnson will likely be the great resource for you as he was for us.
